I've taken my son to Omni twice. The first time they identified a growth on his back. The second time was in September for a rapidly growing growth just below his eye. Craig Wiggins quickly identified what it was, and we scheduled the surgery to remove it and another cyst on his cheek. Dr. Andrew Racette was very careful with my son, and decided the best course was to remove the growth under his eye, and have him come back the following week for the removal of the one on his cheek. Both surgeries were done, quickly, efficiently, and I could tell that Dr Racette is very skilled in his work. (He also told my son that he holds the record for the largest pilomatricoma that he has removed from a face.) I was very pleased with the work of the doctors and staff at Omni Dermatology. read more

I recently had a baby and got a lot of red bumps all over my skin so I wanted to see a dermatologist to see if this could get resolved. The person I saw was Craig... Please do not waste your time. He was in there within five seconds he was out talking 1,000,000 miles a minute I could not understand or follow anything he had to say. Any questions I had made me feel very, stupid for asking it also felt very dismissive... This one star review for how annoying and invasive their billing process is. If you've taken my credit card to settle my office visits in advance, there is no need to robo call, text, mail and email billing notices to me. Then you log on to review the bill in case you missed something and it's blank because it's already been paid. What's the point, stop wasting my time! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! This is one of the worse offices we've been to. Not only does the staff refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes, they are rude and blame it on the patient. My 17 year old son and I walked in trying to check in. Receptionist did not greet us and asked for our information and told us to fill out the patient form. I informed her that we received a text from their office to fill out the paperwork online but we couldn't because there was an error. Also, we always try to fill out everything prior to our appointments to cut down the wait time, especially today because it's a busy day for us. Then, in a very sarcastic way, she said that they sent the text over a week ago and that we should have called for assistance. She asked for my phone number so she could assist me in filling out the form. I felt she was trying to tell me that I didn't know how to fill out the form. I showed her that we received the text only a couple of days ago as well as the error messages. I also advised them that I know how to fill out the form and asked if she was an IT to figure out how to fix the error. Long story short, they had the incorrect DOB, so I filled out the form manually. When finished she asked my son for his ID and insurance. I told her that I was the primary and that she didn't need anything from him. In a very disrespectful way, she keep asking him for the requested information. I keep telling her that he was a minor and that she needed to take me for that information. After going back and forward, she finally took my information. She told me that she emailed me another form to sign. After several minutes of not getting the email, I informed her that I didn't receive the email. In a very rude way, she told me ''I already emailed it". I waited a few more minutes and still nothing. I asked her to confirm my email and it turns out that she wrote wrong. She didn't say anything and handed over a paper copy. I asked for a pen, then she said that I did not have to fill it out anymore. She just kept delaying us, when we finally got checked in and after waiting over 15 minutes (this is 45 minutes after our appointment) the nurse did not greet us at all, also with a bad attitude she just told us to go to a specific area and wait. She walked into the room and asked the same question that I filled out on the form, which she was holding. I explain the reason for the visit again, then she looked at the form and kept telling me that my son had many health conditions... I was very confused and asked her if there was anything wrong with the information I provided. Again, with an attitude, she said no, I'm just going based on the information you provided us. I informed her that she was addressing the Family Medical History. Then, she was oh okay. She walked out and made us wait for the Dr. The Dr. walked asked the same question the nurse did, spent 5 minutes and walked out informing us that he would send a prescription to our pharmacy and to come back in another week. I walked out very frustrated, irritated, angry, and upset at the level of care they provided for us. WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK TO THIS OFFICE. read more

I have been here a total of two times. I had two tumors removed a couple weeks ago, everything was fine and good. I was home about two weeks after I had the stitches removed and I found that there was one left in my head. I couldn't figure out why my head was hurting and why it was sensitive to touch. I get that people make mistakes, and that's all fine and dandy I just think that when they put the sutures in my head they should have counted them to know how many were in there to know how many to remove. I wrote my original review out of projected frustration towards this office so am writing to update. I delayed having a growth seen by a dermatologist for several months during the COVID19 pandemic. The growth of concern first appeared in early February. As the growth grew, my concern did too so I finally made an appointment in May at another office, Clear dermatology. They planned to excise my cyst in early June then had to delay due to the pandemic. Alas, Clear Dermatology was not compatible with my dual insurance plans so I found myself at Omni per my insurance recommendation. The provider I saw first at Omni prescribed me an antibiotic, doxycycline, in hopes of reducing the size of the growth prior to performing a surgery. Unfortunately, it gave me an allergic reaction - hives all over my body. I contacted the office straight away and they advised I discontinue the use of doxy but still were in no rush to excise my cyst. Keeping in mind that office #1 was ready to perform an excision two months prior at this point, I grew frustrated which prompted my original review. I was seen today by Dr. Racette however and need to update that I am satisfied with the level of care Omni Dermatology provides. As a "Yelp Elite" I have a platform which can be used for good or bad and I misspoke on this business. I feel assured that Dr. Racette goes above and beyond to take care of his patients and recommend this business to friends/family. If I could give 0 stars I would. The girl at the front desk is the rudest person in a medical office that I have ever experienced. She was condescending and ignorantly repeating herself over and over again rather than giving me a real answer as to why they NEED a credit card on file in order to see me. I paid $40 cash for my co pay. Why do you need a card on file too? She kept saying "it's an office policy I don't know what to tell you" "you can't have your appointment today unless you give me a credit card" after I already drove 25 minutes there and took time off of work. Took my baby here for the first time and they had us waiting for over 50minutes. We had an appointment and we got there like 10 minutes early. A bunch of people got there after us and were getting seen. I asked what the delay was and they seemed confused and said they would see us soon. I think they forgot about us. Doctor visit was pretty quick and dismissive i felt. Fast forward a couple months. I called to ask if i should bring my daughter in and left 3 voicemails and never got a call back. Dealing with some hair loss and nail issues, I was looked at like I was being judged and the issues I went there for have progressed and are now out of control. This dr never looked at my issues and seemed like he was only for the money and title. I've gone back and forth with myself about this since the day I walked out of that office. I feel like the department of health or whoever licensed this guy should take a deeper look at him. I was referred here by my primary care doctor to get my mole surgically removed, scheduled an appt to do so and Craig Wiggins NP was the worst provider I've ever come in contact with didn't know how to proceed with the procedure and asked me to wait for another doctor for a half an hour to get off lunch to ask how to proceed couldn't answer any of my questions about other moles and had and extremely rude and unprofessional attitude pls avoid at all costs!!! Over my visits, Dr R spent an average of 10 min or less with me. He walked in, and based on little information determined exactly what the problem was and prescribed me medication. When it didn't succeed he prescribed a stronger one claiming, "this will take care of it". When it didn't I decided to look elsewhere. read more

I can't speak for the service because they fail to return my calls. But this was my experience: I was recommended here so I called and left a message on a Friday. I get nothing the next week, so I assumed it was an honest mistake and I call again just to get the voice mail. I leave another message but still no return call. So I think with that type of service and personnel there, I'm better off somewhere else. read more
