Be very careful of this office!!! I had a first time visit with Dr Killpack for skin assessment with a history of skin cancer. He attempted to perform an assessment while I was dressed in street clothes. First time for everything. He did NOT visualize large areas of my body at risk for skin cancer. No treatment was done in the office but later I got a bill that they performed a procedure to remove one of my lesions which they did not and the doctor even documented that the procedure was done. When I called I spoke to the billing people who asked me 4 times if I had the procedure performed to which I told her no. Malpractice and insurance fraud!!! read more

I went to Sunrise Dermatology for hormonal acne. As I have gotten older, my skin has changed tremendously. Although they were a little booked out, I was okay with that! I saw Dr K Parker and he was great! The staff were very welcoming. I was extremely self conscious about my acne, however everyone made me feel comfortable. Almost 3 months later and my hormonal acne is minimal. read more

Dr Kendal Packer is extremely knowledgeable and treats his patients with full attention.

Awful experience and would never recommend this office. I never saw a doctor as I waited in the waiting room for over an hour with no updates. When I walked up to the front desk to tell them I was leaving all I was told was "Yeah. The doctor is running late. " I can't tell you if the Care received was good because I never made it that far. If their front desk is any indication of the care given it is very poor. read more

Just wanted to mention the great staff here at Sunrise Dermatology. I have been here twice and had outstanding experiences. I saw Kendal Packer PA-C on both visits and loved his approach to treatment and patient care. He is such a personable healthcare professional very informed and detailed with his explanations of my issues. I had a minor surgery performed. Between Kendal and his nurse assistant (sadly did not get her name) the experience was so easy. I highly recommend this team. read more

This place has their act together! The office staff, nurses and doctors are great! I was there because of a spot on my arm which ended up being cancer and needed to have surgery for removal. The entire team made it a pleasant experience believe it or not. Highly recommend this practice. read more

I went in for warts on my hand. I sat on the bench. He came in told me to go to Amazon and buy something. Then came in with liquid nitrogen and said we CAN do this too. Sprayed a few of them. Which didn't do anything. Then I left. And a month later I get a bill for $250?? I was never told i owed anything. I had to go and find my own stuff for it. And there's no payment plan options at all. I will not be returning for a follow up and will most likely have to let it go to collections for I was not well informed or prepared for it to be that expensive. Lack of communication. I feel used like he knew that I wouldn't know about it. read more

Great experience here for my teenage daughter. Very nice very helpful. One of the most knowledgeable and genuine doctors we have met

Came here for a second opinion and the whole appointment went smoothly. Arrived 15 mins early and had paperwork already filled out from online. Only wait a few minutes to be soon. The nurse and doctor both listened to my concerns and made sure all my questions were answered. The doctor even looked up close at my issue instead of just glancing at it like some other doctors do. I appreciated their information and left reassured. Clean office and good location on 4th floor of building. read more

I needed a skin biopsy and I was so nervous and my anxiety was bad but everyone at the office made me feel comfortable, reassured, calm and made it a painless procedure. Wait time was great, I maybe waited 10-15min to get called back (which they apologized and said it was a busy morning but I am used to being stuck in waiting rooms forever so I thought it was great) and only a few minutes for the doctor. I definitely would recommend sunrise dermatology. read more

Dr. Killpack is exceptional. He genuinely cares for my and my wife's well being. His staff is also amazing. His chairside manner is to make the patient feel comfortable and in the hands of one who is knowledgeable and can truly help. There are other dermatologists who are closer to where we live, but driving the extra miles to his office is well worth it. If you're looking for a great dermatologist in the Phoenix metro area, he's the one! read more

There are so many good things to say about Dr. Killpack and his cheerful, helpful staff. They always try to fit you in for an appt. soon. The waiting room is pleasant, and I've never had to wait very long to see Dr. K. As other reviewers have said, he is very knowledgeable and thorough during his exam/treatments. He talks with you like you're a friend explaining everything he does for you putting you at ease. I always feel lighter after my visits. The drive from Chandler is definitely worth it! read more

I'm really picky about who I see for my skin as I've had a few issues and don't just want a pharmaceutical solution. I was very impressed with my first visit to Dr. Killpack. He took the time to listen and was very knowledgeable. First time seeing a dermatologist I didn't need something frozen or cut off my skin! Appreciate that. Feel confident in having him as my provider for skin issues. read more

