I dropped off 2 macbook airs on July 27th. I just finally picked up the last one today, September…read more18th. It is absurd how long it took to fix both of the laptops and I say "fix" very sparingly. One of them is much slower and the camera no longer works and the other is incredibly slow and will not load anything. If I wasn't already so fed up with the place I would bring them back to get fixed again but enough damage was already done. I was very understanding at first but they went ahead and ordered different parts for each laptop just because they felt like it. Nobody contacted me to see if I was okay with what was ordered and what part was going into which laptop. I was never kept updated, I was always the one calling them asking for updates and almost every time I called "the person who works on them isn't here so I don't have an update". It was some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They didn't care about whether or not I was pleased with my experience. I will not go back to this place for anything. 2 months later, a lot of money, & both of my macs are not anywhere near fixed the way they should be. I am not one to post reviews but I mentioned how unsatisfied I was and, again, they did not care in the slightest. I did not bring my laptops there to pay all of this money to get then back in even worse conditions than they were before. Unacceptable and I do not recommend this place.

He also went (far) beyond the estimated three hours work time and did not charge more than the quoted price. He picked up my parts and brought the finished work back. For the bad: This took a full month for what normally would be an hour. Part of it was the motherboard having an issue and it taking him a couple days to get a new one. The big problem, though, was he did not notice a loose connection, and it took outside help for him to find it. Because of the connection issue, he could not turn on the machine at all. He also put in an air cooler to my new rig when I asked for a water one (the AIO water I got was too big). I have had heat issues in the past, you see. I also had bad RAM, and he put in two 8 gigs, rather than the 16s I had requested. Maybe that's on me. Two eights is 16 gigs, but I meant that I had two 16s, topping out at 32 gigs. All in all, barring the time, Cloudlinks did a good job. I have my PC back, and so far it's working well.
