After have been going to this clinic for a few years I was informed my regular Dr had moved on and I would be seeing a different Dr. I was very disappointed in this different Drs demeanor. The fact he was an hour late didn't start things off well. When he blamed the scheduling team I was a bit confused. No apology. I was lectured on the evils of the sun. During my lecture he looked around the room, rarely looking at me. Was in for a full body skin check...he looked at my arms, chest and legs. I never was asked to stand or get off the table I was sitting on for an exam. He bragged about his own sun protection and various athletic achievements. Since moving to Arizona 7 years ago I have routinely been seeing a dermatologist to guard against skin cancer and other conditions. This was the last time I will go to this office. read more

I'd been here a few years ago. Dr. Klug was amazing. But he's no longer with the practice. I guess a lot has changed in the last couple of years-- and I won't be back. They called me back 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The MA was very bland and dry. I was trying to show her the spots on my skin and she didn't even look up from the iPad. She left the room, and I'm not even kidding.. I sat in the room for over an HOUR before the doctor came in... absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Levine comes in. He didn't even knock before entering. He was so monotone. He had no "bedside manners". He was not personable. Definitely go somewhere else if you want to feel cared for and like you matter as a patient and to not wait an hour and 15 minutes after your appointment time to be seen. read more

Regency was recommended to me by my dad who has worked with them for awhile regarding some of his skin cancer and they have even done procedures to remove cancer for him. He had nothing but good things to say about this place so I decided to schedule a visit for a consult about my dry skin and red cheeks. They were able to suggest a great skin regimen and products that I could try out. Recently in the last 3 years I have been going here a couple of times a year to receive botox in my forehead. My experience from start to finish at this place has been the worst. To start, I made an appointment through Zocdoc (that was the easy part!), filled all the paperwork out prior to the appointment and when I got to the office, they made me fill out the paperwork again, luckily, I got there early. Or so I thought, I proceeded to wait over 45 minutes past my scheduled time to even get called back. After getting taken back, I was then asked all the same questions I had already filled out in the paperwork at the beginning. I thought my toenail was infected and when the dr came in to see me, she hardly looked at it and then asked me if I wanted to send a sample to get tested, which was the only way we could know what direction to go with treatment. She made me feel like a pain and kept telling me how it was going to be difficult for her to clip my toenail. Cut to, the test results coming back a week later and no infection was detected so they could send a topical cream to my pharmacy. I didn't answer the phone in time, so they left a voicemail with my options. I called back immediately, and they had no idea what I was talking to and since it was close to closing time on Friday, I was going to have to wait until Monday. It took about a week for me to get someone to actually send a prescription to my pharmacy. After all of that, it wasn't even covered by my insurance. So, over a month later I have been calling over and over to try and speak with the MA to see if there are any alternatives I could get instead. No one could even tell me what the prescription was for. This has been the biggest waste of time, and I would HIGHLY not recommend anyone go to this office unless you also want to waste your time. read more

I recently came in for a procedure and this practice has pros and cons. Scheduling was simple and efficient, waiting times were short and the doctor was great with good bedside manor. My negative experience was with a nurse who was very clearly still training. She was not at all prepared to be working with patients. She was dropping sharps multiple times and when it came to numbing me her hand was shaking the entire time and sprayed lidocaine all over my face. A nurse who cannot hold a steady hand with a syringe should not be injecting patients, full stop read more

