This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I called AAA at 10:30 in the morning and they dispatched AAA-One Stop Towing come and pick me up. The original time was three hours then it was another two then it was another two after that 10 hours I was sitting there waiting for those idiots to show up, this is the worst company ever don't do business with them. They're liars and their cheats. They don't even deserve that one star. While I was on the phone with AAA, the driver said that he was on scene and he was nowhere to be found the supervisor from AAA called the company and the driver didn't even pick up the phone so I guess the driver got caught in a lie . DONT GET TOWED to there Facility, it's a Shell Gas Station. If you have AAA you have the right to be towed to a facility of choice. Under no circumstances do not get towed to these liars and crooks. For the Last 10 plus years I have AAA, whenever I have an issue- one stop shell is sent out if I'm in the area. They have towed me numerous times. I can not say enough good things about them, super professional, drivers are super helpful and courteous- they treat my car as if its their own. They Always come faster then the allowed time for tow. Great guys. Last year I got stuck in Staten island and another towing company had to come- they brought a tow truck and I specifically asked for a flatbed- and had to wait for another company- I wished it was 1 stop shell I would never have had that issue and waiting 3 hours. I was denied service for unknown reasons when it was an emergency tow. The city wound up impounding my car and seizing it for illegal parking bc I lost all brakes. And one stop fixed it last year. Thanks one stop for costing me thousands and thousands to get my car back when one stop didn't want my car at their shop. I found a really good shop who got the business. I went in for an inspection yesterday and was told it would be a long wait. I was advised to arrive first thing in the morning and I would be taken first and would be done within the hour. As I arrived the next morning a gentleman pulled in with me and as I expected, the gentleman ran up to the manager claiming to be first and then had a "hush-hush" conversation with him and was taken prior to me....for an inspection! Then according to the manager I had to wait for the inspection machine to "cool down", causing another half hour wait. I couldn't help but feel I was overlooked and placed second solely because I was a female. The management of this place is disrespectful and rude. If I could give 0 stars I would but I can't so we'll settle for 1 star. I dropped my car off at 10 am for an oil change and to change a few lights that were out and I was told to come back at 5 pm it will all be done by then 100%. I arrive at 4:30 the car hasn't been touched and he told me we have been backed up and couldn't get to it. They didn't have the decency to call me and tell me this they made me wait 7.5 hours to find out. Absolutely ridiculous. On top of it I'm asking if he can change the lights at least and I constantly got brushed off by them so instead of me losing my cool I just left and decided to write this review. Lazy and nasty dispatch. Called AAA they sent these jerks. Service guy didn't check the battery sat in driver seat pushed a start button and said bad fuel. Couldn't tow the car. When called Lexus they called these jerks again. I was really upset. Dispatch insinuated I lied and his lazy service guy didn't and called me nasty over radio to the next service guy, from that comment he wasn't enthusiastic about helping. Did he want me to be peaches and cream for waiting in the car for a boost from 4pm to 1am? They accepted the job and made me wait for hours. When called, back aaa sent Another company, came in 20 min. When Lexus ordered the service these jerks came in 10min. If calling For a tow tell them not to send them. Got my car towed to this auto shop because it was qualified by AAA. Turns out my alternator died out on me. Like promised, I dropped off my car and picked it up the day after. Opened up my hood and checked beneath the car: - Missing clips that held plastic covers in. - Broken clips that held plastic covers in. - Paper scraps still attached to the alternator and some falling to other places near the alternator - Missing screw holding up the skid plate. - Skid plate forced into position, threads on the screws were a bit damaged. This is a prime example of lazy and poor workmanship. I understand that you try your best to fix as many cars in a day as possible but this is just unacceptable. To top it all off, they asked for almost 40% above MSRP for an alternator they had in stock. The price of labor was reasonable. WARNING!!! WARNING!! Wishing my experience was as good as some of the other reviews. Our Lincoln completely died on Emmons Avenue Bklyn and needed to be towed to closest Lincoln Dealer in Staten Island. We got them thru Lincoln who uses AAA who contracts to One Stop. Needless to say, One Stop NEVER showed up. My husband spoke to them on 4 different occasions within 4 different times they were going to show up, 6:13, 7:05, 7:35 And then 8:33, and needless to say, NEVER showed!! The sarcastic dispatcher was very nasty on the phone, said the job was canceled. I guess the contracted flat fee wasn't worth their time. We will be contacting NYC DCA, and a complaint is already in with AAA. I will repost on all my media accounts as well as with my Bay Ridge family/friends and the Knights of Columbus my husband is part of on the same block This is a narrative of my personal experience with this company. UPDATE: This is an update to my previous post. Today my husband received a call from One Stop Shell Towing Company from one of the