"Can't you see I work here? It's because you're wearing that hat. I'm a nice guy! Men and women need each other," but he got louder, closer, and more intimidating. He would not let me leave, physically blocking the door. I had to threaten to call the police to escape. I was alone. I have been coming here for more than 10 years for gas, lottery tickets and air for my tires. I noticed my tire pressure was low and came by to fill up with air which gas stations charge for no problem. Years ago air was free, I go to get my digital tire pressure gauge out of my vehicle and see it's flashing so the battery must need changing. I go to the person that I always speak with and ask if I can "borrow" a tire pressure gauge and he responds "no problem, 3 dollars"! I said I just need to borrow it to check one tire. He then asks me how I will check the tire in the future. I show him my digital gauge and say I will change the batteries, you are a full service gas station that does repairs. I said it's not the $3, it's the principle. I said you are going to lose a good customer who has been coming here for years. He said "that's ok". I said no problem here is your $3, I will never come back, never refer anyone to come to you for gas or repairs, and tell everyone I know not to come here. While writing this I realized they are probably not reporting taxes properly because the gauge was $3, I did not pay tax, and did not get a receipt. I hope the New York City Department of Finance looks into that as well. Either way by some of the other reviews that mention discrimination and rude treatment I would recommend you go to the BP station on 4 Ave and 92 Street just a few blocks away. Gas is at least 65 cents cheaper a gallon as they charge almost $4 per gallon. I will never be back here no batter what.

A couple of months ago I hired these crooks to fix my CV boot and replace the control arm and ball joint so I can pass my vehicle inspection. Apparently the Control Arm was screwed in only THREE threads. 2mm of grip on my control arm was all that they felt was necessary to keep me safe. After paying them over $1000 in repairs, not only did they do poor work, they stole my engine mounts and my power steering pump and replaced these parts with cheap aftermarket knockoffs. This wasn't noticed until yesterday when my new mechanic said that there were issues with my power steering because the previous repair used cheap parts-I NEVER REPAIRED MY POWER STEERING PUMP NOR ASKED IT TO BE REPLACED, yet it's missing. And the only ones under the hood were these guys. The sad reality is that suing these guys won't give me any satisfaction or replace what they stole. They almost got me killed yesterday. Instead I would rather tell you to not do business with these guys. It's one thing to overprice repairs, but to steal original car parts and perform repairs that leave people's lives at risk is Criminal. If you value your life and your families, don't go here. They will kill you.

Kirk's prices are somehow 30% higher, he doesn't get done what he promises and comes off as a sleazy character in general. I avoid him when I come in.
