I ordered the Plate Lunch Seafood (Island White Fish) that comes with 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of mac salad and veggies. It is a very filling portion. They taste really good as well The ambiance is pretty much similar to other restaurant where people could sit and chill because there are background musics. Visit - 1/10/26 To the shift leader Yadira working today .. GIRL you run the most unorganized team under your direction / supervision. I came in and placed an order for just Spam musubi and it legitimately took almost an hour . While other patrons that came in after me that placed an order to Dine in or take out all got their orders prior to me . After 30-40 mins , she had to replace the order in their system . What probably bothered me the most when I originally placed my order upon arrival & wanted to PAY with the exact dollar amount & change she refused and said I've already processed it .. I'm thinking you really got Selective listening after I clearly told her I'd pay the right amount because I didn't want a bunch of loose change in Return and she didn't feel like calculating match obviously I knew it was going to be down hill . So from waiting for close to an hour and the process of transaction to other patrons who were upset about why their order took forever now I clearly know why this place has such low rating ... Leaving a review because I was very impressed with how hard Evelyn was working and how well she communicated. It can get crowded here but it moves quick and there is a touchscreen to order as well. My eldest daughter and I were in search for a fast food restuarant that we have not tried yet. Well, Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Fontana saved the day and we skipped the fast food search LOL. We got here about 30 mins prior to closing. They only take to-go orders at this time which makes sense. They have to start cleaning up and close restaurant. I ordered our usual for my daughters. One Seafood Mix and one Shrimp and BBQ Chicken. Prices have gone up quite a bit. Both items came out to be $30+. Seafood has always been more expensive. Anyway, per my daughters, the food was good overall. The chicken had great flavor, but was more charred than usual. I noticed food ordered near closing time is usually not the best as compared to the morning or afternoon when they are cooking up a storm. Towards the end means what's left for the day unfortunately. Staff was okay. Service could have been better. I felt like I was being watched while I was sitting there taking pictures of the food. I wasn't planning to eat it, but when the covers are opened, anything is possible in the eyes of the watcher LOL. It's all good. No harm no foul. Nothing was eaten by us. Just eaten by the phone LOL. Our return to this Ono Hawaiian is still undetermined. Maybe we'll try again when it's not near closing time. read more

I'm so disappointed. First I went and ordered food.. my order number was 126 they skipped over me and was in the 130's before I got up. The manager acted as if it was no problem. Didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was skipped over. I order 2 meals.. and there was a family after me that received their order before mine.. I ordered 2 fire chicken meals. I opened up the package that was on top before I left... the food wasn't super hot, I expected it to be like REALLY HOT because it took so long to get.. it MUST have been fresh... Parking is super tricky because this shopping center area gets really busy there, so FYI, be safe driving at this location. I understand sometimes it may be busy and it gets stressful but that is no exception for the rude attitude and unprofessional behavior.
