I called them because, some tasks are not do it yourself stuff. I have an acre full of trees and some are more than 50 feet tall minimum. Over the past two years he has removed over 16 very large trees from my property, including completely grinding the stumps, trimming large tree branches, cutting down dead tree trunks and even cleared some evasive thorn bushes that were destroying my lawn. After they finished, they removed all the waste from my property, filled in the holes with dirt and did a fantastic clean up job. Amazingly every time they finished, all in one day. Before I called H&G, I shopped around for quotes and found out that Mr. Humberto had best the prices and was fully insured. I highly recommend them. I called for treatment for Spongy Moth Caterpillar infestation and was advised I would need 2…read moretreatments - 1 in June and 1 in July at $600 each. The team came once in June, which seemed to work. There was no evidence of continued infestation after that first treatment. To my surprise, the team showed up again only about a week and a half later still in June for our second treatment. I later learned from multiple reliable sources, including a NY.gov webpage, that Spongy Moth Caterpillars turn to moths by the end of June. I believe I was oversold, so I made a few calls and sent a letter. I paid for the first treatment, but contested the second. The billing department is threatening collections and transferred me to the Plant Healthcare Manager who admitted some trees need 1 treatment and some need 2..."we sell for coverage." I asked him to clarify and he said they sell 2 in case 2 are needed. I have left 3 messages for my salesperson With no response. Incidentally, we still have nearly complete leaf coverage.

He told me the estimate is free only if we cut down the tree. That is not what is written. How can you trust a place that has false advertisement and lies before you use them . Had a giant, massive tree removed in front of my property…read more 1. Little to no communication. Was told I needed to have police come (an extra not cheap cost) at 8 am. So why didn't A & H's team show up until closer to ten? "They're coming, don't worry." Easy for him not to worry; I'm the one paying. When I asked Javier about it, "don't worry, you'll get reimbursed back for the time." -Never happened. Never saw a dime of that back. 2.-A year later, needed to get the remainder of the stump ground down. They wouldn't commit to a day or time, or time frame. Told me they'd give me notice. They texted me an hour before. I wasn't home. Did they grind it? -Hardly. They were there and left within 45 minutes, and lo and behold, the stump was not ground sufficiently. 3. We had to have them come back, further cost, and at no point do they EVER remove the mulch. So this is just cost upon cost. And yet again, no communication. 4. At no point do they communicate clearly. Javier seems bothered, constantly. People are dropping thousands of dollars for services, and he seems annoyed, quite frankly. Would leave messages, for about 2 weeks continuously getting told someone would call back. -I'd wait a few days, no call back. The most frustrating experience.
