Wasn't sure who to call as I have definitely called companies that charged phenomenal fees, and made one wait for service. I decided to go online and the first company was Evergreen. I read their fees which seemed fairly reasonable and further read the comments of many current customers and they were extremely positive. I called and explained the problem and how cold we were. The caring receptionist who took the call, Bianca, was so kind and such a good listener. She indicated she would check on availability of one of the technicians and would call me back soon which she did. The technician who was nearby, texted me, and arrived in 35 minutes. Nelson was polite, definitely analytical, knowledgeable and informative. He determined the problem quickly, and solved it within an hour. The fee was reasonable in comparison to other companies, Thank you, Nelson, Bianca and the Evergreen company. I feel safe in calling this company should other problems occur in the future.

Update to my original review: we have not heard a word back from Joe at Evergreen, who we've been…read moretold is the only person at the company who can speak with us. Our propane line has yet to be installed, even though we've paid for it. Our baseboard heaters were also never removed. At this point, we do not want Evergreen doing ANY work in our home and simply want a refund for the services that were either incorrectly done (the mini split) or never completed. We have asked a dozen times for a call back to discuss reimbursement, and are being flat ignored by the company. We're supposed to have our new mini split installed at the end of this week by a different HVAC company. Evergreen has claimed that they will uninstall their unit - but will not pick up the phone to discuss reimbursement first. We're also now at risk of having no active heating system in our home, because Evergreen never finished installing the propane system. We're looking at an additional $8,000 in costs for another HVAC company to finish the job that Evergreen started, and has yet to reimburse us a dime for. We fear that they are going to get their equipment, and then simply ghost us. I truly cannot believe a local company would treat their customers like this, especially after we trusted them and paid them thousands of dollars for an incomplete, poorly executed job. We're on week three of simply trying to get a response from this company.

I did that and I got a very quick response. Tim indicated that he was in my town and he could stop by and take a look. He did and made a quick diagnosis of what we needed. He showed me how I could fix it myself, but I think when he saw the look on my face he decided it would be good to call one of his plumbers on staff. Victor arrived very quickly as well. He could not have been nicer, kinder or more professional, same as Tim. Both of those gentlemen treated me like we were neighbors and have been friends for a long time. Anytime you're dealing with plumbing, you know that it could go badly either in terms of what you need or how much it's going to cost. But in both cases, this entire experience went as well as it possibly could. I very much appreciate Tim and Victor and I have a new plumber going forward. I can't recommend them any higher. This is the easiest decision I'll ever make in the future.
