    Pastrami Sandwich w/mac salad
    Gerry L.

Our golf club was out at 360° Ewa Beach C.C. and after our round we dined at Restaurant Tombo on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse. There is a wide selection of dishes, including starters, sushi, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, plates, and bowls. Besides sharing a pitcher of beer, my tablemate ordered the Pastrami Sandwich and I had the Korean Fried Chicken. My plate came with rice and mac salad, but I asked for French Fries in place of the rice. Alas, I got a plate with rice and fries. Sigh. The pastrami sandwich comes with a choice of fries, mac, or green salad. My tablemate opted for the mac salad. Except for the faux pas on my dish, the food was well presented and prepared properly. Service was fine and the prices reasonable being that it's 2024. My primary quibble is their hours of operation. 11am on weekdays and 10am on weekends is too late for a golf course restaurant. They have a breakfast menu but why bother? Our tee time was at 6:40am so we had to find breakfast elsewhere. My other quibble is the limited choice in beer by the pitcher ... Bud Lite? The restaurant is nice and it could be so much more ... a conditional recommendation for now.

Korean fried chicken - da bomb!

Had lunch here before playing 18. I ordered the Korean fried chicken and it was just freaking delicious. Super crispy chunks of chicken that was not oversauced, but had the garlicky kick to it. My son ordered the chicken katsudon and he also liked it. Portion sizes were great - had enough left to eat for a snack during our round. We sat at a table that had a view of the practice green and the 18th hole. The tables on the other side of the room has a great view of the beach. My only regret is not coming back to eat here for a second time during our trip. Also want to give 5 stars for the staff and the service. Kitchen took only a short time to get our food out. Daniel and Amanda were very attentive and friendly to us (mainlanders). We enjoyed chatting golf with Daniel, who deserves recognition for just being an awesome and cool braddah. Thanks for making my son's day!

Dined in for an 11a lunch with a group of friends on a Thursday afternoon. It was a perfect time as they got busy just as we were about to leave and there was only 1 server. Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor with a nice view overlooking the putting green. Food was tasty & large portions for the price. We started with garlic fries, which was so good, didn't get a chance to take a pic of it ‍ The Korean sparkling drink was okay. I thought it'd be a sweet/citrus flavor but it was more tart. The "special sauce" on their burgers were delish. Ribeye steak & Korean Fried Chicken were also winners. I'd come back to try other items on the menu.

Beautiful scenery of the lush green fairways. Restaurant Tombo is located on the second floor (elevator accessible). Due to the special 2-week "pop op" where a Michelin Chef served Pork Gomtang, Kim Chee tofu mandoo, there were crowds and the servers tried their best to keep up with the never ending flow of patrons. The entree was quite refine and the mandoo excellent. I think that local folks would prefer a heavily kochoguang flavored broth...stinging--this broth was refined...like for fine dining. I would like to go back and try their many other offerings

The Tonkotsu Ramen was absolutely fire! I'll definitely be coming back here to try more things!

Stopped in for take away after golf. Poke bowls and rolls are fantastic. Great portions for the money. Give this place a try!

I've been here over 3 maybe 4 times now and always enjoyed my experience here…read more I initially came here 3 days after opening. Although the menu has changed a bit, their food and service has stayed consistent. Service has improved as far as timing of food coming out (as goes with all freshly open restaurants). Their staff has always been superb. Top notch, super friendly, knowledgeable of the menu items and always accommodating. I've asked for their recommendations on certain items and their recommendations have always been a good choice. On today's visit (June 2026) we ordered the Korean soy garlic chicken wings, tuna toast and truffle fries as an appetizer. The wings were perfectly cooked.. juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. The tuna toast was very very very flavorful. It had a hint of smoke and citrus. Interesting but delightful experience for my taste buds. For our main course my date had chefs choice sushi and I had the pork loin katsu. The sushi was fresh and flavorful... you get 10 pcs so depends on your appetite (I'm a big eater so I would've ordered 3x sushi) he enjoyed the perfect portion (he's a skinny boy). I went for the pork katsu..... I highly recommend the pork loin. Super tender and juicy on the inside and perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside. For dessert we had the sweet potato crème brûlée.... Ok so we ordered this bc it's different.. but I wished I went for something more lighter due to alllll the food we ate. But it was interesting. Delicious concept. But for a dessert.... I would've chosen something more lighter. If you're still hungry after your meal... the sweet potato will top you off. Overall, I enjoy this place.... Nice place on the west side, free parking, great food, superb service and beats driving into town for sure! Oh... we also had a bottle of Dassai 45 sake with your meal. I enjoyed it a lot!

Wait time wasn't long at all, and there are plenty of tables inside, making it great for groups. My go to is always the spicy miso broth. The buffet bar is the same setup as the first location, with a wide variety of noodles, vegetables, additional meats and seafood, plus tons of sauces to customize your meal. So many options to choose from. I really enjoy their fish ball and raw eggs that I can cook with the ramen! I wouldn't skip the original fried chicken. It's so good we had to order more than five bowls of them! Crispy, flavorful sauce, and totally addictive. Service was fast and the servers were very attentive throughout our meal. Also, was kind of hard getting our servers attention at times and they were very strict on the time limit despite the restaurant being empty. Sushi is my favorite so if I'm hungry, I could finish two salmon party plates. My husband splurged and got the premium nigiri set. He was nice enough to give me his uni nigiri and I inhaled that in .2 two seconds. We also got the kumbo tempura. We love that the place has a belt. You can also have minimal person free experience with it. Everything is done on the touchpad so you don't really have to talk to anyone if you don't have special requests. I assume this is how some places do it in Japan, which is very efficient. You do only get one wasabi container until you have to pay for More I believe. But you can tell the wasabi is good quality as well. For their traffic and wait-time, I believe the service is good. This place will get really busy during dinner, but it's not too bad when you get to walk around donki as you wait. You put your name on the list through the iPad and it will text you when they are ready for you. My overall experience is that it's simple and delicious, just the way I like my sushi

We tried the Wagyu plate, none of which was as tender as I'd hoped. Ordering in the tablet wasn't as easy as it could be, and we ordered something by mistake as a result. I'm not sure I get the rice thing. The rice was fine, but didn't hold together so well, making eating the nigiri a little difficult. I missed a number of favorites from other sushi places, and really wanted the chawanmushi, even though we were there for dinner (apparently it's only available lunch time?) On the plus side, the place was nice and clean, well-lit, and comfortable. And as mentioned above, the service was impeccable.

You think you're getting a good deal by going AYCE, but don't let the Ala carte pictures fool you. The quality and what you get is TOTALLY different in the AYCE. They cut corners and give you what appears to be the leftover pieces for the AYCE. They specifically have a policy on wasted rice to be charged at $35/lbs. Makes sense cuz they put so much extra rice to make you extra full. Just fyi, that's 2 people's orders. When they say 3 limit order per person, they mean, 3 pieces of nigiri. I've never been to an AYCE that was so stingy.
