I had a malignant melanoma which had to be removed, where as my surgeon was great the after care was abysmal, even the surgery scheduling was screwed up I was not given any instruction to my aftercare which required 6 weeks off my feet, I had ask all the time, nobody ever called me to see how I was doing even the day after my surgery. When I did complain, something I'm not comfortable doing the Dr's Assistant was rude and brusk. My surgery turned out well as I said but I shall not be returning to this office read more

Highly efficient visit with compassion! Called this morning with a massively gross hand rash that hurt so bad. They were able to get me in asap because of a cancellation. The front desk checkin super fast! I was quickly taken into a room with a nurse who asked questions, took pictures and made me feel comfortable. The Dr really empathized with and heard my concerns. She was able to give me some hope, meds and get a quick biopsy. And when I say quick I mean no sitting there feeling anxious while they prep the shot and wait. The nurse had everything ready and we got it right away. My experience was a 10/10! I WISH all Dr offices were run this way! Who knew you can have speed, compassion and expertise like this. If you're afraid to call or go seriously don't be just do it you deserve to feel better. Also this is the place to go if you're anxious. It's so fast there isn't time to overthink it and you won't need to because you're in good hands. read more

Sadly, this place has zero etiquette. Look no further than the assistant manager (Malisse?) who had me removed from the facility in Surprise earlier this morning and threatened to have me discharged as Dr. Spencer's patient whom I've yet to see because the person who set up the appointment more than one month ago and confirmed the appointment three times up until yesterday failed to look at the doctor's schedule after insisting that he only sees "lymphadema" patients at the Surprise facility when all along he's in the Phoenix facility on Thursdays. Needless to say, loss of time and wages on my part after a futile one hour's drive that resulted in humiliation. Just have to say this place has the worst front desk staff. Unprofessional staff that when you check in they look at you like what do you want. They are young and immature and have no clue what is going on with your appointment. The provider and back assistant were great. Just sucks that the front desk is the first impression patients get when they check in and so makes you think the providers are the same and makes you rethink should I be seen especially When your spending money . My dad was having pain in his arm overnight - I called the on call number and they mentioned Dr. Mussman was going to return the call within the hour. No call back was received. I had to call in the next day in the morning again to the office to receive a response. My dad again had itchiness and discomfort on Friday night. I called the on call number and again no callback - I have called through Saturday and no callback as of right now. read more

I'm reading through all of the reviews and I notice on their own site and on YELP, that they only respond to the reviews if they are 5 stars. The people who had bad experiences get crickets. I cannot say enough good things about Regency! From the first contact on, it has been easy and stress-free. I grew up near the beach and pools in the 60's and 70's; now I have to watch for skin cancer. Regency and the wonderful Dr. Klug did the exam and biopsy on 2 spots. One spot came back with pre-cancerous cells and they explained the process with me thoroughly. The spot was incised in the office with local anesthesia. The entire staff is kind, easy and nice to be with. The office itself is nice and clean with proper Covid -19 protections. read more

I recently called this business to ask a question about what procedure is customary for a basil cell carcinoma on the back. I told her that I was recently diagnosed with two areas of cancer. The female that answered the phone was very polite but stated that because you are not a patient I cannot comment on your situation at all. I'm sorry it's policy. I recently moved to AZ and have had on going carpal tunnel issues. After about a year, I decided to schedule surgery on both wrists both weeks apart. Surgery was scheduled in September for November 6, 2021. I scheduled it for this date because I was getting married in October. October 6, I get a call asking to move the surgery up because Dr Sharitan is leaving the practice. I said I could not because I am getting married. They called me back saying Dr Sussman could so the surgery and set me up with an apt with him. I met him yesterday and he went over everything he was going to do in the surgery and told me he was going to send my pain meds in this week so I don't have to pick them up after the surgery. The assistant look puzzled when I said the surgery was scheduled but did not say anything to me. In my gut, I felt something wasn't right so I called today to confirm AND WAS TOLD THE SURGERY WAS CANCELLED!! NO ONE, NOT ON THE PHONE NOR AT THE OFFICE YESTERDAY TOLD ME THE SURGERY WAS CANCELLED. I mean, here I am meeting the surgeon and he was going over the procedure I was told was doing it. I started my disability claim with work, my husband took off and I was ready to go. I cannot even tell you how upset I am. I feel like I am being passed around and no one cares. Now I am told they can get another surgeon maybe for Monday to keep my original date since Dr Sussman does not do surgeries on Mondays or maybe Dr Sussman can do it November 12th. I will not know until tomorrow, no apology no we will fix this. I just feel like I am on the pay no mind list. This is not how it is suppose to go! I am sure the surgeons are find but the craziness of the office is disheartening. I am so mad I want to speak with the office manager. I hope to have some good news tomorrow but, needless to say I am curranty upset and hope they can rectify this because I need this surgery to happen no later than next week. read more

