I noticed my tire pressure was low and came by to fill up with air which gas stations charge for no problem. Years ago air was free, I go to get my digital tire pressure gauge out of my vehicle and see it's flashing so the battery must need changing. I go to the person that I always speak with and ask if I can "borrow" a tire pressure gauge and he responds "no problem, 3 dollars"! I said I just need to borrow it to check one tire. He then asks me how I will check the tire in the future. I show him my digital gauge and say I will change the batteries, you are a full service gas station that does repairs. I said it's not the $3, it's the principle. I said you are going to lose a good customer who has been coming here for years. He said "that's ok". I said no problem here is your $3, I will never come back, never refer anyone to come to you for gas or repairs, and tell everyone I know not to come here. While writing this I realized they are probably not reporting taxes properly because the gauge was $3, I did not pay tax, and did not get a receipt. I hope the New York City Department of Finance looks into that as well. Either way by some of the other reviews that mention discrimination and rude treatment I would recommend you go to the BP station on 4 Ave and 92 Street just a few blocks away. Gas is at least 65 cents cheaper a gallon as they charge almost $4 per gallon. I will never be back here no batter what.

The intersection area, in particular, is always crowded as well. There have been times I've had to wait for multiple light changes to leave. They have a convenience store to get a snack or coffee unlike the one at the 11th Avenue BP. However, since I only visit for gas, I prefer the 11th Avenue BP. They also have self-cleaning and air pump machines. They also never have receipt paper at the gas pump machines. I am someone who would like a receipt, so I end up always having to go inside to ask.

I always notice the gas prices around my area and this BP beats all unless my other gas station beats it which happens from time to time. Going into this location is hit or miss.. there's a police prescient next door so during shift changes it's packed with officers getting their snacks for their shift. I've never had a bad experience with customer service here, all the employees seem friendly and approachable. I should note I only have ever come here in person during the afternoon so idk how it is at night or early morning. In person, coffee is usually fresh I've never had a bad cup from here. The food is also hit or miss but it's 711 so expectations shouldn't be high anyway. The couple of times we bought taquitos they were ok. The empanadas were nastttyyy but I have a high standard for empanadas so I technically did it to myself there. But hey at least I can say I tried it!
