This indifferent, mentally "checked out on a Friday night @ 6pm" GenZ girl, absolutely stated this in a way that came off as "I don't really wanna do this dog so, yeah, just letting you know about the fees", attitude. If she treats me this way, how would she treat my pet? Just no way in hell I'll leave my tiny shih tzu here. There are tons of people who groom dogs as a side hustle, wtf needs a big rip off corporation with their underpaid obnoxious staff to do it.

They accept pets at 7AM but they're kept in a cage for hours until they have playtime which is in a group that is not separated by size. My 4 month old Cavapoo puppy is not playing with large dogs that can trample her and injure her! That is not safe. I asked for my reservation to be canceled after hearing, "we keep them in cages and the dogs all play together regardless of size". If anything were to ever happen to my girl, I would be absolutely livid. Do not take your dog here!

So, the main positive to PetSmart was the variety of different dog foods that they had. They had a lot of Blue Buffalo (including at least one variety that I hadn't seen before). They also had a ton of Nutro (which my dog doesn't seem to like for some reason, but which has a good reputation as far as I know). They also had a fair selection of Wellness, and a small selection of Castor & Pollux. I didn't look to hard at them, but it seemed like they also had a good variety of foods like Pedigree, Alpo, Iams, Hill's Science Diet, etc. The staff was also very friendly, which is nice. There were two major negatives in my opinion. The first was that I couldn't seem to find Merrick anywhere. To be fair, I didn't ask for help finding it, but if they did have it, they couldn't have had much. I looked through all of the dog food aisles. This wasn't a huge deal for me, as this PetSmart is a little further than I would typically go for my every day pet store. Otherwise, it would be a big issue. As far as I know, there is no other dog food with a reputation for being healthy that offers such a wide array of creative dog foods. Since my dog is spoiled, and will not eat the same food over and over again, having odd varieties like Hawaiian Luau, Turducken, Brauts & Tots, etc. is very helpful. The other major detractor for this store, in my opinion, was that they really seemed to showcase unhealthy options for foods, treats, and even tooth / breath care. It's not a huge deal, since they had most of the healthy alternatives, too. You just weren't going to find them in the front of the store or on end caps.

When the service was complete, I was notified that she was ready to be picked up... I believe I took about 30 minutes to go and get her and was called a second time.. I didn't really understand the sense of urgency as there was only 1 other dog in there when I went to get her. But.. checking out was easy enough.

OnceI was food shopping at Petsmart and I bumped into a very picky and fussy friend of mine who just got her Cocker groomed there. The pooch looked amazing! For some reason I never thought of getting grooming services at Petsmart, it's like getting a haircut in the Mall...:) Anyway, my friend recommended Alex, and I was very happy with her service as well. Alex is attentive, caring and a real expert. Morris always looks very handsome after the visit. And not just that, but he is always happy to return, that means he is treated very well. Since then many of my friends started to use her, all very happy. The place is clean and everybody is helpful and nice. Very highly recommend it!

She was a replacement for our regular cat groomer, who consistently provided excellent service and never experienced any issues with my two cats. Jasmine stated that she would make a note that one of my cats does not tolerate the use of a blow dryer. However, during the appointment, she provided inconsistent and conflicting accounts regarding which cat had allegedly attacked her, ultimately changing which cat she claimed was responsible. When my cat was returned to me, the cat she identified as having attacked her had a leash tightened around her neck to such an extent that she was visibly struggling to breathe. This was extremely distressing and entirely unacceptable. Both my cats were soaking wet , nails not cut , and clearly not groomed for the money spent. Although I spoke with the manager and received a refund, Jasmine proceeded to mark both of my cats as dangerous and labeled them as red attack. Affecting me booking online at all locations.
