I asked to change the plastic cover protecting my cell phone screen, and after they had done it, they charged me $50! For something that costs $5 in Amazon. They should list the prices or at least warn costumers. Horrible read more

I just had the worst customer service experience! My daughter had her iPad screen replaced and an expensive screen protector put on here about 4 months ago. I bring it in today because she needs a new screen protector. Well turns out there is a huge crack UNDER the screen protector. The one that is advertised to not break even with being hit by a hammer etc. false advertisement for sure. So not only did THEIR screen protector break, but THEIR screen as well. This is not the first screen protector I've had to fix with them either, my husbands began lifting only a short time after putting it on. They proceed to tell me they are going to give me the screen protector for $15 then. NO. I'm not giving you any more of my money. So he says he will give me the screen protector for free. Well sure now we have a covered screen but the cracks underneath are there. They refused to stick by their product. Even compared it to hitting a piñata. It could break or not. So I speak to the owner and he says he can replace the screen but for $80. Are you out of your mind ?! I'm not giving you another dime of my money. They will not be getting any service from me anymore ever. I urge everyone to watch out or steer clear of this retailer. read more

I went and had my battery replaced on my iPhone. because it was over heating. They replaced it and the phone doesn't recognize the battery and over heats worse than before. Than later that day I go to use my back camera and its no longer working. when I was using it right before I took it to them. I go back the first chance I get because it was a work week (2days later). they claim they didn't do it and that they didn't touch my camera. I got water on it. and wanted to charge me for something they broke. read more

An IPhone should be fixed by certified technician. Otherwise you learn your lesson like I did spend a lot of money to have a broken phone and frustration when you are told nothing is actually covered, the guarantee is bogus. Not sure how the business is allowed in the mall. Upsetting. read more

I cracked my screen on my IPhone 7 plus, and didn't want to pay the $170 to get it replace from Apple. They charge me less then apple to get it replace. I regret it. The screen they replace is probably some cheap screen from China. Right after I received it, I already knew something was off. Some of the color seem washed out. It's dull compare the the oem screen. And the screen wasn't that bright. But that wasn't a big issue for me. The big issue was the screen was not responsive as it use to be. Sometimes the screen isn't working. So I brought it back to them and the replace it without much question. After they replace it, I thought it would be fixed. But it didn't. So I'm guessing it wasn't the installer but the quality suck on the screen. For those who want to be cheap like me and get your cracked screen replace from a third party for cheap; BEWARE THAT THOSE QUALITY on the screen is not that great. Lesson learned. And never going back to a third party anymore. I rather pay the $170, to get a oem screen that actually work and responsive. read more

Long review coming!!!! Stolen phone.... So. I purchased an iPhone 6S Plus from an electronic store in Holyoke. It worked great, no problems...for WiFi. It turned out the phone was locked to T-Mobile so I had to find somewhere to unlock it for me. This was the fourth place I came, after being recommended here by the Verizon workers of the Holyoke Mall. I went there one day and long story short the guy said he could unlock it for me, great! But it would take at least 3 days. I had a working phone so I didn't really care. Three days pass and no call from the guy. Went to the mall about a week and a half later and he said "I need to talk to you." He then proceeded to look all around for what I was assuming was my phone. He then tells me my phone was STOLEN OFF THE COUNTER. He apologized over and over but what good would that do? The cost to unlock the phone was 160. He pulled out a bag of 'brand new phones' and offers me an iPhone 7Plus for 240 because that's as low as he'd go. I explained to him I'm a new mom who has no income and I couldn't do that. He was really annoying me at this point so he said he'd install a glass screen protector and give me a case free. I said yes just to get out of there. I should NOT have paid as much as I did, THEY had my phone stolen. 100% not going back there to fix a phone again!! read more

Update: the update is worse than the original review, just a week after the repair now the phone randomly powers off and yes it's related to the repair and no I won't bring it back to argue with the owner where he tells me it was something else wrong with it. Please do not go here/ read more

I had an I phone that would not charge. Apple could see me in 2 hours. I was going away and needed it now ! I stopped by this place in the mall and the owner Barry told me he could fix it no problem. Within 15 minutes it was fixed and working. The bad news was he charged me $135 for the repair. The screen protector was cracked on the edges and the phone itself was quite scratched up. Please be smart and steer clear of this business. read more

Don't waste your time and money with these people. They do shoddy work and don't stand behind their repairs. My repair broke in less than 24 hours due to bad workmanship. They refused to fix it and accused me of dropping it. Charlatans! read more

Scalpers and scammers. One of their services is putting on screen protectors. Well they can't even do that right - 25 dollars to put on a protector and there's still bubbles that form after you're already gone. Go on Amazon and get the same or better quality protectors in 2 or 3 packs and do it yourself. read more

WARNING: Do not do business here. They sell $5 parts for $50 and offer no refunds. Don't make the same mistake I did. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Very cheap quality! I had two screens break within weeks apart after getting my phone fixed here and I had a screen protector that was purchased through them on both incidents. Not only was the screen super cheap but it was also weirdly sensitive. One of the times the screen cracked just by being in my purse. I paid well over $200 with both trips. I ended up going to icircle in Agawam and got a better deal and a better quality screen. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Stay away read more

I found a cell phone protector skin that fit my phone and I asked the sales person the cost and she told me it was $7.25. I thought that was a reasonable price so I told the sales girl I will take it. When checking out she asked me if I wanted paper or email receipt and I told her an email receipt would be fine and I left the store. A few hours later the receipt came through to my email and they charged me $26.56 for the cell protector. I quickly called the number on the receipt to tell them of the mistake and the person I spoke to said "We do not sell cases for $7.25" I said "well that is what the girl stated as a price and I would have never purchased this item for that price". He say to bring the protector back to the store and they would refund my money. I went back to the store the next day for the refund and the sales person told me that they do not give refunds. I tried to nicely explain that it was their mistake and that I was promised a refund. The person behind the counter became extremely disrespectful and indifferent to my request. I could feel myself starting to get angry and thought it best to leave the situation before I lost my temper with this unprofessional and discourteous employee. Buyer beware and if you do plan to use this company make sure you use a charge card so you can dispute any dishonest transaction. read more

Though my phone was imperfect when I brought it in, it left with MORE problems than it came with-- irreparable damage. After an alluring price ($110 for a screen replacement on an LG G5) and short time commitment (30-40 mins), I went to retrieve my phone. The screen was slightly raised on top, and after inquiring about it to the owner's employee, she tried to press it back in. Unfortunately, this led to her cracking the (brand new!) screen. The owner (who fixed my phone) insisted that it was uncracked and unraised when he was done with it (which is unlikely since I don't know how the screen would raise itself). Bottom line, I had to take another hour somewhere else to replace my screen since this was Shatter & Case's last screen in stock. At the new place, they told me that I was MISSING PIECES in my phone. When I called the owner (after mishearing me multiple times due to the newly missing ear piece), he denied the existence of it ever being there and didn't offer to fix the problem he created at all. He was obviously careless if he didn't even notice that the screen was raised in the first place, so I don't trust that the piece was missing before. I did not have volume or hearing problems before I brought it to Shatter & Case to be fixed, and the piece I'm missing can't be purchased separately. Consider yourself warned of their poor investment in your final product! read more