I called to get a copy of the doctor's lab order that were order in April, 2025, they cannot find the order, we have to make a new appt with a new doctor to get a lab order that were only order in April 9, 2025. The front desk stated they have no appt for phoenix location we have to go to surprise location for an order that they cannot find With a new provider. This place over charges you and your insurance. I would NOT recommend this place. I had a mole and a wart removed. My insurance approved for one doctor to do the procedure. After she removed mole/wart, they had me go into another room and had a plastic surgeon stitch me up. At no time before the procedure did they tell me this. My insurance didn't cover any portion of the bill from the 2nd doctor. So Out of pocket I am expected to pay close to a total of 1000 dollars. Which is ridiculous considering the procedure didn't take long and they billed the insurance thousand of dollars. This should be a crime how much they over charge. I went in for some itching in my feet and inside of my arm. I told them I suspected I had a fungal infection. The male doctor tried telling me I had eczema. I've never had eczema so I had to tell them to prescribe be anti fungals, they did but they didn't prescribe enough to treat the infection. Doctor insisted It was fine to have a skin biopsy on the inside of my arm. Now I have a permanent scar right in the fold of my arm. Then they billed me twice for pathology. Once in office and once with a outsourced pathology company. I had collection calls even though I paid upfront in office. Terrible experience Ended up going to village medical and received full treatment. Regency is all about selling plastic surgery much less experienced with diagnosis and skin conditions. Oh and the nurse that comes in before the doctor, heard her joke in the hallway' about how my condition looked my cancer and the doctor replied "he's kind of young though" super uncomfortable experience. read more

Then I met Dr. Mussman and Ciara and they provided a treatment plan that worked just fine. Exactly care all the way around! They provided excellent follow-up for 2+ months. BEWARE Before Surgery!!!  You may pay more than what you are told up front!!!  I had a cyst removed and saw Dr Davis who is the dermatological surgeon.  She said she would remove the cyst and then have the cosmetic surgeon, Dr Mussman, stick it up.  Lisa in the office scheduled the surgery and told me that I would be charged TWO Specialist Copays and that was all I would have to pay, a total of $60.  I confirmed that with the billing department 2 days before the surgery.  On the day of surgery They took my $60 and had me sign surgical release papers and took me back to prepare me for surgery.  I thought that was it.  However, 5 weeks later I received a bill from them for an outpatient surgery of $315 billed by the doctor who closed the surgical site.  I call my insurance company and escalated it to a supervisor.  I was told by the Provider's office that I would just be charge 2 doctor copays but then received an Ambulatory Surgery bill as well.  The insurance, a supervisor, called the Billing department but they would not do anything about it. They put me on the phone as well and the lady in billing and I just shouted back and forth.  it was terrible.  I tried to explain that this was bait and switch and this went against the 2021 "No Surprise Act" in which you are not to get surprise bills without being notified before.  That conversation went nowhere.  The insurance company could not do anything about it because the doctor who started the surgery and the doctor who finished the surgery billed as totally different entities.  BEWARE of this billing practice with this company even though they are located in the same office.  The insurance supervisor has not seen this billing practice done before but it was done in a way billed as 2 different entities so that they could make more  money from my surgery.  They told me a total of $60 but I am ending up paying $345.00 which is more than my copay for outpatient surgery.  GET IT IN WRITING!!!   AND BEWARE OF Double billing and billing practices to earn more money for this practice.  Have them tell you EXACTLY what you will pay before from a supervisor in the practice.  The insurance company advised me to seek a different provider.  I will do that.  I was impressed with the care but they are crooked with their billing practices!!! read more

This was back in 2021 but I feel that it needed to be posted. I went in because I had a reaction on my skin the the ED and my Primary Care had no idea what was going on. I went in and saw a young dude with a man bun, his name was Dr. G (I can't remember the last name. It was strange). He immediately looked at me and said I had scabies (looked nothing like scabies). When I told him it wasn't, he did a biopsy and said he couldn't find mites, but it was still "scabies". Super rude. Said I needed to clean my house. I immediately left and went to a completely different facility and they did blood work.. turns out it was chicken pox at the ripe age of 24. That is something a DERMATOLOGIST should of spotted out. Many doctors failed me, but Dr. G was the worst. :-) I do not recommend. read more

