This is not spring rolls.
Rose H.

I would give a zero if I could. Why? You go to a Thai restaurant and for some reason the cashier or whoever you want to say is working in the front cannot understand spring roll from summer roll. And when I entered this restaurant there were so many workers sitting down and nothing was really happening so I'm not sure how that could be misheard. We were the to customers in the restaurant, there are eight other people visible. I know this place from I think they open in 2021 and back then a lot of my orders would be wrong. It is now 2026 and the most basic thai appetizer was wrong. Maybe it was different cashiers back then, who knows? The best part was when I explained to them that I wouldn't be back for 3 hours they wanted me to hold this and bring it back for them to correct it. At the end I think the manager agreed that I didn't have to bring it back nonetheless I wish I had someone I could give this to but because it's shrimp I wouldn't just give it to any kid on the street because who knows if they're allergic to shellfish and in my luck they would be. Moving on probably won't go there for another 5 years. P.S If you do eat here I believe the curries are not bad but just know that doesn't come with rice and that's an additional $4

I have always loved this place. However the lady who answered my call tonight was very rude. They lost my business forever.

Always our go-to spot for Thai food! This time we decided to try something new and ordered the Ono Thai Chicken Basil, requested non-spicy. Of course, the Thai Fried Chicken is a must every time we order--it never disappoints. The Pad Thai was flavorful, though the beef was a bit tough, so next time I'll go with a different protein. I'd also been craving mango sticky rice and was pleasantly surprised they had it, even though it's not listed on the menu (just pictured). Service is consistently great here. I called in the order, and it was ready in about 20 minutes, just as promised. The restaurant was bustling, which is always nice to see for this hidden gem!

Not sure what happened but the quality of this place has gone down within the past year. I had shrimp tom yum a few weeks ago and there were only 4 pieces of shrimp. I ordered a papaya salad for dinner last night and when I got home and started eating it I noticed there was no heat because they didn't add chili peppers. The saddest part were the tomato slices they used. It's like they took all the rubbish parts and added it to my plate. The food here used to be great. I want to see this place succeed so do better Ono Thai.

Seriously, why is this place so good? Hidden in a small corner in Ewa, it's truly a gem! My hubby likes this pork with basil plate with fried egg on top, his favorite. My friend recommended the fried chicken and oh my goodness it's amazing and the damn plate is huge! I do go for the salads and noodles too. Can't go wrong. Everything is delicious.

Our go to Thai place located in Ewa beach. Usually it's busy but we walked in on a Saturday night and not one table was taken but so many take out orders and the phone kept going off to place more orders. The food is so good, our regular order is Thai fried chicken (so crispy), papaya salad (so refreshing), chicken pad Thai, chicken green curry with sticky rice.

We always get some kind of curry as a staple and then try something new from the menu. Everything we have tried is amazing!

Take out. Eggplant salad was soggy, but Thai fried chicken, Thai sweet sour pork were very tasty. Nice to have options on spice level.

Is it byob?

We don't drink you can call and ask sorry

Are they open on Sundays? They were closed last Sunday and no one is answering the phone today also.

I walked past there today and they posted a sign on the door. they're actually closed for renovations till May 4.

Do they have a vegan/vegetarian dishes/menu?

Their items can be modified vegetarian. We get tofu instead of the meat in their curry and noodle dishes. We always get the pineapple fried rice w/tofu! They also have veggie dishes. As for vegan, they'll advise you if a dish can be made vegan…

The positives, both items had a decent flavor and it was quick. The negatives, the sticky rice was gummy and just one big lump which is unfortunate bc the flavor is there. First, found the restaurant tooked into the corner next to Buffalo Wild Wings. Upon entering, the restaurant has a great upscale atmosphere with outdoor seating. A few bar seating up front as you wait to be seated. But during this weekday lunch, there was just one other family seated. Service was quick as I already knew what I wanted. Possibly because of its upscale vibe, prices are $6 -$7 more than other places. Food was tasty. Portions are large and so I was able to take home my leftovers. Bathroom is nice and clean. The only thing is that there's a large frosted Pictor window making the restroom really warm and muggy. I would recommend this place, but not for everyday dining due to the higher end price.

We had a table for 10 on a Tuesday and ordered a few pitchers of beer to go along with the agedashi tofu, crispy French fries and ahi poke nachos. We always have the agendas tofu because the give you a whole block of tofu cubed, battered and deep fried swimming in a light shoe based sauce, really delicious and served piping hot. The fries were served with garlic and were nice and crispy. Ahi poke nachos were excellent, I would order it again. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. The tofu was just $11, up from the previous $10 but still a great deal.