Can't say enough about how great this place is. After having gone to other dermatologists, I was cautiously optimistic about trying another place since every place so far had been trying to upsell procedures or treat me like "just another patient". I was greeted professionally and friendly. Met with the assistant first who was also friendly and professional. I was asked about my concerns and brief history. Then I met with the doctor who truly cared and listened to my concerns addressing each one. I will definitely making Sunrise Dermatology my new dermatologist. Thank you. read more

Came to Sunrise as a recommendation of a friend. She did not steer me wrong. The front desk staff is wonderful, especially Shannon. Very helpful, patient and kind. Dr Killpak has an great bedside manner and explains everything throughly. Had a procedure done and healed nicely. They were definitely not the closest place for me to go to being that I'm 30 mins away, but I will certainly make that drive again based on my experience and not go anywhere else. read more

Staff is fantastic! The Dr. was through about the acne problem I was having. I was in and out very quickly.

BEST DERMATOLOGIST I have ever seen. I was having a severe allergic reaction they got me in right away and helped me with my eczema. They were kind and compassionate and even considerate to the fact that I did not currently have insurance. Bless them! read more

Had an appointment today to have a few spots looked at on my head and stomach. I've been to a few different dermatologists and Sunrise has been by far the best overall experience. In and out quickly, no upselling and just good honest information. Had a small procedure done and it was quick and painless. Great place to consider if you're looking for a competent, friendly, no nonsense dermatologist. read more

Every person at the clinic is wonderful . I had to get in as a last minute and they were super accommodating and friendly every step of the way. Dr. Kilpack was not hurried at all and spent time totally focused and listened to all my concerns and questions. I would recommend them 100% with not a single hesitation. Great people and very knowledgeable. read more

Dr. Killpack isn't a good dermatologist but, instead, a truly great one. He was extremely patient, informative, thoughtful and caring. He listened patiently to my concerns, gave great advice, prescribed without requiring follow-ups and is the BEST dermatologist I've ever had. He was also a great surgeon, as well. I can't recommend him highly enough. It's really hard to find a good dermatologist... and near impossible to find a great one. Thanks to him, Mission: Impossible... accomplished. :) read more

Please stay away. No one knows what they are doing or how to deal with people. Also they don't want service dogs in their office. Another client had to help me. Told me to come at 12:45 but no one was there until 1:00. Told me on the phone that they take Cigna but they don't. Had to finally just leave , never seeing a medical person after 45 minutes. So glad I'm home to find a real doctor. read more

I went to this office over a year ago and loved the doctor who saw me. Unfortunately, she doesn't work for them anymore. So when I was taking my daughter in regarding her acne, we got the PA. This lady basically stated that there are only two ways in this universe to get rid of acne: long term antibiotics (with an accompanying cream), and Accutane (which she dissuaded us from using). When I asked for more clarification about taking antibiotics for long term (she said my daughter should take it for as long as she had acne, which would probably be years), instead of nicely trying to assuage my fears, she got very defensive and snarky! Like, how dare I ask a follow up question of the great and powerful dermatology Physician's Assistant! She was short with me, condescending, and couldn't be bothered with my inquiries. Very unprofessional, never again. read more

I highly recommend this office. Shannon was awesome and was able to get me in the same day for something that couldn't wait. Dr. K and his staff were amazing and I will definitely go back if I ever need to. Thanks Sunrise Dermatology! read more

Very disappointed in this office. Went for a pretty serious wound that appeared on my hand. The doctor I saw said she needed to get a swab done. She came back in a few minutes later and said they didn't have the lab supplies to do the swab at the moment. She asked if they could call me in an hour or so to come back up to get it done. I agreed. I never received a phone call from them. I called first thing the following morning to find out what was going on. They apologized and said they would call me soon when they get the stuff. They never called. I had to pay a second copay to go see another doctor who said it was MRSA. I totally felt this office did not care for my well being at all. read more

From the moment I walked through the front door, I was greeted by the front office staff. I was seen on time by Wendy Adelman. She was professional, kind and knowledgeable. Again Wendy Adelman did a fantastic job explaining the procedure and was very gentle. I highly recommend Sunrise Dermatology for any of your skin care needs! read more

After calling many dermatologist and couldnt get an appointment for at least a month out sunrise came through. I called when they first opened and explained my 11 year old needed to see someone quick the emergency room couldn't tell me what was wrong. So understanding she said she would fit me in because they were booked but I was stressed not knowing what was going on with my daughters skin. I got there and the staff was amazing, and helpful. Dr. K was the best hands down took his time and talked with my daughter about her extreme skin rash. Me and my daughter can sleep alot easier knowing we're in good hands. Dr. K did not play a guessing game like others he was confident in his diagnosis. Everyone at Sunrise that seen us we want to thank you.
