A great slot for a fast business lunch with quiet environments. The food is supersizing low price considering it is located at Cambridge.

Hungry after a delayed flight, my nine-year-old daughter and I walked to One Bite & Bar simply because it's close to our Airbnb, we wanted something fresh, and it maintains a good Yelp rating. It didn't disappoint. The space is one large room with excellent service. To feed us both, we ordered the California, shrimp tempura, and mango avocado sushi. We also got the seaweed salad, miso soup, and egg drop soup. Everything was good and full of flavor. Our entire bill was $35, which isn't bad flying in from an expensive city.

One Bite and Bar is definitely a sushi spot to check out for a fun meal in Somerville! We went on Sunday evening and it was not super busy so we got served really quickly. There's plenty of seating inside and the space has cute decorations. We ordered a few specialty rolls and tried two sushi donuts. The sushi rolls were really good and the sushi donuts were fun! I think the portions for what you pay are a bit small, however. Overall we really enjoyed checking out this spot for sushi.

Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is cute. The table could be less sticky but otherwise everything else was up to par. Food was great for some dishes, okay for other dishes. The photos used for advertising make the portion sizes look decievingly small...the portions were indeed huge. We learned after the fact that they do serve normal sizes...except when you eat ayce. They pack on the rice and make things XL when you choose ayce. So we ended up paying twice as much (which is fine because we ordered it - our fault) but a heads up on the different portion sizes would've been helpful. That was the only negative thing about this place. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience! I would 100% come back for sushi tacos and donuts.

This is seriously such an underrated gem. It's locally owned and the food is carefully made. The sushi tacos are really exquisite and I can't recommend them enough. Also the poke bowls are ENORMOUS. Also, they're doing a weekday ALL YOU CAN EAT Lunch promo for $24 that includes basically everything on the menu, which is INSANE. Anyways. 10/10

Great variety and great value, sushi is always super fresh and the garlic bok choy is our favorite in town. The staff are so hospitable. One of the places I come back to often.

I found this place through social media and all their menu items look so fun, so unique, and so new! They've got interesting sushi items such as mini sushi bowls, sushi tacos, and sushi donuts. As pleasing as it looks, all variations taste the same just in different forms. It was around $4-5 per item which is fair. The sushi tacos were the best - it was stuffed, crispy, and fun to eat. The sushi donuts just fell apart and got my hands all messy. Their menu is huge - they have hot items as well that we didn't try. Overall, this was a fun place to try and a fun place to take food pics, but it will not be a go-to spot for sushi. Service was alright. I came in and it was pretty much empty and there were no workers in sight. It was also hot, and tables were quite sticky.

This restaurant has a unique take on sushi, but I'm not sure the quality of the various dishes is worth the price. Their sushi "donuts" and temari are mostly rice with a little bit of fish on top, which makes it hard to justify the price. We also got their Fried Thumb Buns, which automatically comes with a soda. These were pretty plain without the dipping sauce. The items that were more worth the price was the poke bowl, udon, and sushi "tacos". The tacos had a lot more filling and other toppings (2 of your choice!) rather than being mostly rice. Although the food was just okay, the service was quick and the servers were nice!

    Lunch combo #4

I believe this is a relatively new place. I have been here twice and ordered lunch combo #4. It's beautiful, tastes amazing, and the value is absolutely unmatched. Service is great, easy, and fast. I highly recommend! I've only had take out but they're working on finishing the sushi bar in back and it looks like it will be a very cool space to enjoy a cocktail after work

A welcome addition to Inman Square in Cambridge, however the food is a bit underwhelming although the presentation was nice. The service was pretty good as there were only 2 tables with customers. We went during their soft opening as they've only been open 2 weeks. Later on there will be a bar in the back. It's a casual dining spot and has a gas fireplace which is nice and gives it a cozy look/feel. The food was a bit overly saucy. We ordered the mini sushi bowls, mine was salmon and my friend ordered the uni. Both had a lot of mayo and we couldn't really taste the seafood much. We tried the lamb skewers which had the usual dry chili rub as well as a thicker sauce like oyster sauce or something. We also ordered edamame which was only a little over steamed. I had the shrimp tempura udon, the udon itself was a bit mushy (overcooked) and the broth didn't have much flavor. My friend ordered the One Bite roll which he also said had too much sauce but was nicely presented. Overall for the soft opening it was okay, we'd maybe return later on to try out a few other items but not rushing back anytime soon. Always enjoy supporting local businesses.

