Anthony pushed a hotspot device and claimed it was **"free" and included with the service." We clearly and explicitly declined the device twice. Despite this, Anthony continued to insist it was free and stated the $6 charge was only for taxes and fees. That statement was knowingly false. After getting home and reviewing our account, it became obvious that: * The $6 charge was not taxes or fees * It was a device payment * The hotspot is tied to a 24-month commitment at $15 per month This is not a misunderstanding or poor communication. The facts were concealed. The device was added after repeated refusals, the cost was misrepresented, and the long-term contract was never disclosed. Anthony did not "make a mistake" he knowingly misled us to push a sale. This is classic deceptive sales behavior and should concern anyone considering doing business at this location. If you value transparency, honesty, and not being tricked into unwanted contracts, do not trust this store. Check your account immediately if you've been here especially if Anthony helped you.

I found this out because Macy's sent it back to me in a package that just arrived today, with a note saying that I attempted to return it to Macy's, which I did not. My package was clearly sealed and labeled, and had the printed slip on the inside. But now that I have the package back, it's too late to send back for a refund. I know there's nothing that can be done about it now, but I'm honestly confused as to how a package clearly labeled for returns to one major chain ended up sent through a completely different company's return system. And now I can't get that money back. The Pleasant Street staff are nice and I don't want to be *that* customer, but please do better in the future.
