We have been doing business with this contracting company for over five years and, over that time,…read morehave hired them for a number of projects, including landscaping, outdoor lighting, and tree removal. We considered ourselves loyal customers and had generally been happy to work with them. Unfortunately, our experience with a recent project has been very disappointing. The company rebuilt the two concrete steps leading from our back door, and only two years later, the concrete is already breaking apart and falling off the steps. We contacted the company to discuss the issue and see how it could be addressed. We were told that their workmanship is only guaranteed for one year, so because the project was completed two years ago, they would not stand behind the work. We understand that companies have warranty policies, but we had hoped that a company we had supported for more than five years would be willing to take some responsibility when a relatively recent concrete project is deteriorating this significantly. What was particularly disappointing was the response when we explained that, if nothing was done to rectify the situation, they would be losing a loyal, longtime customer. Rather than trying to find a reasonable solution, we were essentially told that they had been in business for over 40 years and did not need our business to be successful. After more than five years of doing business with a company, we expected better customer service and, more importantly, a willingness to stand behind their workmanship. Unfortunately, this experience has changed our opinion of the company, and we will not be using them for future projects.

After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call. Jose Rodriquez the manager begged me to pay in full because he needed money to buy materials to finish the job and he never came back. He only completed 80% of the job. I contacted him several times after that, and he never came back. Around my trees, there's at least 2ft deep holes. He never came back to cover the holes with grates for safety. I have a child with ADHD and autism, that was the main reason I did the backyard and fencing. I begged him countless times but he never came back. It's been 7 months already. Now, I'm trying to find someone else to cover the holes before God forbid, he falls in and injured himself. Moreover, they also installed a few dead plants and they told me brown was their natural color. In addition, the sprinklers they installed never worked. They scammed me big time. I finally decided to file a complaint with my bank.
