These guys are the best. They know how to run a business and provide friendly, patient, helpful customer service. They know how to fix cars, make them look great, good as new. They promised they could do the job, and overdelivered, ahead of schedule. My car was big time damaged by an idiot driver. I searched "body shop" on the internet. AB collision had the most reviews (like 155) and the highest number of stars (like 4.9 out of 5). and a hundred reviews written about them by separate people said they have expert and experienced people who know how to take apart a car and put it back together again with excellent parts. They arranged for the car rental guy to be ready there waiting for me. They kept me up to date on the repairs. Most importantly, my car is back better than before These guys are awesome! Every single one of them! Would definitely do business with them again, without a doubt. Now... if I could just get them to do elective work to put a body kit on my car :/ read more

We used them twice, a rear end collision on my wife's Subaru and a deer strike to the front of a Toyota. Both times they were quick with the fix, the Subaru turned out better. I had to go back for a second bumper clip for the Toyota and it still was aligned slightly off. For the most part it's good enough, as it's been over a year without issues. They do a great job matching paint, I can't tell a difference between the front and back bumpers. As for parts, they go cheap when quality after market ones are unavailable, due to our insurance companies contract. More recently I needed a new front grill, which I purchased an OEM independently. They looked at the front of the car and said it needed a bumper, grill and a few other parts and paint for slightly over $1,000. Also, I would need to sign a waiver to skip calibrating collision sensor. I ended up taking it to a mechanic, and they replaced the grill for $70. Because no one disassembled the entire front, they nor I could prove the status of the inside arms of the bumper. Even if they are damaged, it's still holding, which is good enough. The plastic on the bumper was flimsy to begin with and the position looks the same as the photos taken when they finished the original repair. For now, I consider it completed and my cruise control has stopped flaking out at high speed. In this case I received a quote from the methodology that makes them respected for handling repairs, but it was not what I wanted to do. read more

Stay away from this business if you ever get into an accident. They will charge insurance a high number on the repairs and put aftermarket parts on the vehicle. Not only do they do that but will cut corners. For instance o a moulding on my car during g the repair process had broke off when they were removing it and to fix it rather than being responsible for it they decide to glue on the part instead of replacing it. How I found out about it I showed my new autobody guy the reciept he said they just removed and installed. So more than likely during the process they broke the clips off and glued it back on. The clips on the part weren't there to begin with it was gone. Also they lied to me saying they have the clips and the parts to fix it. All they did was glue it back again. A small part that they dont want to be responsible to replace cause of their negligence they decide to glue it back on charge a high number and make profit. They refuse to take responsibility for the damage they did and refuse to fix it but just re glue that part. Lied to me from the front and till the end. They make a lot of money charge a high number and give you cheap solutions and cheap parts read more

A&B Collision Center at Hannah Street, Staten Island is the auto shop I have been having auto services with for more than five years. This month I had my most recent services there again. I have been impressed with the consistency of their high quality services. The employees are very professional, respectful, and considerate. They know your concerns and address them directly. The warranty for their work gives you a peace of mind. Having to have your vehicle fixed is already annoying enough, but A&B Collision at Hannah Street makes the process pleasant. I feel lucky to find this business entity. read more

Let me start off with a hit and run is the most terrible disheartening experience, but the experience I had at A&B with my car repair was amazing. While I'm still a little PO'ed this happened, they made my drop off, rental and repair completely seamless. I dropped my car off on a Friday and had it back on that Monday, talk about customer service!!!! In all my years of driving and experiences with body shops I can tell you I NEVER had a car back this quick. The staff is friendly and courteous. Geico is onsite at this location, they're also very helpful and courteous. I would honestly come back here for any of my repair needs. Thank you A&B for making this a little less painful. read more

A&B Collision Center goes above and beyond for your repair needs. Having said that, my brother had a minor fender bender when he was hit from behind by a driver who had fallen asleep behind the wheel. He hit my brother with so much force that he thought he was hit by a truck and mind you both drivers, my brother and the other driver had kids in their cars! Well, thankfully someone from the insurance office at Statefarm recommended A&B Collision Center and we couldn't be happier. They not only fixed the car but they made it completely brand new! She looked so beautiful that it looked like it came straight out of the showroom. So we thank the staff at A&B Collision Center for providing both professional and excellent service. read more

I brought my 2020 Mercedes Benz GLC here to get fixed. With the amount of damage my car had I thought it was going to take a month to fix. They fixed my car in about 9 days and it looks brand new like nothing never happened. Also they put all OEM parts back on the car. I'm very satisfied with the work they did and I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a great job done in fair amount of time. read more