First let me say, I only went once, but Dr. Carr is excellent. That's the good news. The bad news (BE AWARE AS THIS COULD APPLY TO YOU) is their billing department doesn't understand how insurance deductibles work. I have a $3500 deductible and my husband has a $3500 deductible. But they insist on adding that together and not accepting that the deductible has been met until you meet the combined deductible amount. Since I've met my deductible and am now covered 100%, if they charge me, eventually there will be a refund. This means I can't use my HSA account because you can't easily put money back on an HSA card. So, you will be fined for the refund check because of how HSA is tied to your income tax. When they send a refund check for what you paid from your HSA it amounts to a cash out of HSA. And in fact my husband's employer has advised not to pay until the statement comes back from the insurance company because of all this complication. I'm already struggling to get a big refund check put back on HSA from another medical provider who greatly overestimated what I would need to pay. read more

This place really has a puppy mill vibe. That is, if dermatology services were puppies. Look, it makes sense to me. ;-D My dad had skin cancer and I have always had moles that I get checked every 1-2 years. I was surprised when I got a voicemail saying that I couldn't actually meet with the doctor like my original appointment had promised and it would be the PA instead. Fine. A little shady, maybe, but I have better things to think about. The entire visit felt like an oil change, and though the PA was extremely sweet, I got the sense she was under an immense amount of pressure to see as many patients in the shortest time possible. She was kind enough to freeze a skin tag for me, but it's been almost two days and it hasn't healed or fallen off. Hope I don't have a scar. It is worth mentioning that I don't think the quality issue isn't personal. Every single staff member I encountered was incredible sweet. I just think the place is definitely a high volume "in and out" style clinic, and so if you're looking for more comprehensive care and to develop a strong relationship with your provider, this may not be the place for you. read more

I had 3 moles removed on my up lip area and lower lip. They butchered my face! I will never be the same . The derm dr was rude and didn't explain the procedures. When Dr Mussman got to me I had 10 stitches from my nose to lip on both side and 10 stitches bottom of lip . These people should not be allow to treat patients! read more

Made an appointment on Zocdoc for 1 pm today. Got an email and text confirmation. Front desk apparently never checked me in so I wasn't taken back until 1:50 pm after I asked if I would ever be seen. Front desk thought that I was actually extremely late too and that my appointment was at 12:45 when it was not. They took me back immediately. The MA asked what I needed to be seen for. When she left, she was giggling to someone about how the front desk forgot to check me in. Unprofessional and despicable. I walked out. Won't be back. read more

Best dermatology office ever! I see Brittany Silverman, and she is always the best. Very attentive, very friendly and treats me well as her patient. She always listens to my concerns and addresses them fully, never missing the mark on anything. I enjoy coming to the office. It's a nice office too, with a really state of the art Keurig machine and free coffee for patients, as well as Fiji water bottles available upon request. The front office staff is always kind and helpful, and it's always easy to get an appointment in a very timely manner. For example, I called this morning and was able to get in within the hour, which was great because I had an urgent matter I wanted taken care of that same day. What a breath of fresh air this office was. I was in and out of the office with in an hour. I was taken back before I was even done filling out my paper work. While back there the assistant asked me a few questions and then Dr. Klug came in immediately. He was very nice and made me feel safe with his approach and kind voice. Went in to have a sus mole removed on May 23rd. They told me it could take up to 10 days to receive the result. Ended up stressing about the result for 3 weeks. Called multiple times to check if my result was in. First call it supposedly wasn't in yet. 2nd and 3rd call Dr. Kleug (or whatever his name is) and his MA team weren't in. But they would put in a priority to call me today on Monday June 13th. I didn't have the patience to wait all day so I called them this morning. The receptionist told me he and his MA team weren't in today. Are you kidding me?! No one mentioned that on Friday when I called and they put in a "priority". I said I don't care who reads me my result just find someone. She found an MA for another doctor and before transferring the call told me they've actually had the result since May 25th! Two days after my appointment to get it cut off! Never coming here again! read more