My appointment was set for over a month because I wanted to see Dr. Betty Hindrix Davis, MD. When I finally had my appointment, I did see her first. When she started the procedure after a few minutes she then handed me over to her intern and rushed out to her next client. I feel she even rushed me when I asked her a question. The staff in the back office were very loud, rude and unprofessional. Acting like a bunch of teenagers standing around talking about this one and that one. Was seen for a mole that I have had forever but was nagged into seeing a doc. They cut it out and I was rushed into what looked like was an operating room for the "plastics" closure. Little did I know that they do this so they could bill out of network for another bill (in addition to cutting it out) and that same bill gets passed onto me! Now I am stuck fighting this bill for something clearly that could have been closed with two stitches in an urgent care!! Not to mention the closure reopened and no one bothered seeing me again so now I am left with a scar bigger than the mole they cut out!! This place is scam and the docs here are crooks!! read more

We live in the East Valley but still chose Dr. Mussman to work on my Childs hand, based off a referral from a friend. We are certainly glad we did. The front office service is good. I got my appointments and medications filled promptly with no issues. I used to see Allison the NP here for eczema and medications. She was very friendly and would personally call me to check up on me. I decided to see Dr. Davis now. While she was also friendly, my first visit with her she seemed rushed. I understand that that may have been a busy day. At least she was able to address all my concerns. Dr. Davis was also willing to prescribe my medications for the Dr. Aron regimen for eczema, so if anyone needs that prescribed she can do it. read more

Dr Mussman, is one if the nicest and hard working person. I had 5 surgeries for Fourniers gangre and he was present at everyone. After I left the hospital I went to a Reagan place to take care of my colostomy that Dr Mussman and another surgeon did. It was so I can heal property and not have fecal matter re infect this huge wound. It worked and 3 months later I was dicharge from rehad. I went a seen my Urologist and sent me to Dr Mussman since my colostomy was3 still in he could reconct my buttocks and maybe make a scrotum to facilitate my testicle. WELL, I got to his office and he looked at the fleshiness that I had left. He then decide he wasn't able to do it and said to ask other plastic guys to do it. He was really nice when said with a touch of arrogance hope you find some body. I did. Now all I ask Dr Mussman will apologise to me for his mistake and ill apologise for being such a DICK, asshole and generally mad. I'm not mad now. You need to apologise for calling me a drug addict. I don't want it to be litigious but it can easily be that way. It could ruin my career and could ruin your. Think about. I was an Orthopedic P.A. at UT for 25 yrs so I'm not in informed. Other factors....Waiting room way too crowded during Covid, I thought the Doctor was pushy, dug a huge hole in my back rather than just a little sample to test, I told them I wasn't going back to them and they won't let me alone now. This office is absolutely amazing! My daughter had a visit on the dermatologist side a few months ago, the PA and Medical Assistant made her feel very comfortable (she was scared). We all left very impressed with the whole appointment from start to finish! Last week unfortunately my son broke his hand. I called Regency and they got us in right away with the plastic surgeon Dr.Mussman. Again, another amazing appointment! Dr. Mussman has great bedside manner, explained everything to us in detail, answered all our questions, and most importantly made my son feel comfortable in a very scary situation for him. I went for my adult acne which isn't horrible but I needed some direction. The office was very clean and well decorated. The girl in the front desk was polite and quickly got me in for my appointment. The lady who helped me for the doctor came in was so sweet and helped me with coupons for my prescription. The doctor was in and out quickly listened well and got me on my way. I think I was there less then an hr in total which as a single mom I need to be in and out of appointments and can't be waiting around in an office for 45+ mins. Great service. Great prices. I get chemical peels done for my melasma every 3 months. I was going to a cosmetologist and I had to go back on this monthly but this peel lasted 3 months and it has barely come back. So this has saved me a lot of money being able to space them out every 3 months. They are very timely and warm there. I really like going there and feel like my feedback is valued and they do their best to meet the needs of the clients. Lobby was cute and the receptionist and medical assistant was nice. However, I was highly unsatisfied with the visit. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me and didn't even physically exam my skin. She just came in and told me all the prescriptions she was going to prescribe me. I do not consider this adequate care. I had a mole surgically removed from my back by Dr Carr and was stitched up by Dr Michalke. The following day I started to experience pain and by Saturday I could barely get out of bed. I called their emergency line and their first response was you need to get up and move around, I told the person on call that it hurt so bad I couldn't get up. She prescribed me pain medication which only masked what was happening to my back. I ended up back in their office and was told I had a bacteria infection. A drain was placed in my back and I was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics, the Doctor did not even schedule a follow up appointment. The infection was not getting better so I called in and complained and was told to come back in and a second drain was put in. It has now been over a month and I am finally healing. My Brother who is a Doctor believes my back was not properly sterilized prior to the mole being cut out, that is how these infections usually begin. I will never trust this business again, this was one of the most painful experiences I have ever been through. read more

