I stopped by Staples in Simsbury to print some end of the school year materials. One of the items I…read moreneeded to get printed was on a flash drive. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.

We went back hoping for a better experience and we were disappointed again. The same employee who treated us poorly was there on the floor and didn't try to fix what happened previously that day. He just said to his coworker, "there's those people who were here earlier, I bet they got their phones online, followed by some other mumbled things" as he ignored us and another helpful employee greeted us from the back of the store. She treated us with respect and addressed our questions. We left feeling good about our interaction with her, but disappointed again by the employee on the floor.

I then sought out another local technician who paid me a house visit. Although this was convenient, he, the so-called expert, left me more confused! That is when I contacted Robert of Global Computer Consultants. I am not one to take the time to leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so after working with Robert. He was fabulous. Patient, understanding, with an ability to explain tasks in lay terms. Either nobody would respond to my calls or wouldn't look at it because they didn't install it. One of those people gave me Hot Spot Stoves & Mechanical phone number. Jesse responded immediately. He came out looked at it and to my relief was able to order a new fan and install it. Jesse is very professional and a very nice person. He snarkily replied " I doubt you ever go anywhere where you won't have a signal". I don't think this guy has ever travelled out west or down a hiking trail in a remote off grid area. He was just rude and I swore I'd never go back. However, I did and what a wonderful experience we had with the new staff. Katherine or Katlyn ( I'm sorry I can't recall her name) ...she was great, she patiently answered all of our question and resolved our problem with our phone.
