I got these bowls for my grandsons so they could have a healthy plant based meal before baseball practice. When I did receive my order I had requested half veggies and rice. I was given mostly rice and the bowl wasn't even filled. Seems like a terrible franchise that is ripping off their customers. This was my first time at this particular place. There's plenty of parking, not necessarily in front though. It's nice and clean inside. Employees are friendly. Ordered: Regular Chicken Bowl with white rice no vegetables. Looking at the chicken bowl, the pieces of chicken looks a bit smaller in portions than what I remembered. You get an extra teriyaki sauce with no charge but if you ask for more you do get charged. Maybe I'll come back to try the beef next time. read more

Came to this spot because I love flame broiler but I did not expect to walk in to such hospitality. I love the ambiance and the warm welcomes. It's amazing to see such generosity as well. Upon entering, my bf and I were quickly greeted and our order was taken. We ordered the half & half with veggies (aka the works bowl). The bowls tasted freshly made and had a decent amount of food. This is a no-nonsense fast food chain in a big shopping center but serves fresh, delicious food with a simple menu. The small restaurant is clean and there was a lot of seating including a couple tables outside. Our chicken bowls were amazing - perfectly seasoned dark meat chicken, steamed cabbage, broccoli, carrots that looked fresh and cared for (no mangy veggies here), and perfectly steamed rice. My husband is vegan so he enjoyed the organic tofu bowl. It took some time to cook his order and it came out awhile after our bowls, but the lady at the counter brought it outside to our table - a nice gesture. We loved the steamed vegetables and untouched rice (no extra salt!), and sauce on the side so we could control the healthiness of our lunch. With that said, their magic dressing is delicious and addictive (and sweet! Watch out!) Also a variety of levels of hot sauce. Craved a healthy chicken bowl after a solid workout tonight, and when we found out our usual Flame Broiler location was permanently closed, we chose the next closest one. Now let me preface this review by stating that we ordered through Post Mates. We placed our order on the app, and waited for our dinner to be delivered. About 10-15 minutes or so after placing our order, our Post Mates driver called us stating they did not have any chicken breast which is what I ordered. They also asked if we wanted chicken in our chicken bowl. Ummm, what?'! Isn't there chicken in a chicken bowl. Needless to say, they thought we only wanted rice and veggies since we didn't specify chicken in the chicken bowl. I'm sorry, but are you that dumb?! Thank goodness for our Post Mates driver for arguing with the Flame Broiler employees for being so stupid. She got an extra tip from us tonight. On to the food... Did I get a chicken breast, veggie, and rice bowl? No. Did I still get a chicken, veggie, and rice bowl? Yes. The food was still good, but how do you run out of chicken breast?! Love this location because it's so close to my house. It is extremely clean and of all the flame broilers I've eaten and ordered from, this location by far has the most friendly staff. Jesse always takes the extra time to ask customers how they are and during this crazy time of the world, you never know who needs a small talk from a friendly face. I like flame broiler very much...However, there have been many occasions when the cooks don't honor a simple request. I used to love my chicken bowls how they normally cook them. Until one cook made a mistake and overcooked the chicken and it was charred to a "T" - Well, I was in a rush and went home. I was so upset, but because I was hungry, I ate it anyway. To my surprise I couldn't believe how good it tasted more charred. Since then, I always request that the chicken is very well done and charred. It taste much better. It's the difference from tasting chicken that taste broiled, as apposed to chicken that tasted grilled. So anyway, I requested that the chicken be cooked very well done...And it wasn't..When I mentioned it to the cashier, she asked if I would like to wait to redo it. I said: No thanks, because I thought repeating my request twice would be enough. I got home and gave the chicken to my dogs, and ate a veggie bowl. Simple request when overlooked is what keeps people from going back, and it's bad for business...! I won't be going back there because they don't honor your request. I'll find another location I can go to. The more they do this to people, means less business, less business equals less money...! They could have taken an extra minute to do it right.
