This review is for the geek squad team…read more They're absolutely awesome, super friendly and nice. I seriously don't have anything bad to say about them, only good things. I took my 350z there to get my radio installed and best buy messed up some stuff and canceled the parts they needed for the install. The guys from Geek Squad (i wish I knew their names so I would mention here) helped me out and booked my appt for a week later so i would have time to get the right part through a website that was even cheaper than through best buy. Anyways they did such an amazing job and it only took 40 mins! Thank you guys for the amazing customer service!!

I stopped by Staples in Simsbury to print some end of the school year materials. One of the items I…read moreneeded to get printed was on a flash drive. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.

I originally went to the Verizon store in Avon, CT because my watch wasn't syncing with my phone…read more Ryan took the time to help troubleshoot the issue and also let me know about some great promotions that were available. I ended up leaving with a new phone and a new watch--and it worked out perfectly because my daughter is now happily using my old watch! A few weeks later, when my bill arrived, it was quite a bit higher than I expected. I'll admit, I was worried that some of the promotions I had been promised hadn't been applied correctly. I called Ryan, and just as he said he would, he walked me through the bill line by line, explained everything clearly, and even adjusted the promotion to make sure the pricing matched what he had originally quoted. In a time when upselling and empty promises can make customers skeptical, Ryan did exactly what he said he would do. That level of honesty, follow-through, and customer service is rare and truly appreciated. I've been back to this Verizon location twice since returning to Verizon, and every experience has been positive. The entire team has been great, but Ryan definitely set a high bar. Thank you, Ryan, and thank you to the Verizon Avon, CT team for providing such excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

After a few visits to Geek Squad, I realized these kids are for the most part, impatient and unwilling to walk in this dinosaur's path and help me. I then sought out another local technician who paid me a house visit. Although this was convenient, he, the so-called expert, left me more confused! That is when I contacted Robert of Global Computer Consultants. I am not one to take the time to leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so after working with Robert. He was fabulous. Patient, understanding, with an ability to explain tasks in lay terms. Rather than feeling embarrassed by my lack of computer skills, he empowered me with a new sense of hope in overcoming my incompetence on the computer. He even printed out clear, concise instructions for my future reference. Thank you again, Robert! Jonathan H.

My stove's fan was making a loud noise this past winter so I called around to find someone who could come out and look at it and replace it.
