WARNING Imagine being told you had cancer and then trying to get ahold of your doctor only to be ignored by uncaring staff. This review honestly pains me to post as I rarely post negative reviews. Unfortunately the staff at Bingham Dermatology has burned the relationship between my husband and Dr. Bingham. We have found kindness and willingness to serve with Summit View Dermatology. My husband had an appointment with Ryan Bingham. He had a biopsy done. After waiting for results an employee by the name of Lilly left him a voicemail on October 8th saying the biopsy result was in and he needed to contact them to schedule an appointment for treatment. Very unprofessional message left. Should have said come in for results. He was left very stressed. He called many times. They simply do not answer their phones. They do not return phone calls. Now a week later and 6 messages still no reply. The emotional stress has caused harm. If I do not get a reply and apology from Dr. Ryan Bingham in regard to his unprofessional staff I will be contacting the state medical board and ama code of conduct in regard to my husbands emotional stress which has caused him harm. My husband is upset and very disappointed that his relationship with Dr. Ryan Bingham had to end this way. read more

I got doctor clark after having a poor experience at a previous dermatology office not affiliated with them I felt discouraged going to another but my mom referred them to me and they were so understanding of my insecurities regarding my visit and were so kind and understanding and did what I requested done. I was blessed enough to be referred to Bingham Dermatology over a year ago. I spent a lot of time in the sun so I'm familiar with all the different Dermatology offices and I have to say I felt so at home and so cared for like part of the family a year ago that when my doctor said OK I'm gonna refer you. Do you wanna go somewhere? I said yes back to Bingham. Well, I had another visit today with one of the three brothers and he was so caring and so considerate. He took his time looking over my body, making sure there was nothing else that he missed. This is a breath of fresh air because today most medical providers, just want you in and out. All the way from check-in to check out was the most wonderful warm experience and I just cannot say enough good things about this wonderful practice. No one ever answers the phones. My grandmother has been waiting over 3 weeks for biopsy results. She has not received a call or email. We've called numerous times and have left voicemails for Crystal at the front desk and Clark's assistant and never receive a call back. Not to mention, she never received a call to check on her after the biopsy. This is RIDICULOUS! I would not recommend Bingham Dermatology!! read more

To schedule an appointment, call every 30 minutes until you luck out and someone answers the phone. Their phone system doesn't work well and management doesn't seem to care. I called in four times in a row and I was told to "press one" to schedule an appointment and never did I get through to somebody. Then I called back and left a message for the Office Manager and she never returned my phone call. The next day, I went into the office and spoke with the Manager and found out that's just the way it is with the Cox phone system. I waited to schedule an appointment and even though there were 4-5 employees behind the desk, nobody was helping me to schedule an appointment. The waiting area is clean and stylish. Having been there several times now let me tell you what I found. This is the finest dermatological practice I have seen in over sixty years of care. I had severe skin conditions all my life. Recently had multiple problems. One prevented me from putting on my boots. One visit fixed me up there. Had some skin growths removed. You are going to come up to a really nice stand-alone building with primo Disabled access. When you arrive, you will be greeted as family. The Front Office is a favorite of mine. And I have White-coat syndrome! The Assistant always will give you an idea of the Physician. In this case the Assistants in their gentle professional manner do directly reflect what you will encounter with the Three Bingham Brothers. Three Doctor-Brother-Partners that anchor a Family Practice of the highest order. I recommend them without question. read more

I am so impressed by this place. I reached out to them a few weeks ago looking around for a derm and they stood out to me based on their reviews. While I admit it was a little tricky to get an appointment at first (they are quite busy and having some phone machine troubles) I am glad I persisted because I couldn't be happier with this place as a whole. All the gals that work the phones and desk are super nice. They also try their best to work with you if you have financial concerns. For my procedures I was set up with Ryan, a physician assistant, and couldn't be happier with him as well. He clearly knows what he is talking about and doing, is very proactive/efficient and listens to your concerns. My stitches are healing incredibly well. I have visited him 3 times now and would prefer to see him again if I needed anything else. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fortunately I live quite close, but if I ever moved, I would go out of my way to go back to them. read more

