I've had tree service on my property 4 times over the last 13 years. Three of those times, I used…read moreO'Sullivan. Estimates from John were competitive. They are reliable and quite capable in tree topping, removal, stump grinding and overall, meeting your expectations. The only time I didn't use them was because another company beat their estimate by a small margin. It was a tough one, but I suspect the other company really needed the work. When you have big jobs with big trees, there is generally going to be some sort of property damage in yard holes or damaged bushes. My last job had holes and track marks. I told them and they filled the areas with topsoil. They are a busy company so there can sometimes be delays. I was a bit worried about them taking 3 weeks to remove a stump following removal of my tree. However, after expressing my concern over and over, they came through and completed the job. I've also had mulch delivered from them on two occasions. Again, reliable and fairly priced. When it comes to tree services, in this area, they are as good as it gets. I'm happy they're around. Five stars from me.

The man who represented the company (Lars) knew every tree name and made great recommendations, When the crew arrived, they were perplexed and didn't know where or what forsythia bushes were, then when I showed them my oriental dwarf maples, they didn't have a clue how to shape them. He called Lars and was given things to say to me , like it's a personal preference how to shape an ornamental tree. Incidentally the tree was already done shaped however overgrown about. Next the worker started to tell me that the original plan to cut a branch above the weeping cherry was wrong, and 10 branches needed to be cut. At this point, I realized that I was dealing with nonprofessionals. Not Arborists. When I called Lars he said he would stop over but was not going to stay to supervise the job. It was prudent to stop any work before it got started because the company was misleading . Do not hire

We had an initial consultation to discuss our needs and the cost however after some consideration, my focus of the work I wanted done changed and therefore needed a new price. Well this joker thought it would be ok to just start the work and upon completion sends a picture showing the trees and shrubs were taken down BUT he never had our approval to proceed! He never told us the cost. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT! He claimed to have called and says no one answered. There was no voicemail there was no text, this unprofessional landscaper took it upon himself to just do as he wanted! He comes to my home, without approval and just did what he wanted ! Then to top it all off, he asks to be paid when he doesn't even do the job I asked for and when the remaining work is pointed out, he has the "you know what" to say, that will cost you more money! So if you contemplating going with this company, DON'T! Save your money and keep scrolling. Dont get suckered in!
