Norm (the owner) called me back within 5 minutes of me leaving a message on their machine. A quick call back is very rare, having a friendly person call you back is even more rare! Norm's employee, David came out today, he was also very nice and professional. He was friendly to my curious dogs too! David was honest and told me the dishwasher wasn't worth repairing since the cost for the part cost almost as much as a new dishwasher. Bergerons doesn't sell appliances, but David gave me a couple of really helpful tips for buying a new dishwasher. I put his good advise to use tonight and purchased a new one. *If they sold appliances, I would absolutely purchase from them* After two years of using Bergerons, I'm happy to say that the great service, and honesty is still very much part of their work. Not so happy with the responses from Bousquet's staff. Bought a Maytag washing machine and less…read morethan 2 yrs later the control board is gone. All Bousquet staff would do is give out two different 1-800 numbers to Maytag that are TOTALLY worthless. No one answers or gets back, and the auto system that answers actually hangs up on caller. Bousquet staff couldn't care less about this problem. One salesman, Brian, actually told me he was "about to lose his temper" when I said I "may write a not so happy review if I couldn't get some help somewhere" (my exact words). He explained he didn't like getting blamed for manufacturer problems. Okay, fair enough. But when a customer is deliberately excluded from any contact at the next level they are being directed to, feels so powerless, and a review is all they have left as any leverage, they will say something like that. How unprofessional of him (Brian)! Should I be afraid? And so yes, Brian, here is my "not so happy review." I am unhappy because I purchased a $600 machine less than two years ago and now am spending close to that much to replace a part. And if you come back with a lecture about extended warranty you have missed the whole point of this story.
