After much back and forth, the chat guy said that while it was working, he could not diagnose the problem. Well how the heck could he diagnose it if it wasn't working?!? So then I turned to MacCoy - my first experience with them. Brought it in, and Brandon quickly diagnosed it as a power supply problem, as evidenced by the green light at the back going out. The Dell chat guy never mentioned that. With that diagnosis, we were able to have Dell send a replacement to MacCoy. It was in warranty, so I was only charged for a minimum amount of service time - well worth it! Bottom line - if I ever needed another computer I would go directly to them for. And for any future service that might be needed.