owners, Sandy. He was apologetic about what happened and promised he would get to the bottom of what happened and asked my husband to stop by if he was in the neighborhood. I also received a message from the other owner, Tommy, who like Sandy was apologetic and promised the same. Although I do stand by all I wrote as to the events that unfolded, I also feel that these two reaching out to both of us early on a Monday morning showed the professionalism with which they operate their business. If I could give zero stars, I would. AAA assigned One Stop to tow my car and they cancelled my request instantly without explanation. Unfortunately, I kept getting reassigned to this company via AAA. The next day I was finally able to get someone from One Stop to come out to tow my car. Upon hearing the destination of my tow, the driver refused to tow my car and suggested I submit another request through AAA. Again assigned for One Stop, they said they could have another driver come out in THREE hours. Because of this, I went physically to One Stop to see what was up and when I arrived the tow dispatcher was ASLEEP on the job. Being this was a AAA recommended shop i expected alot and got very little. Started out with leaving my vehicle to get diagnosed for an intermittent problem. As soon as it wasn't something they could plug and play and fix I had to leave the car.after all they are a diagnostic specialist and it's just a V6 Buick .so after not hearing from them, for most of the day I call and the shop is closed and a smug gas attendant acted like I should read their minds. Sunday closed fine. Monday I call and get more attitude almost like hey we don't want your business.So I go and pickup my vehicle. Pay for the diagnostic. Basically if your in business and can't take the time to road test a car and listen to customer input or take their questions you shouldn't be in business. Problem is these days Cars are too complicated to properly Diagnose if they can't just plug up a scan tool and read a printout. Plus if you only want to work on high end cars as I saw at this place post a sign I'll find somewhere else to respect my time,vehicle and my money. This is what you get nowadays from "mechanics" that actually have to work.smug attitudes and sorry service. If this is what AAA calls service I'll only be using AAA them for tows and battery jumps. Gus who works at One Stop is amazing! I fortunately got him to come jump my car when I called AAA. He not only jumped my car, he filled my tires and even washed off smudges on my window. When my car died again, it turned out to the alternator, he came back and helped me out. He followed me to the mechanic and explained to them what was going on. Took my old CR-V to this place because it was walking distance away, and because I've been getting gas from here for a few years now. Engine needed a tuneup and several new small parts. Everything was done in a timely fashion and the engine hasn't misfired since. Their rates are market rate, so don't worry about being ripped off. I've been taking my minivan to this place for about ten years for various repairs. They have always been very accommodating and did the work quickly and competently for a reasonable price. And, bonus, the B1 bus is a few blocks away, comes really often, and stops near where I live. Bigger bonus: they are an AAA towing place, so someone is there 24/7 and you can pick your car up at any time. After talking about the problems needing fixing with the manager Rudy I've left it there after regular business hours as well. If you call AAA for a tow in this area of Brooklyn they will who do it. You can then trust them to fix it. I don't know if they would be up to finding a software glitch in the infotainment system on your BMW 7 series, but for the normal mechanical stuff - brakes, AC, fuel injection, maintenance etc. they do a great job. read more

Good service. Tow truck drivers sent by AAA made short work of getting my dead car out of an underground parking garage. Work was done quickly while i waited, at what i believe was an average price - not inexpensive (except for AAA discount, applied...) but not feeling like a rip-off either. I urge anyone with vehicle problems to come to One Stop, Why? Let me tell you of my recent experience. My Pathfinder had a problem where it would not start without jingling the positive battery connector block. I took the car to the Nissan Dealership only several blocks away and all they could do was shrug their shoulders and look clueless at me and the car. For a while all I could do is use duck tape to hold it in place. I did this for close to a year. Pretty ridicules, so yesterday I changed the connectors myself. Unfortunately that didn't fix the problem and later the car actually shut down on me as I started to drive it. Not a good thing to experience I can tell you! This morning I had it towed to One Stop and about two hours later I get a call from Rudy who tells me the problem is fixed. Fixed!!! A problem that the Nissan guys couldn't or didn't want to resolve but were quite happy to charge me labor cost for! So I sit here with my IPA beer (in the house) and I celebrate all the guys at One Stop and if you ever wished you had a family member who was a mechanic wish no more. Received excellent and honest service here: tow truck operation (for AAA) was prompt, courteous and professional. They even went a little out of their way to drop me off at my kid's soccer game on the way to their shop. When they diagnosed the problem on my van they noticed that the problem part (fuel pump) looked new and they asked if it might be under warranty at the dealer? Yes, it was, and so they charged me a fair price to then tow to dealer, and a fair price for having looked at it.