I've been wanting to post this review for 3 years now after having the worst medical experience of my life. Dr. Mussman and the support staff at Regency were not nice once they already got their money for an unsuccessful breast augmentation surgery. Dr. Mussman had his assistant call me the Friday of Labor Day weekend which I had approved to fly out of state. In this phonecall I was told I have a hematoma, although I had been to all of my follow up appointments for 6 weeks at that point, this was just being disclosed to me over the phone. I asked if it would pass naturally in hopes I wouldn't have to worry about another procedure and was expecting a follow up call if that would be necessary. I received no call back so I went on my flight to celebrate my daughters bday. What I didn't know was the hematoma was so severe it would lead to the stitches opening worse than they already were at my follow up appointments, which should have been addressed IMMEDIATELY! My symptoms were extremely severe on the right side with this super swollen painful hematoma and the phone number I was given to text pictures said it was fine! Once I was on vacation though I kept noticing more blood in the pads I was changing which they also claimed to be normal at my follow ups when I expressed concern. The opening only got worse and I had to have my dad rush me to the ER. I had to spend my daughter's birthday in the hospital in Orlando when I was supposed to be enjoying all the things we had planned together. Sierra, not the one with tattoos, called while I was in the hospital after having an emergency surgery. She was giggling at the fact my implant had to be removed when trying to check in after realizing I had a medical emergency that was their fault! This alone was very hurtful as I spent my only Childs bday alone in a hospital room. I was so devastated and traumatized. When I returned home after the surgery to fix what happened, Dr. Mussman then quoted me for an 8000 dollar procedure for a lift, which he said in my initial appointments would not even be necessary. I didn't agree with this and was told "we can't just be doing surgeries for free." Since I had a corrective surgery I guess they felt like they could treat me like shit after that. When I went to retrieve my documents the receptionist frantically gave me "all that they had," which magically left out many photos from the follow up appointments which showed the bloody slightly opened wound. Very shady practices going on there. I strongly advise anyone looking for any cosmetic procedure to find somewhere else with better support and caring staff. read more

I'm pretty tired of front desk not being trained properly. I was told my appointment for a wart removal would be less than 100$ over the phone, I even said wow really? Because most places have first time fees etc. Person on the phone should've known I was a new client, and also should've asked if I would be paying with insurance or self pay. The wart is practically gone by now because of how long I had to wait for an appointment, I was fine paying "less than 100$" for a doc to potentially tell me it's gone/nothing we can do; but for 165$ just for the appointment/just to look at the issue? Pretty steep.. Pretty upset that I drove 25 minutes for information I asked over the phone. read more

Most disorganized health care I have ever dealt with. In the last two months regency has written a prescription incorrectly that took me 5 hours to straighten out, canceled an appointment without notifying me, so I wasted another 5 hours of time, and today they scheduled an appointment without telling me we needed new xrays prior to the appointment. Once again I took off from work for an appointment that never happened. On top of that I received a letter from my insurance that regency never sent information to themfor a referral they made for physical therapy, so now my insurance wants to Bill me because regency never submitted the paperwork. Absolutely the worst health care I have ever dealt with. Stay away from them!!!! Edit. After posting this, someone from Regency called and spoke with me. He was responsive and after thinking about the totality of my experiences I am changing this from a one star review to a 2 star review. While I stand by my assessment that they are not organized, the actual health care provided was satisfactory. Dr. Schultz did a good job with the surgery and aftercare. read more

The charges they put on you are absolutely ridiculous. I have had the same procedures for 10 % of what they charge. I showed up for a surgical procedure and they said we need 2,000 before we start. no warning just give us 2K makes sense why they have marble floors. I really like this place . , The thunderbird banner hospital send me to see Dr. Jason Mussaman and I really like the service he provides he was quick and you can tell he is well trained he make my son feel comfortable and secure and aesthetically fix my son's finger . The place is big with lots of rooms and everything look pretty clean ., the girls are very helpful and nice. The price is pretty good for a cash patient . And I just overheard they have different payment plans so that's a plus . read more