Problem#1 - I had to call them for an update on the status of my car, after hearing absolutely nothing for days (dropped the car off on a wed nite, at closing and called first thing mon morning because they are closed on the weekends). Problem#2 - The manager named Aly Dean, spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner, when I called to inquire about MY car. Not their car, MY car. I told the manager that when I dropped off the car, I was told that someone would contact me to let me know what needed to be done to the car. The manager told me that he has never heard of anyone making a phone call to let the customer know what needed to be done and that they had already completed most of the work. Would never bring my car or any other car back to this place or recommend this garage to anyone. read more

extremely slow doing business, they take forever to give repair estimate and repair the car! i would not go there if it weren't for my insurance company! the one in veterans road is more professional and so quick! read more

I had to call them for an update on the status of MY CAR parts after hearing absolutely nothing for many days. The customer service staff is very rude, it's like you bothering them instead of being grateful that you are giving them business. Also, the manager spoke to me in a very NASTY manner, CHALLENGING and CONDESCENDING way. I don't recommend you use this place at all, specially if you are woman. Take your car somewhere else, there are many auto body shops that are willing to treat their customers with RESPECT and they are very GRATEFUL for your business with them. read more

When Geico sent us here, they did a great job. Then when we were ready to trade in our car, it had a few dings and issues. They did another great job, reasonably priced. I was involved in an accident with my Jeep. It was a very stressful situation. As soon as I walked in the shop I felt like my stress level totally dropped. I was treated so kind by Kelly and Kim. The repairs done to my car or unbelievable. They did such a good job, the car looks better now than before the accident. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Please do not hesitate to bring your car here for any repair. Please see my before and after pics as well. They really did an awesome job, and fixed all the mechanical issues as well perfectly. They have a Geico person there most of the times, which is another stress reliever. I am so thankful for the shop, and will refer all of my family and friends there if needed. read more

This body shop is amazing. They repaired my old 2008 car after it was involved in an accident. The insurance company determined it was a total loss and the quote that was given to make the repairs was more than the insurance company offered. They lowered their estimate to cover the damages in full and returned the car in excellent shape much faster than was originally promised. They even threw in a new set of hub caps! Who does that? Everyone was Very courteous on the phone and the entire experience was very smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs body shop work. Thank you for providing awesome service in my neighborhood ;) read more

After being side swiped by a van, the dent to my back door and the large smear along the side of my car needed repair. I told the auto insurance agent that I wanted A & B Collision to repair it, based on their excellent reputation in the community. A & B exceeded expectations with their professional and well organized way of handling my transactions and the repair of my car. They work in tandem with the insurance companies and Enterprise car rental agency, which made my experience in their office easier than expected. I was told that my car repair would be done in 10 days, but it was ready in 7. The car looks good as new! And, I was very grateful to see that they buffed the scratches off the back fender (a very kind act on their part), vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior. I highly recommend A & B for all body repair work and thank everyone there for their excellent and trust worthy work. Drive safely! read more

It was my first time at this shop. First of all when arranging my appointment they were very professional. My appointment was for 8am I arrived at 7:30am and not only were they open but the owner Omar Mostafa himself came out, introduced himself, and let me into the office which I must say for a repair shop was very clean and very comfortable. His staff was so very professional and welcoming. Omar assessed my concerns on my vehicle and took it in to get repaired. Before I realized it not only was my car finished I had been there a total of 15 minutes. With service and professionalism like that why go anywhere else? They've gained a new customer for life. Thanks A&B collision. Eddie Yamaki read more

I was involved in an accident and I had to get my bumper repaired. It was small dents from the license plate with few scratches. I walked into A&B Collision off Bay St to get an estimate and was warmly greeted right away. From there, one of the guys took pictures of my car, which I was able to see them through my insurance App, got an estimate and had a rental car set up through Enterprise. Prior to leaving A&B Collision, I had asked the employee if I can have the car ready in 2 days for LDW. Without hesitation, he said he can. They had Enterprise meet me with the rental car there, went through a few documents and I was out and about in 30 minutes. I was very pleased with my rental car provided considering I wasn't expecting it. They called on the day I requested and I was happy with the results. There was no difference in paint color, no scratches. My bumper was sanded and repainted. You can feel where the damage was and could slightly see the unevenness in certain lighting however I am pleased with the results and would recommend this body shop to anyone. Thank you for the work, amount of time and the professional, quick and courteous staff they had. read more

We got rear ended at a stop light at 0510, so couldn't really see the extent of damage. My wife was sent to the hospital and while I waited I took care of the paperwork I needed to do. Brought the car in later in the day, met up with Ahmed and we went over the car. A rental car was ordered for me and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Fast forward to FOUR business days later and we get our car back pristine. There was a small hiccup on delivery day and we thought maybe re programming would be needed but they found the issue and again, we were out of there relatively quickly. That's my only quibble, but it was corrected so it really isn't an issue. Everyone there treated us with respect and seemed to be eager to find the root cause of our hiccup and for this, I'm grateful and satisfied. Thank you A&B! read more