I came here on May 26th, 2018. I met Doctor Stephanie. She was amazing. I had talked about my keloid scar and told her that i had already treament four times in My country Indonesia. I asked her if she might have a different method compare to my doctor. She explained the whole procedures that they have and We come up with the same treatment I had before. She was sorry for unable to give enlightment with a new method which was not her fault. So, she offered me to have an injection with steroid for free or refund my money ( I paid with cash since I didn't have insurance). Since I don't stay long in here, I decided to have no treatment. follow up the progress after treatment was also one of the reason I didnt take it. At the end, she refund my money and I was surprise that she was so nice, friendly, honest, responsible, professional, and care. That was my first experience in my life I had this kind of service from a doctor. She's amazing. I will recomended her to my friends and family from my country to this Doctor. I had an appointment today at 1:00 PM to see the hand specialist. I arrive at the office and was informed that they had scheduled me, with the wrong doctor. I drove about 45 minutes to get to the office. I had seen an excellent doctor before to help with some issues in my fingers. One of the assistants let me know that the surgeon was in a case and that if I was willing to wait 1 1/2 hours to see him. I was not able to wait such a long time, when I asked why I did not get a call before, she proceeded to tell me that she had called and left a voice mail. What she doesn't know is that I overhear one of the other assistants say once I arrived, "she's the person that she was TRYING to call". I didn't receive a phone call or voice call. Very disappointed in their customer service. I will not be returning, and I really like my first doctor. read more

5-stars for Dr. Betty Davis. 1-star for the wait. I brought my 87 yr old mother in at 8:30am as requested (she was a new patient) for a 9am appointment. She was seen at 10:05 am. All six chairs in the tiny waiting room were occupied, and two additional patients were standing. Someone gave up their chair for my mom (87 with Alzheimers) so then there were four of us standing (three patients and myself). My mother was finally moved to a exam room at 9:45 am but not examined until 10:05am. The examine took just eight minutes. Dr. Betty Davis appeared very competent and her delightful manner was a bonus. I recommend her, but bring your own chair which you may have to set up outside. read more

I would drive from Avondale to 44th St and Camelback for my old derm office...now I refer all my west valley peeps here at Regency and is even worth the drive for others outside the west valley! The waiting room is super spacious, front staff is friendly and very welcoming, and my 1x1 felt so personable but professional.
