The tree in front of my house was over grown. Braches swaying during storms and high winds caused the electric wire being hit by branches to pull the wire off the house causing loss of power. I called Ken's tree care to trip the branches. What a mistake. They trimmed the tree and left one branch still against the main electric wire. 6 phone calls 5 email late they still refuse to come and rectify the problem. 5 stars for several reasons... 1) Ken has always quickly shown up in person to discuss the job in detail on-site, and then quickly provided a clear estimate. 2) For the 2 jobs KTC has done on my property each time Ken has suggested other landscaping ideas that I had not thought of. I decided to follow through with these ideas and each has greatly improved the property. 3) Ken has always followed up to make sure the job was done right either during the job or right after. The tree company's way to handle customer's requests is unacceptable and makes me raged. I requested 3 times the report and photo how the tree was treated and the progress of its condition. I made phone calls three times and talked with the person who was working there. I got answers from them that they would provide the information. But, I never got any phone calls accommodating my requests. I found out that the trees in my front yard all died. read more

worked with ken's tree to chop down and get rid of EVERYTHING on my property. overall, getting estimate and the job was pretty good. notice i capitalized EVERYTHING. well not everything was gone, had to ask them mulitple times to grind out roots and the guy that was grinding said that the machine was too heavy for him to move around...wtf? isn't that his job? grind with the machine? not like i asked him to grind out manually... also later i still found roots from the trees that wasn't gone. so i had to remove them myself. would i use them again? possibly, but i have my doubts with them read more
