Great experience working with MileHi HVAC to have a whole-home humidifier installed in my house…read more From Shaun guiding us through the different options available (on a weekend, nonetheless) to Steven and Angel performing a clean install and providing us all of the information we need to know on how to use it, our experience was great. The air quality in the house has improved tremendously with the AprilAire system that was installed. Hope to have them back for future HVAC needs.

I had a good experience with this company the first time I used them; however, my second experience…read morewas quite the opposite. I paid a total of $200 for a 10 minute job that consisted of two small pieces of tape. The trip fee was $125 which I was fine with, but the extra $75 for two pieces of tape was excessive and unreasonable. When I called to ask about it, I was met with a dismissive tone telling me that was a great price for two pieces of tape. She then said the technician stated he was there for 3 hours when he was only there for 10 minutes. She then told me she'd talk to the boss and get back to me. That never happened, so I followed up a week later only to be told, it was a flat rate and that's the price. This was a frustrating experience from the price and customer service aspect. I asked twice for the technician to call before any work was performed. That didn't happen. Then I was told I would receive a follow up call which didn't happen. I regret referring them to others.

Repeated No-Shows, Price Gouging, and Dodging Accountability - Avoid at All Costs…read more I had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience with JC Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning LLC in Colorado, and I want to help others avoid a similar situation. I hired JC Mechanical to replace about 2 feet of damaged dryer duct in my home. They quoted $3,283, claiming it would require disassembling and reassembling a large section of my HVAC system in the utility room, with at least 8 hours of labor and expensive parts. What actually happened: The technician cut a 12" x 12" hole in the moisture resistant drywall ceiling of a bathroom (not even in the same room as the HVAC system), installed a short piece of $15 flexible dryer duct, and finished the job in under an hour -- including the time it took to leave and buy the duct work. The HVAC system was never touched, and the bathroom ceiling was left open and unrepaired. Yet, they charged me the full $3,283 as if they had done the complex work originally quoted. That alone would be bad enough. But the experience was even worse: * They were a complete no-show to their first scheduled appointment. I stayed home all day, called and messaged their office repeatedly -- no response. * That evening, they finally called back, apologized, and rescheduled. * At the rescheduled appointment, they were several hours late -- again with no notice and no response to my calls. * After the overcharge, I called their office multiple times. I was repeatedly told the owner would call me back -- he never did. * Eventually, they blocked my phone number. * When I called from my wife's phone, they answered, again promised a call back, then blocked her number too. In my opinion, JC Mechanical: * Grossly misrepresented the scope of work to justify an inflated price, * Performed a simple, low-cost repair, and * Then avoided all responsibility once payment was received. This wasn't just poor service -- it was unethical and deceptive. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. If you do consider hiring them, get everything in writing up front, including a detailed scope of work and itemized cost breakdown. Make sure the work quoted matches what's actually done. And do not make final payment until you're fully satisfied -- because once they're paid, you may never hear from them again.

Do Not Recommend! We were sold by Jimmy that they would do a great job installing 3 new systems in…read moreour building. They said that the install is the most important part of making the system work well. We were also told that they would be there to address any issues and would never leave us hanging. The install itself took weeks to complete by techs who did not really seam to know what they were doing and the finished product shows that. All 3 of our units have frozen up and have been nothing but problems. I guess we got the "taillight warranty" because as soon as there taillights were gone, it has been crickets trying to get any of the major issues we have addressed. We have sent multiple emails, 20+ phone calls/texts with no response. The supply duct was run to our return grill and the return was run to our existing supply duct in our building but it looks like it was never actually connected. The ground package unit they installed is not level and they used external insulation on the ducts outside of the building. Not to mention the damage thy caused to the ceiling inside of our building. We have tried to give them every opportunity to remedy the issues but they refuse to get back to us in any fashion. Now we are on our own to address these issues ourselves after paying tens of thousands of dollars to have this done by "professionals". Would give zero stars if I could. Find anyone else if you want your equipment installed right and in a timely manner, or even just get a call back at all once they leave. Update as of 8/22/25: Found that the gas to our building was never turned back on. When we did try to turn the gas back on to our building we found that there is a major natural gas leak coming from the "T" fitting they installed in the main gas line. Of course, no response. This is now a major safety issue. I have reached out to BBB because at this point I feel they should not even have a license in risk of killing or seriously injuring someone.
