I read good reviews about this place so I decided to check it out! Like the other reviews…read morementioned, it can be a bit tricky to find since there's no noticeable signage for the store. Definitely look at the photos and it'll help you find the shop! Basically after you enter the building, you go down the stairs and through a long hallway. The place is a few doors down and adorned with macarons, so don't give up if you don't see it at first haha I got six macarons -- red velvet, matcha, lavender, Oreo, strawberry, and fruity pebbles. I ate the matcha, lavender, and Oreo all in one sitting woops! They were quite delicious! The macarons were frozen when I purchased them but they defrosted well and had a crunchy yet soft texture which was lovely. The flavors were also quite strong, I could really taste the matcha and lavender in the macaron filling. The Oreo macaron felt like I was eating cookies and cream ice cream! All in all, the macarons are wonderful and I definitely will return :) the owner was super kind as well! Side note: they take credit card but prefer cash!

Macaron Craft Oizumi is a hidden gem. Easily the best macarons in New York City and a must have…read more The cookies don't have flour cut in like most macaron places do, so they have a perfect, chewy/melt in your mouth consistency rather than the cakey, floury tasting macarons you get elsewhere. And the filling is AMAZING. There is so much of it (the macarons are thick), but it is light; not dense at all. The flavors are also varied and all are so good. I highly recommend the matcha and lavender flavors, but they are all good. Macaron Craft Oizumi does catering mostly, but the owner well sell you macarons from her kitchen. The macarons are cold and you need to let them sit for an hour before eating, but it is worth it. The kitchen is hard to find. It is in the basement of a building with no outside signage. Macaron Craft Oizumi is really worth visiting. You will not try a better macaron elsewhere. I promise.

So Delighted !! Boyf & I got the Pompompurin Banana Pudding, the Hello Kitty Strawberry ShortCake & a s'Mores mochi Donut. The Banana Pudding was my Fav ! So good. It was sweet & had so much banana Flavor! I'd love if there was a cake at the bottom .. The Strawberry Shortcake was so fresh & light. Not too sweet, the whipped cream frosting gave me a very nostalgic feeling. My Boyf loved the s'Mores donut !! I can't wait to go back! The young lady who took my order was so sweet and explained every macaron flavor .. she was so knowledgeable and kind! It's a small front located in the back of a lil food hall with other great food. Lots of variety !! There's limited seating but we went on a Saturday, early afternoon & were able to sit & enjoy our treats !!

I was on a mission to reach their store front before they closed for the night. I was so excited to finally get here to see the adorable and whimsical characters on display. I had previously read that you can customize an order ahead of time should you want a specific character and flavor. Coolness. My choices were partially skewed to what flavors my family and I would enjoy. But also to the cute designs. Vanilla and Chocolate Nutella was a hit with my kids. Hubby liked the lychee and I enjoyed the Black Sesame very much. I have yet to try, but I did buy the Thai Tea and Ube (Yam) flavors. Was too stuffed after dinner to sample them all. BTW, they sell Rebecca's Cake Pops as well. For those that are not familiar, Rebecca's is a mom and pop run local shop in Long Island. The pops are very artistic and trendy. They also taste great. Moist and sweet, as any cake pop should be. Do note: this storefront closes early and it's cash only for the most part. While they accept venmo, they do not accept credit cards. Dang it. Also, it's not an enclosed shop, so check their website to ensure they're open during inclement weather. It's a street stall so the folks have to brave the elements. And management, if you're reading, can you get better boxes to hold these cute confections? I was worried my macarons would not transport well and they did get moved around a bit on my commute.

There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!

The ice cream looks really good- wish i went when it was hot so I can try dark chocolate hazelnut, mocha chip, hazelnut, matcha, black sesame, pistachio, chocolate, chestnut, coffee, banana split & the fruit sorbets. I hope they have all these flavors when in spring/summer. 4/5 pistachio affogato- very strong like it's supposed to be, been wanting to try affogato for like 2yrs, never again, so strong, lol, if you can't handle espresso, I don't recommend it 3/5 rose latte- decent but there's no rose in it beside the rose petals, I don't think it should be called rose latte if the actual latte is not rose flavored 2/5 sweet potato latte- this is like a thick, slightly chunky sweet potato milk drink. No coffee/latte whatsoever, misnamed once again, I don't think anything should be called a latte if there's no coffee in it 2/5 Fresh strawberry cream donut $5.50- donut was kinda stale but the whipped cream is decent- tastes like canned whipped cream, the strawberries were decent too

Their bingsoo and gelato is pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of their doughnut. The cream was nice and light and sweet, but the donut itself was a bit stale.
