I also signed up to have our two phones back with T-Mobile and wasn't told about certain charges that you incur from switching. I have returned and talked a two managers and was told I would have an answer in the next few days. So far 5 days and no call. Will return Tuesday and maybe get some answers. It's not right that you're not told the whole story about different fees and charges when you sign up. I am really disappointed after receiving a bill for over $250.00.

I had no cell service or GPS when I went to work Saturday morning and I was stressed out. I went to this store and Thomas G. helped me. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite and amiable. In a short time, I was connected to my new Verizion service. He explained a couple things I needed to do by downloading the MyVerizion app, which I did. Thanks to Tom's excellent customer service, my anxiety dissolved and I walked out of the store being able to use all my cell features. We contacted Cliff at American Business Telephone, who came to Trumbull with Howard to educate us and show us equipment. We have been computerized since 1982, but were not up to speed with VOP. They explained everything we needed to know in an easy to understand way. We hired American Business Telephone to rewire our shop for both our computer and telephone networks as well as purchase/install our new telephone system. We could not have been happier and would HIGHLY Recommend them for all your communication and network needs. Cliff is especially readily available after hours to solve any problems or answer any questions. We had an outage with had nothing to do with our inside phone systems, but rather a problem with our T1 line outside the building. Cliff spent hours trying to find a solution and placed many calls to our T1 provider who Cliff had no association with. What other company would do that? I mentioned to Cliff our children were going to be in Europe for the Summer at school and Cliff told me that their smart phone can connect via the internet into our VOP over with the IPitomy telephone system to save on calls in the USA. I contacted AT&T on December 27th due to a problem that we were having with our service. After…read moretalking to the customer service representative, it was determined that we needed an updated box since we have had the same receiver box since 2010. An appointment was set up for Monday December 31st. We received a phone call on Sunday night stating that the appointment would have to be cancelled as the technician did not have a receiver box (which I believe is necessary for any Direct TV customer) and the earliest they could come was Thursday, Jan. 3rd. We continued to have problems with the sound on our receiver (which was the original problem that caused us to purchase a new television) We contacted customer service again and the earliest appointment we can get is Monday January 7th. After spending over 300 dollars for a new television and missing work as they did not call until the night before to cancel we are told that we will have to wait a week and a half to resolve this problem. I feel that it is poor customer service as we called on December 27th and they set us up as a priority and got an appointment within 2 days and then appointment cancelled the night before. We missed work and when calling customer service stating that they could not help us even though the equipment that they supposedly was out of was a common piece of equipment that any customer needs. After being a customer for over 20 years I feel that is is a disgrace as to how they treat their long standing customers

They are desperate to keep customers. For the past few years, we simply call, attempt to cancel (and we are honestly attempting to cancel) and they cut the price for the next year substantially. It's really kind of sad. Since AT&T has gotten involved the service has gone from bad to worse. The only reason we keep it around is for the NFL Sunday Ticket. If you're considering Directv, I'd say don't bother. If you are with them already, give canceling a shot, you might just save some money. Call - Cancel - Get Discount - Stay - Wait a year - Repeat (I gave them 2 stars -- though I wish I could go with negative stars.... my logic is that with the countless 1 star ratings, someone will read this one giving its 100% higher than the average review!!)

We had DirecTV satellite service for several years, then switched to Dish a few years back for a…read more(slightly) lower subscription price. When Dish kept increasing our monthly fee, we decided to switch to DirecTV Stream. After I signed up for the "no-risk" trial of DirecTV Stream, I called Dish to cancel that overlapping service. At that point, Dish transferred me over to a customer retention specialist who made me an offer that we could not refuse. At that point, I signed up with Dish, then called DirecTV to bail out of their service. Good luck! I was beyond their 14-day trial and could not cancel without paying them for the entire 2 year contract. They were holding me hostage. I then called Dish to explain the situation to them and to cancel that service that we had just ordered the day before, and THEY also tried to hold me hostage and expected me to pay for an entire 2 year contact. After threatening Dish with legal action and reminding them that the contract could be revoked within 3 business days, they caved in. So now we are stuck with DirecTV Stream for 2 years. It came with the one Gemini device and remote. We have two TVs, and I was not willing to pay them to lease another remote, so I bought two more online. We have had frequent and recurring problems, where we are watching recorded programming and where an error message suddenly pops up, saying that it has lost our Internet connection (which is total nonsense). The only way to escape this when it happens (error code 10007-013) is for me to restart the device. I had to do this yesterday and again today. So much for "streaming". I called DirecTV when this occurred today, and their technical support was totally useless. She wanted me to reboot my Starlink modem, which is working fine with a dozen other devices in our house, including the other TV. I have also had issues where I have had to totally reprogram one of the Gemini remotes after it kept freezing up. Waiting for this contract to end is worse than waiting for the next election cycle.
