She was thorough, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure we understood the next steps. Her communication and professionalism really helped ease our concerns. My husband needed several biopsies done, and if you've ever had a skin biopsy, you know the numbing process can be one of the most uncomfortable parts. The medical assistant was amazing. She did everything she could to keep him calm, explain what was happening, and make the process as quick and comfortable as possible. The office itself was very clean, and the entire staff was welcoming and kind. Going through something as stressful as skin cancer evaluations can be overwhelming, but this team made us feel like we were in good hands. Robeta Thiede----Impersonal human being. Had little interest in me. Hanging near the door to leave during my appointment. My insurance co. refused RX she prescribed and she refused to explain why it was necessary. After THREE weeks my insurance company called her for an explanation or recommendation for alternative. One month later I called asked for office manager, to important to speak with me! Five calls, either got hung up on or a run around. Still no answer, thinking of telling Ins. company to not pay them at all. Still have ZERO meds. Appointment reminders do not appear to be a priority for this practice, which made scheduling during the holiday season particularly challenging, especially for a new patient. Asked for a laser hair removal price over the phone. They made me make an appointment and pay $50 for a "consultation" that consisted of nothing more than quoting an insanely expensive price they could have quoted me over the phone. I'm out my time and gas for the trip over there, not to mention the $50. Absolutely sleazy business practice. I had no issues with them as a patient the one time I went, but after this, I'm never going back again. I'll find a different dermatologist if they're going to pull this nonsense. read more

I have seen Tiffany a few times and have always been happy with our visits. She does talk really fast so I have to focus on her words. So I would not recommend her if you have any hearing loss, because you'll miss a lot. Appts are quick and the office seems to stay on time. MAs seem over it, but they're not rude. I needed to take my 3 year old to a dermatologist and Desert Sky was able to get us in within the week. The scheduling staff was very kind and helpful. We saw Dr Hannah Hill and she was very professional and knowledgeable. She had to run a test on my daughter and she brought her a juice box and fidget toys to help distract her. I made appointments for 2 of my children over a month ago. Nothing was ever said about my insurance not being taken at this practice any more. They are listed on my provider list. I then get a confirmation text on Sunday for their Wednesday appointments. Again, nothing said about my insurance no longer being taken here. We get to the appointments, which I had to pull my kids out of school for, just to be told that they found out a week ago they would no longer take this insurance. This was clearly well before the confirmation text, plus they had Monday and Tuesday to call me to let me know. My children are on specialty medicine for eczema, so knowing sooner that I would need to find a different dermatologist would have been appreciated. I wish I could charge them a cancellation fee for not giving me 24 hours notice. This practice needs to work on communication. read more

Couldn't get into a dermatologist to save my life even after multiple referrals in my home state so my niece fly to AZ we'll get you in. Fly down, Wed to have two sessions they scheduled back to back. The doctor Ed off the charts phenomenal and the MA's that did all the work were fantastic. They have patient rooms while you wait between testing that were filled with snacks and drinks. Great location close to San Tan Mall and the box boxes. I came in with a skin issue on my chest, and I left with skin issue on my chest AND im out $600. Be careful when they throw around the word 'biopsy' (biopsy: something i didn't need and didn't help their diagnosis or treatment.) A tiny BIOPSY can cost ^^^$500? I'm out $600 and then this facility wants to nickle and dime me for POSTAGE because I asked for a copy of my chart (2 pages)? This place is an embarrassment to the medical community. read more

Updating review. The PA who did my Botox Brittany called and apologized. She explained that it was an honest mistake and that I should have never been charged the consultation fee. She asked me to call her directly with further questions or concerns. Very sincere and I appreciate her taking the ownership and apologizing and do believe it was an honest mistake. Latest 1-star reviews are telling. This business used to offer great support, but it's non-existent now. Both offices have the same contact info for scheduling. Scheduling gets routed to voicemail, then SMS (Klara AI). No one replies to SMS. Website 'Contact Us' loops you to the phone number no one answers. Online scheduling isn't an option. Have tried to contact scheduling for over a week at different times, days, and no one ever answers, or returns a voicemail or SMS. For those looking to schedule with this provider, consider finding an alternate provider on ZocDoc (web friendly, no app required). I found an alternate provider, viewed their availability by doctor, and scheduled an appointment just now--literally within minutes using ZocDoc. UPDATE: If you're having trouble contacting this provider, consider leaving a review. Yelp reviews seem to be a platform that is actively monitored. She was so friendly and knowledgeable compared to my previous experience at Saguaro. The difference was a night and day difference. The front office staff are super friendly. They were so fast and the doctor was on time! Dr Wing was thorough and friendly and got my care plan all set up! I subsequently had Mohs Surgery by Dr Rkein. I was prepared to spend all day there because I was forewarned of the possibility. The waiting rooms in which we had to wait while they tested the samples were well stocked with drinks and snacks. All of us waiting in there started talking and laughing - it was as if we were having a social outing. It was wonderful! I love this place. Hope I'm not a regular there - but if my past sunshine worshipping days put me back there, I know I am in great hands! read more

The Gilbert office is nice and the new Mesa office is even nicer--brand new and clean. However, this practice is clearly running on a health insurance model which is a 'get them in and out as fast as possible in order to bill the insurance as much as possible as fast as possible.' The problem with practices who operate like this is the impersonalization. The receptionist actually told me all appointments are only ten minutes long so forget being even a minute late because then you'll only have 9 minutes with the doctor. As a result of this quick appointment turnaround, Dr. Woods is clearly running around in such a frenetic frenzy that he seems annoyed, rushed, and almost irritable. I went for a skin condition and also requested Botox--the later being a mistake. I've learned never to receive treatment for any medical need from offices who's primary motivation is profit via cashing in from insurance companies. No good ever comes out of rushing; particularly if one's case is complicated. Forget asking additional questions or getting the doctor back in the room should you and additional question come to mind as the doctor is leaving or has left the room. I also would not suggest Botox or anything cosmetic with a doctor who is in such a frenzy. My Botox here was not done in entirety or properly and lasted maybe a month or so at best. I will look for an office who's primary motive isn't profit and will look for someone who actually sits down in a calm, caring, unhurried manner. We, after all, are the paying client and our time and health deserves more. It's too bad because the office and staff are nice and the practice has potential but, as it stands, I wouldn't recommend this office. read more

I have been going here for many years. At first I was very satisfied, but over time the service from the staff and physician assistants has greatly deteriorated. I had a biopsy in February 2023 that showed basal cell carcinoma. I did not receive a call with the results until May 24, 2023. I used to see Dr. Rkein for all my appointments but the office became so busy that the office told me that I needed to switch to seeing a PA for my six-month checkups. That was fine, but the first one was so arrogant and condescending I had to switch to a different PA. And that's when I never got my biopsy results for 4 months. I saw Dr Hill at the new Mesa location and I have definitely found a dermatologist I can trust moving forward. I went for a routine skin exam since my brother had been diagnosed with melanoma last year. Dr Hill did a thorough exam without making me feel less than human, (which I have experienced at a dermatologist's office in the past.). I was seen quickly, all the staff were kind and warm.
