They have the worst queso in Austin. I never write reviews, but I need to warn people not to go here. Waste of money.

I'm usually not one to complain.. but felt ripped off today. Al pastor - a total of 10 small pieces of meat. 1 large piece of onion, and cilantro. I could wrap the tortilla twice. $4 Chicken taco - again, very little meat.. a slop of sauce and cheese thrown on top. Not the best. $4 $9 dollars to not feel an ounce of feeling full. It's a hard pass from me from here on out. Plenty of other places that won't give you the smallest portion possible Don't go if you're hungry read more

Super friendly, Had the El Jefe, and the sausage and egg tacos. Delicious and the hot sauces added the special touch. HOLY COW the Me cafe- horchata and cold brew is what I will dream about replicating! Pass go and grab the Me Cafe! *chefs kiss* Also cool note, there was a fellow who was window cleaning the outside and inside windows and glass. I want to note first that I am both dairy and gluten-free. My husband and I had originally planned to eat across the street but they were out of gluten-free pizza. Boo. So we landed at OneTaco as tacos are easy to make both gluten and dairy free and we were hungry. After looking at the menu and talking to the people in the food truck I settled on the Gowalla taco (steak, bacon, avocado minus the queso) and carne asada. My husband got the al pastor and another taco. The problem was they made all the tacos gluten and dairy free despite me being the only one with the issues. My husband was not happy with this. Also, the tacos were dry and tasteless. I added some salsa to the tacos since we got chips and salsa and was still highly disappointing. I was not a fan of their salsa unlike my husband who thought the salsa was good. read more

At the speed of One Taco at a time Late, midweek lunch date found us ordering at this taco truck up next to Little Woodrows. A couple people in front of us waiting for food and we walked right up to the window. My friend ordered 2 Gowalla tacos and paid. I followed suit with a Gowalla ans Norte. 10 minutes later his tacos were up. Multiple people came and went then after a full 20 minutes from ordering I got my tacos. Where they good? Not that good. *Taco Gowalla $3.95 corn tortilla, bacon, steak, avocado and queso. First impression was its way too salty. Groovy mix of meats but did not sit right. Felt very bloated. Both of us felt bad after eating. *Taco Norte $3.95 corn tortilla, steak, queso with chorizo, and pico de gallo. Light and easy flavors I would order again. Not salty and liked the steak/chorizo blend. Conclusion The slowness is hard to get over. The tacos were interesting but I don't have time to wait 20 minutes for them. I'm important. The aftermath was bloating and pain. I'm guessing not everyone gets sick but we did. Bummer for sure. I'll probably try OneTaco again but staying away from the Gowalla and making sure I have more time. read more

Cool food truck at the back of Little Woodrows. We stopped by for breakfast tacos on a morning walk while staying at the Wyndham. The guys working were very friendly. Didn't take long to get our tacos (although we were the only ones at the truck). I had the Big Kahuna and my husband had the El Jefe. Both were tasty and a good portion for the price. Came with small containers of both red and green salsa. Green salsa had a good kick, but otherwise lacked flavor. Red salsa was good on my taco, but not sure it could stand alone. I've found that breakfast tacos often disappoint, but One Taco certainly did not! read more

I think this is one of those places where you have to know the right thing to order. I tried two tacos (the carne asada and the taco de pollo asada), although I had a hard time finding a taco I could order since many of them had cilantro in them, and I don't always trust that places will remove the cilantro on request. The carne asada was delicious, tender, and had a really nice grilled flavor. This taco was a 5/5. The pollo asada, though was greasy and heavy and somewhat bland. This taco was a 3/5. The nachos were horrible. The ingredients tasted like they were made yesterday or even the day before. There was what appeared to be black beans that were placed in the corner of my to go container, and when I went to put the fork into the black beans it wouldn't even go into the black beans. The chips and everything was stuck together. It was disgusting. read more

I really enjoyed the tacos from OneTaco. I tried the pollo asado and carne asada and they were SO good! I'd almost describe them as melt in your mouth. Super flavorful and tender meats. The prices for most everything were really reasonable and the food came out pretty quickly. read more

A must-stop if you are in Austin. I've been dreaming about their avocado sauce ever since I left the city, and I need to make my way back to have some again. I always try and explore as many culinary options as I can when I visit a new city, but in my two days in Austin, I came here twice. It's so easy to stop by and stuff your face with a few tacos that you can't say no. I gotta say, these tacos are probably worse for my health than any others I've had in my life. No, it's not because I was eating 4 at a time, but rather the extreme amount of cheese and sauce on each one. I consider myself to have a high threshold for lactose efficiency, but even I was worried for my intestinal track after demolishing these mozzarella-stick tacos. We went here at 9:00am on a Monday for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Every selection we ordered was fresh and tasty. The chorizo is seasoned to perfection, the eggs are light and delish, and being on the corner of 6th street gave a wonderful destination to start our day. We googled for good taco places and this popped up. It was awesome. I tried the Gringa, Chicken Taco and Bandera. Bandera was my favorite, they are priced $3-4. You need two, but three was too much. These tacos are big and legit. The guys working the truck were so friendly too. It is nestled behind/beside Little Woodrow's. An easy walk if you are hopping around West 6th, or staying at he Wyndham. I ordered the chicken taco. There was so much chicken, and they put some kind of sauce on it that was so delicious. The vegatarian taco wasn't much but bean dip in a tortilla, which in a chip, happens to be amazing. The avocado salsa is so good!!!! We were hanging out at Little Woodrow's and got hungry, so we went to One Taco to get tacos! The food truck accepts credit cards, and has your food ready in a few minutes. They have breakfast tacos in the morning, as well as dinner and steak tacos in the afternoon and evening. I had the pork taco and steak taco, both were good. They are not too large, so if you are really hungry, I would suggest ordering at least 3 tacos. Even though the food truck is called one taco, you really need more than one taco. read more