There is a wide selection of dishes, including starters, sushi, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, plates, and bowls. Besides sharing a pitcher of beer, my tablemate ordered the Pastrami Sandwich and I had the Korean Fried Chicken. My plate came with rice and mac salad, but I asked for French Fries in place of the rice. Alas, I got a plate with rice and fries. Sigh. The pastrami sandwich comes with a choice of fries, mac, or green salad. My tablemate opted for the mac salad. Except for the faux pas on my dish, the food was well presented and prepared properly. Service was fine and the prices reasonable being that it's 2024. My primary quibble is their hours of operation. 11am on weekdays and 10am on weekends is too late for a golf course restaurant. They have a breakfast menu but why bother? Our tee time was at 6:40am so we had to find breakfast elsewhere. My other quibble is the limited choice in beer by the pitcher ... Bud Lite? The restaurant is nice and it could be so much more ... a conditional recommendation for now.

I like that each of us got our own pots for our broth. I chose the pumpkin. I usually get the herbal, which is my fave. I decided to try something new this time. It tasted more like tomato than pumpkin. I'll stick to my herbal the next time. For your meats you can choose: toro beef, beef brisket, pork belly, chicken and pork shoulder. We got a little of everything. You can also get veggies, noodles and seafood from the fridge. For dessert, they have this sago bar. Don't forget the sauce bar. You can mix and match all your sauces. I like the sesame sauce mixed with minced garlic and the ginger onion sauce. Some of the items I got for my pot were: beef, head on shrimp, clams, pumpkin, taro, corn and lobster balls. My fave was the head on shrimp and pumpkin. The corn wasn't too fresh. I loved their Taiwanese shave ice. Unfortunately, they don't have it anymore. It got replaced by the sago bar. I tried the mango and ube. The ube was good and fragrant. Auntie was there. I knew her from back in the day when she had Sweet Home Cafe in McCully. She looks fabulous and is still as friendly as ever.

I would go to Aunty's so much where I used to buy her sauce by the jars. We haven't gone back since they changed to AYCA. We aren't really big eaters and neither is my kids. But my daughter has been craving Aunty's so we went today. And we probably won't ever at least not for there AYCE pothot. My daughter who was craving Aunty's is slightly over 40" which now they charge full child price for however she doesn't eat much (like she doesn't fiinish a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal type). So when it came to ordering, we ordered 4 hotpots (3 adult prices and 1 kid one for my oldest), 1 side of fries which is free. We didnt order a Hotspot for my daughter because we knew she wasn't gonna eat it all and we can't take it home. Coming from a food service industry background. I hate seeing food being wasted. 1. We would get charged for "wasted" food 2. If the restaurant sees food is being wasted it can eventually cause an upcharge in food cost. After dinner, Aunty's is known for their complimentary dessert, which used to be a shave ice of some sort with varies sagos and boba. Now its just a sago bar, which to me is a downgrade too. I used to like the shave ice as it would be refreshing after a nice hot pot and it was light enough and mixed with the sago and boba it would help that sweetness. Now its just straight sago just different flavors. Its just overly sweet pudding. They should think about revamping their menu back to how it used to be. During our time there, you could see it wasn't as busy as it used to be. And they had a lot of take out because they do offer takeout for non-hot pot dishes and its actually reasonable prices. Maybe they should bring back their hot pot takeout too. The broth is good but not good enough to pay AYCE prices for stomachs who dont eat AYCE worth of food. And since majority of it is DIY, paying premium prices for less than service ( we didnt even get our waters filled.) But again coming from a service industry we still tipped 20%. Its making it harder and hard to go out and support local businesses. Going out in Hawaii is already expensive so if the prices ain't right, the service ain't right, the food is par. We might as well make our own or go somewhere else.

Everything was cooked fast, fresh to order, and great bang for your buck considering all the pricy touristy spots you can go to. We also appreciated that they had plenty of healthy options with lots of veggies. This spot is a very typical Asian American cantonese restaurant and every dish we tried was great. In fact, afterwards we put in more orders for take out so we can eat it for dinner as well. 100% would come back. Their menu is huge and I'm sure some things are better than others so I would suggest sticking to the classics and you won't be let down. Steamed fish filet served with garlic and green onions: light, fresh, tender, and delicate with a flavorful sauce. Always a hit in my family 9.5/10 Mongolian beef: very tender beef over some stir fried onions and with a sweet and savory sauce. This plate had a more sweet sauce then I usually am used to but everyone was really happy with it and had no real complaints. 9/10 Curry chicken: not something I usually order at a Chinese restaurant but was glad we tried as it was a very tender chicken dish with a flavorful yellow curry and some veggies. The sauce mixed with white rice was unbeatable. 10/10 Eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce: saucy, tender and garlicky, it was a standard version of this dish and hit the spot. I think it could of had even more garlicky flavor but I am nitpicking and would still get anytime if I came back. 8.5/10 Mixed veggies with garlic sauce: light and healthy and the wok hei really came through. 8.5/10 Shrimp chow fun with gravy: shrimp was not overcooked and very tender and the noodles were al dente. The whole dished was topped with a boatload of savory sauce. Was even better with some added chili oil. Also once you ate the noodles you can add some rice into the sauce to soak it up and enjoy it that way as well. 9/10 In summary, come and support this family ran restaurant. If you are craving this style of Chinese food served family style with excellent service, it will certainly hit the spot.
