Chris got back to me right away and let me know we could make it work. He offered come the next day to assess the job first, which was good because it was much more than either of us expected. I indicated I had a tight budget and he worked with me to figure out the best way to handle the job without breaking the bank! They arrived as planned and got to work fast! They had it done before I knew it and even offered some tips on the rest of the tasks I had to finish! He was upfront and honest, prompt in responding and on time and prepared as promised. I couldn't have asked for a better experience while dealing with a potential awful task and I'm truly grateful that I found them.

Super bummed about this one…read more Friendly guys--installed a 2nd story, stacked washing machine for us. I know it was an awkward, heavy job, and the layout of our house wasn't making anything easier. However, the company left large scratches in our wood floor finish. There wasn't any protection uses when pulling the old stacked unit out for replacement. They suggested we could buff the scratches out. This is not accurate... the finish is scraped off. If we buff it out, we'll just lose more finish. The big issue comes next. We ran the washing machine, since we had a lot of laundry piled up. When the cycle drained, the water started pouring out of our living room ceiling--the drain hose hadn't been connected properly or got disconnected during the install. Lastly, we had a Flood Stop mechanism attached to our old washer to prevent this exact issue from happening. During the install, one of the wires to the old Flood Stop was broken, rendering it useless. (A new Flood Stop is $286 on Amazon, for reference). The company hasn't been very interested in helping us out. We're really frustrated and hope that they can work with us to make this situation whole again. We need to repaint parts of the living room that had the paint balloon up with water, hope the water that came under the floor and out the ceiling doesn't lead to any long term issues, and replace our Flood Stop. I'd love to be able to update this review to reflect a positive resolution. Thanks for reading.

"Oh, this old world keeps spinning round…read moreIt's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down There comes a time" (Neil Young) Yup, there comes a time to say goodbye to and replace your old living room set. Especially when, as in our case, the reclining sofa, love seat and upholstered chair are 25 years old. But how on earth would we get that heavy old furniture down the stairs and out of the house? And even if we could do that, what we would do with them next? Well that all became a moot point when we contacted Tom McCully of TNT. We texted him a photo of what we needed to remove and dispose of, and within a few minutes, he texted me a reasonable quote of $250. Tom's communication was excellent. We exchanged a few texts and within a very short period of time we agreed on a date and time window. On that day, he texted me to say he was on his way, and he arrived with a truck, a trailer and two of the biggest strongest guys I've ever seen. In fact, the three of them resembled a 3-man wrestling tag team. Our three pieces of furniture were moved out of the living room, down the stairs, out the door, down our entry steps, into the driveway and plopped inside their trailer with nary a scratch to the hardwood floors or painted walls. Their workmanship and skill was fantastic. Without a question, TNT's fee was the best money we ever spent and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I'm late in writing this review, but wanted to be sure to leave one as I was very happy with the…read moremove that Paul and his helpers did for me. Last summer (2017- yes, I'm very late in writing this!) I needed to quickly move an elderly relative from an apartment to assisted living, all within the limits of Torrington. I live outside of CT so I needed to work efficiently to purge/clean/pack up the apartment since I had a tight timeframe of being in town. When Paul and his team arrived the morning of the move (on time!) they were easy to work with. Although I was able to pull the move together pretty quickly, there were some items that were not packed up when he arrived, but they were able to work around me as I finished up some of the last minute packing and they didn't grumble about it. ;-) I also realized at the last minute (once we started moving items into the new place) that we were not going to have room for a couple larger pieces of furniture. I had been worried about this and had given him a heads up about it as we packed up the apartment. Paul worked with me on making sure that they were disposed of/donated/given away (for an additional nominal fee). I was so grateful to not have to worry about it as I needed to quickly move in/set up my relative's new place before I was scheduled to fly back out of town. Paul and his team were instrumental in this happening! It's been over a year, but I don't recall any damage to any of the moved items or the walls so that's always a plus! I highly recommend this company.
