I asked them to repair my ipad mini's broken glass, and for saving money, I bought one front glass and have it with my mini. They said it doesn't fit, and ask for $30 for simply taking a look. Fine, I asked again could u guys remove the front glass for me, so I can try fix it all by myself. They asked to charge $80 for this! Ridiculous! Never ever go to this store! Take my words! First I dropped by to see how much it was going to be for having the lcd screen to my macbook replaced if I provided the replacement lcd screen. They said $45. A week later I came in with my lcd and macbook and they then quoted me $69 because it's an apple product. Okay. Then they said 3-4 days and my laptop would be fixed. 3 days later I called asking about my laptop, they told me I never authorized the repairs. I told them I did and I have signed documentation. They said it would be fixed "next day" well. . . 4 next days later, me hounding them on the phone led to the manager telling me that my wireless stopped working. WTH? When I picked up my laptop yes the lcd was fixed and replaced (4 days after the original expected date) but now I have to get my wireless airport fixed because they damaged it. Don't bother. Find another repair shop, even if the drive is far longer. Brought my macbook pro in and received not only terrible work but terrible customer service. If you like being lied to and paying for your repair to break a new part, this is your place. First thing that will cause you problems, is that the Manchester store is not going to be doing your repair. Not that they will mention that in any way to you when you bring it in. They assume you, as a new customer, would know this. This also means, as much as the staff at the Manchester store may be kind to you, they are of no help whatsoever to answer any questions you have and in the infrequent times they actually try to update you on your repair, they will be unable to tell you more than the sentence they are given to relay to you. They have no idea what's going on with your actual repair. Gave my computer to them to fix an LCD screen problem. An obvious and definite hardware error. So either replace the screen or cable. About 5-6 days after dropping it off, I call to get an update. I call Manchester. They have to call back after they talk to Orange. They call back and bullshit about "testing a new screen". I ask why they haven't called to approved the screen since that was part of our agreement. Oh but "if I don't want it they'll take it out". Call back at 7 days since I haven't heard from them and when dropping it off I was told it shouldn't take more than 7 days. They say they haven't heard from them yet. It should be ready soon. Call back. Call back. Call back. (and don't worry, half the time they won't answer and their mailbox if full). At this point I've cut out the middle man and have been calling the Orange store directly. After 12 days they "are talking to the tech who is repairing it right now! It's the screen, you need a new one." I clear them to do it and ask how long it will take. "It will be ready tomorrow, yeah he's putting in the new screen right now. It'll be at the Manchester store either tomorrow or the next day". Fine. Two weeks. Ridiculous but I'm just glad to finally get it back since its where I do my work. I call back later that evening and ask if they can return the old screen with the new. Since I felt uncomfortable with the back and forth I had gotten from them. They assure me thats fine. Next day, IN THE EVENING, I get a call saying they don't have the part. I ask how they could have been putting in the part twice in the span of these two weeks without this part, but its the manchester store calling to update me and they explain that they don't know, that's just what they were told to tell me. EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS that it's after I ask for this part back that they don't have it. Where they going to replace it at all? Who knows. I'm told the part is BACKORDERED and won't be in til next week. That'll make 3 weeks. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for a tech repair. I should add that I called Orange and asked when the part was ordered, because at this point I am beyond pissed but trying to remain respectful. "It doesn't say". I'm suuuure it doesn't say. Probably that afternoon after two weeks of waiting. I finally got it back after three weeks and just when I think I'm in the clear and can just NEVER even think about the worthless service of this shop, I find that they have messed up the magnets that control my computers sleep activation when the lid is closed. So I'll be going back in with the hopes that they stand by their warranty. Which seems hopeless with the lying they have done at every call since I've dropped it off. EDIT: I would also like to add that when I talked to them about the backordered part and explained that I could get it at local competitor in 3 days and mentioned I might like to just take the computer back they said "but your computer is taken apart" as if this would stop me from getting it back. And? TL;DR Diagnostic didn't happen for almost two weeks. Repair took 3 weeks. Broke things while repairing that they will hopefully fix under warranty when I forcefully return. Dishonest customer service reps. Do not recommend. Update: sent in for warranty repair. Took another week. However they only fixed part of their disaster they caused. Refused to acknowledge the note about the damage they had caused the fan. Now I have a computer that overheats at the simplest commands. Moved out of state and can no longer bring it back. Honestly at this point, I would pay to have someone else fix it for the security of not having to worry about what they'd manage to damage this time around. read more