Lunch specials are so value!! Got the sushi box and they have a lot of other options. The poke crunch salad was also really good. They have a lot of seating and the service was quick during lunch time.

Sushi quality is amazing. The staff is always super nice and accommodating. We love it here!

Stopped in here for some sushi. Ordered four salmon avocado rolls(I shared ) and they came out so quickly and they were so good. Around 6 pieces per roll and heavy on the salmon and avocado. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I have now found my new sushi restaurant and HIGHLY recommend to try if in the area!

Milk Tea is delicious!! Had take out and food is DELICIOUS! Service was exceptional. Definitely returning for a dine-in experience.

It comes with 2 bowls of miso soup, which were perfect on a cold winter night. The boat also includes a martini glass with seaweed salad, providing a refreshing, upscale palate cleanser when you need a moment's break from the fish. I was very impressed with the thick cuts for the sashimi, and the toppings on the nigiri also gave a tiny twist to the meal - while yuzu and jalapaeño are common pairings with raw fish, for example, the strawberry-on-salmon was a novel combo for me! The rolls also add appeal for any eating partners who enjoy their fish in another form. There isn't a lot of natural light/windows in the main seating area, so the lighting is dim and gives off an intimate ambiance that's perfect for a date night - no complaints about the service!

It's the perfect spot for a date night or grabbing drinks and dinner with friends. For appetizers, I highly recommend getting the 3 sampler of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail dumpling to try them all. While called dumpling, it's more like a delicious fish rice ball with special sauce. The house special udon with shrimp, scallop, and fish cake was also really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken hibachi! It's good for being hungry because it comes with soup, veggies, rice, and some shrimp. It comes with yum yum sauce which goes well with everything and a sauce for the vegetables. The service was good, we did ask our questions about appetizers and she gave good recommendations. We didn't wait too long for the food. The ambiance here is great! They have Japanese decor on all the walls including paintings of cherry blossom, koi fish, Mt. Fuji, and even flowers on the roof. Overall, the food here is really good and this is a staple restaurant that I'll keep coming back to!

The fish was super fresh, tender , and flavorful! Probably the best tuna I've had. Compared to AYCE sushi spots , you can easily taste the quality differences in taste and texture. I am always surprised at how full I am when I leave! I'm stuffed every time. There is complementary miso soup with all of the bowls I've tried, outlined below. I really loved all of the bowls I've tried but my favorites are probably the Sake Aisuru Don and Kuromon Don. I just prefer more salmon to more tuna though, and they're all very good! Food: - Sake Aisuru Don: their classic all-salmon bowl! I loved the larger cuts of salmon, and I was pleasantly surprised that even the more pulverized salmon was flavorful! - Kuromon Don: loved the yellowtail in this! Each fish comes with two pieces (except the mackerel for which there are four), and I liked the sampler style for the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and izumidai. - Maguro Toro Don: so much tuna! And all such high quality. The otoro was so fatty that it practically melted in my mouth without chewing. - Sake Maguro Hamachi Don: a mix of salmon, blue fin tuna, and yellowtail. I liked the yellowtail in this a lot and found that it stood out the most from the other two fish in this particular bowl!

The miso broth was not bad, but the miso flavor dominated the rich pork broth, so I got less of the pork flavor. The noodles were firm, but I was disappointed with the scant toppings. My bowl only had 1 thin fish cake, 3 bamboo strips, and few wood ear mushroom strings (1 star off). Even the pork piece was small, about the size of 3 bamboo strips. Most other ramen places I have been to include an abundance of toppings or even a soft-boiled egg. I guess the ramen bowl here could fill a craving, but not one I would go out of my way for. One annoying thing that happened with us is that our waiter gave us the runaround to get an advertised $1 discount with a student ID (1 star off). My son showed his student ID and then the waiter said we have to download their app too. I downloaded it, but then he said the app account needs to be in my son's name. I then changed the account to my son's name and showed him. Then the waiter said the email needs to be his school email address. Eh, nowhere on Earth does a *restaurant* marketing app requires a student's school email address. Then he started asking if my son goes to college or high school, and that he needs to clear with his manager if a high school ID is okay. At this point, it just seems like he was trying to make things extra difficult for us. He eventually said he got "permission" from his manager to apply the $1 discount for my son's high school ID. Good Lord -- this is not worth it at this point and left a negative impression about the establishment.
