When my husband went to pick it up, it looked and worked like a brand new ipad ! They fixed all the mistakes DannyPC had made. I've had to exhaustively research repairing screens, since even as an adept computer repair person, cell phones are a class of their own. Beyond soldiering, the cell phone industry is a complex pipeline of suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors. The price they repaired my screen for was much less expensive than competitors' offers online for the same service: a factory-original screen and replacement within your device. I was not willing to save $40 and possibly lose a week with my phone. I was not willing to find a factory-original screen, disassemble my device, and move anything if I needed to. And, I was not able to consider shopping around for more than just screens, but waterproof adhesives that match my unit or shaping a generic to do the same. The familiar tech (Jas.) who has fixed my phones many times when scheduled, will fix it within a few hours, or one hour in my case. Did you get all that? No? Then take your phone to these people and they'll deal with it. Samsung is one of the vendors, unlike Apple™, that can offer direct purchases of original replacements (OEM?) for their devices. (Plus, Samsung has Samsung So-Fi, which made anti-Racist commitments all throughout the 2020s.) I only brought my phone for repairs before because I had phone insurance that covered it. Having had quality service two times before the third really helped ring it in: how are they managing the complex smartphone supply chain???? But they are, and making repairs. I'm assuming they'd do more than Android as well. It is absurd how long it took to fix both of the laptops and I say "fix" very sparingly. One of them is much slower and the camera no longer works and the other is incredibly slow and will not load anything. If I wasn't already so fed up with the place I would bring them back to get fixed again but enough damage was already done. I was very understanding at first but they went ahead and ordered different parts for each laptop just because they felt like it. Nobody contacted me to see if I was okay with what was ordered and what part was going into which laptop. I was never kept updated, I was always the one calling them asking for updates and almost every time I called "the person who works on them isn't here so I don't have an update". It was some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They didn't care about whether or not I was pleased with my experience. I will not go back to this place for anything. 2 months later, a lot of money, & both of my macs are not anywhere near fixed the way they should be. I am not one to post reviews but I mentioned how unsatisfied I was and, again, they did not care in the slightest. Proven Data Recovery was able to recover ALL of my work. Every folder. Every file. Amazing. A bit pricey, but then most data recovery services are. I didn't have anything on the drive that couldn't eventually be recreated, but recovering the drive saves me lots and lots of work. The turn-around time was outstanding, and there was continuous communication. No work progresses unless you say it does, and there is no charge if they cannot recover your drive.