Definitely staying away from this place from now on. The charger port on my laptop was a bit loose, and it kept shorting out. I explained exactly what the issue was. All they needed to do was pop it open and tighten the loose connection. They insisted on preforming a "diagnostic test" without my consent which consisted of them bending a paper clip and shoving it into the charger port, then charged me $30 for doing so. The response was "Yep. It's definitely loose." They had to send it out to a warehouse which took several days, just to have it tightened, which cost an extra $150. I called two weeks ago to see how long will take to fix cracked iPad screen they told me they could do it that day I brought it in they said it would be done in 1 to 2 days, a week and a half later I still do not have it I called every two days and they keep telling me tomorrow will call you tomorrow should definitely be ready tomorrow and almost 2 weeks later it's still not done they do not return phone calls either when they say will call you right back. One excuse was they had like 100 of the same exact iPad with the same exact cracked screen that week. I'm sure. read more

I had an old mac that needed a screen and keyboard replaced, I was originally told that the parts that needed replacement would be new which I was surprised to hear considering the laptop was about 4 years old but never the less I authorized the diagnostic to confirm that was all it needed . I also requested a cost estimate before any work was to be done as they had to send it out to a second party for parts and repair and weren't sure what the charge was going to be from them. They were great about getting back to me in a fashionably time with the cost and I found it to be reasonable to authorized the work. Their was some miscommunication on a time frame for the laptop to be picked up because of human error (part that was ordered was sent incorrectly to them) found this out after I called them to find out if the laptop was in their possession yet. They didn't call me to let me know it was going to take longer than estimated which I found a bit unprofessional. I was a bit ticked off because I had to rent a laptop for my son at college while his was being repaired and it was costing me as much as the repair. Anyways I spoke to someone and asked if the manager could help me out with the situation. The laptop was repaired quickly and send back to the Manchester store and I got a phone call to pick it up. When I picked it up I noticed that the keyboard was brand new but the screen was refurbished....not a problem except that the screen had a couple of indents in it. I was ticked off that after such a long period of waiting for it that I still received a screen that wasn't in descent condition. I was so upset that I started raising my voice to the young man in the store and demanded that I speak to the manger/owner someone who could do something for me. Which is not my style and I wished I had the chance to apologize to him. He directed me to the owner and after speaking to him he reduced my bill significantly. The situation at hand was an issue with the second party which the owner took responsibility for, I was impressed. The staff is very friendly, all the young men in the store are respectful, knowledgeable and hold good quality customer service. Horrible computer repair shop, and I would not reccomend it to anyone. Since my friend had recomended this place; I went in with my 3 year old Macbook pro,. The image on the display was distorting and I didn't know what was wrong. At first they reconnected the wire to the display ($70). When I brought it home, it worked for a while, then the image started distorting again. then I brought it back and they replaced the display (+$200). When I brought it home, the same thing happened. I brought it back to them and apparently the tech had not even checked for other problems or ran more extensive tests to see if everything was working properly. So they took it in again and ran a diagnostic and couldn't find anything wrong. All in all this took about 3 weeks and I still have a broken laptop. Theyre refunding me for everything but they are still charging me $30 for their absolute crap diagnostics. Even though their website claims they have apple certified technicians, I do not think they are very qualified individuals. This repair shop is great! Not only did I get quality customer service from the technician there but the repairs I have had done here are always finished in a timely fashion and done RIGHT! I dropped off an ipad and two ipods for broken screen replacements and the tech made them all look brand new again for much less money than any other store in the area. Anybody having a bad experience here must have had a very badly damaged system for them to not be able to fix it, because these guys are pros! read more

Have had two laptops fixed. One was ready in one day! All problems were resolved and fee was very reasonable. Very friendly staff!

I dropped my laptop off to them because it would not stay powered on. When I brought it in they told me it was probably the motherboard which I thought was strange. A week later I tried calling them during normal business hours to see what was wrong with the computer but nobody would pick up the phone. I kept calling and never got an answer and even left a message. 2 1/2 weeks later I showed up at the store demanding to know why they were not answering the phone and wanted my computer back. They told me the computer couldn't be fixed and that I had to pay $29 for their service. I refused to pay and left. I went over to another computer place down the road and they told me that the battery I bought two months ago was not compatible with my laptop. It took them a total of 5 minutes to order me a new battery after he tried to turn on my computer with a battery he had in stock and it worked. I went back over to the PCW Computer and told them the other place fixed the problem and I'm pretty sure PCW never even looked at my computer and yet they were going to charge me the service fee and tell me my computer couldn't be fixed. I don't recommend anyone take their computers there. I recommend driving up the road to Kaplan Computers where they are much more friendly and obviously care about their customers. read more

Terrible customer service, I went in to inquire about fixing a fan in my computer. Had gone there before for something simple and the service was ok, so I went back. After I asked a few questions about my computer problem the young man became impatient and said "either you want it fixed or you don't, it's that simple" and then completely ignored me, he started working on another computer with his back to me. Really, when there's several other computer shops in this area alone you can afford to talk to and treat customers like that... not sure who's running this place but they'll run it in the ground and out of business if that's the best front end service they can afford. Try some customer service training through your local high school continuing education department. It's very affordable and it might save your business. I will never step foot in that place again and no one I know will either if I can help it! read more