Switched to a new dermatologist today. Met with Dr. Ryan Bingham and he was great. Listened to my thoughts and ideas and offered up some new ways to approach my mild skin redness. No nonsense is great and I didn't have to wait very long after filling out my new patient paperwork (now, electronic). The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I am glad I found this new practice and it is so much closer to home. The place is clean and most people wear masks out of respect to what you like to see. As a majority of people are vaccinated, so are his staff so the risk is low . If you are not vaccinated, don't be critical of people who are by saying they don't care. I recently made the decision to have a voluntary skin check. I've spent lots of time on the So Cal beaches, I own a boat, and I've lived in Arizona for over 25 years - my skin has seen its share of sunshine! I spoke to my PCP, and he submitted a referral to a dermatologist (not Bingham Dermatology). I followed up with THAT office, and they ended up performing a biopsy on a suspicious bump that I expressed concern over. The biopsy came back positive for Basal Cell Carcinoma. Although the staff at that practice was nice, I didn't have a good feeling about them. Likewise, their reviews were sparse, and overwhelmingly poor. I wanted a second opinion, and I wanted to see a dermatologist who had some positive feedback! After much research, I discovered Bingham Dermatology. I had my PCP re-do the referral, and I made my appointment. Upon my arrival at Bingham Dermatology, I was met with a comfortable waiting room, and extremely friendly office staff. I was nervous, but the ladies up front immediately put me at ease. I was cautiously optimistic about how things would go. After a short wait, I was taken back to see Ryan Bingham, PA-C. Within a few seconds of speaking with Ryan, I knew I had struck gold. I've worked in healthcare, and I've dealt with my share of medical professionals - some good, and some bad. Believe me when I say that Ryan is absolutely the best of the best. Eye contact, human touch, heartfelt empathy, and absolute professionalism is what he is all about. Ryan answered my questions, listened to my concerns, and made me feel like I was his only patient that day. In the end, he recommended I return for a MOHS procedure with his brother, Dr Jeremy Bingham. Fast forward a couple weeks, and I am back in the office for my procedure. I was very nervous, and did not sleep well the night before. The staff was extremely compassionate and supportive. Just when I thought I'd seen all this practice has to offer, in walks Dr. Bingham. He looked me in the eye, he evaluated my nose, he touched, pondered, and discussed what his thoughts were. He spent a lot of time with me - once again I felt like I was the only patient in the entire office. In the end, we decided (I say "we" because he involved me in the decision) to take a more conservative approach to treating the BCC on my nose. MOHS was put aside, and an ED & C procedure was done. Dr. Bingham was extremely gentile. I absolutely cannot say enough about him - from his incredible bedside manner to his exemplary professionalism, he is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting - he, too, is the best of the best. Period. It's been a couple of weeks, and I'm healing well. I'm comforted by the fact that I've found an incredible dermatology practice that is there if I need them. Don't be afraid to get your skin checked. Don't be embarrassed to have someone look at your body. The skin is the body's largest organ - it needs to be taken care of, examined, and treated, if necessary. Have a skin question, care, or concern? GUITAR PLAYER'S DELIGHT I had a wart on my left index finger that was uncomfortable when playing bar chords. The VA froze it 3 years ago, l but it remained. Dr. Jeremy Bingham, is the most fun doctor I've been around lately! Talks to me at eye-level, and is easy to joke with. But his treatment was so surprising and effective! He gave me three injections to numb the finger, then used a curled razor blade to scoop out the entire wart. He cauterized the open cut so it wouldn't bleed, and I was on my way. By mid afternoon, the numbness was gone and I have no pain. I am back on guitar with no discomfort. He took off his mask when he saw that I wasn't wearing one. No hassle. No drama. I did ask the desk ladies why they wore masks when Governor Ducey said it wasn't necessary. They smiled kindly and said they had not yet received the official word from the office manager, but that they were happy to see my face. Dr. Bingham is highly recommended! read more

My 4 year old developed a angioma on his face. I called the office and the staff was quick to answer the phone and very pleasant to speak with. I was able to schedule an appointment for that same week. We saw Ryan Bingham at that visit. He was very kind, knowledgeable and informative. We decided at that time no treatment was the best option. A few weeks later the angioma started to bleed and would not stop. I called Dr Bingham's office and were told to come in THE SAME DAY!!! Amazing!! Dr. Bingham has exceptional bedside manners. He cares. Looks you in the eye when talking to you. Explains the diagnosis, and medication or treatment. Staff is friendly, professional, and good at their job. However, I came in because of a rash. He diagnosed it as acne. And he prescribed a wash with only 3% benzoyl peroxide. I was able to get the wash over the counter with 10%. The pharmacist explained that the prescription he called in was not going to work very well. So, even though he has great bedside manners and obviously he's a good dermatologist having won the best dermatologist award, I don't think he did much good for my situation read more

I noticed several months after my visit that there was a duplicate charge on my card from this doctor. When I called to handle it Ashley asked if someone else from my family came in on that same da? I said no. Then I was placed on hold & this made me more upset so I called back 1x. When Ashley answers she abruptly asks me " Why do you keep calling & hanging up?" I said it was one time & I got tired of holding & my time is equally important. She starts talking over me & would not allow me to get a word in. Everything works smoothly until they make a mistake & owe you. Then you have to fight to get your money back. How is that right? No one cares .. read more

I have been a patient here for a few years. I love the actual dermatologist and have take my children there for various appointments. Lately getting an appointment or even a phone call returned is impossible. I have tried several times in the last couple weeks. I just needed a prescription refill. But was happy to make an appointment if I needed to. I had my pharmacy fax in a refill request 2 different times. Left several messages. No response or call backs. I tried calling multiple times and even one of the phone call days when I actually got through they put me on hold for 25mins. I just thought they forgot about me so I hung up and tried calling back. They proceeded to just pick the phone up and hang up on me 3 times in a row. Maybe they were busy that day or something but I don't understand why I never got a phone call back. I will not be returning to this office and won't recommend it to anyone. read more

Great doctor but unfortunately refuses to follow CDC guidelines to wear masks in medical establishments. I read a former review where a patient reported his concern that a staff there told him she had a right not to wear a mask if she didn't want to. I did call myself and sure enough I was informed staff are not required to wear masks and they don't. Now there are 3,600 covid 19 confirmed cases a day in Az! Unfortunately this is a state where people refuse to get COVID19 shots. There are still thousands of people hospitalized in az due to covid. Even when people get the shot they could still be contagious. This is why CDC suggests wearing masks on medical establishments. This demonstrates lack of concern for the safety of immune compromised patients in a state that does not comply with vaccine mandate. Can go somewhere else that cares. read more

I'm am leaving one star because I have to, but Dr. Clark deserves NO Stars. Scheduled appointment was for 1) bumpy rash on my forehead that seems to be spreading. 2) recommendation for skincare. Dr. Clark NEVER examined my skin, only looked at it from afar (at least 3-4 ft away. Asked several questions, which I answered no to. Concluded that it was yeast. I asked him why he thought that, and he responded, because that's what it is. Prescribed Ketoconazole for 3 wks. I then Asked about skincare, told him I was vegan, and wanted a cruelty free product. He commenced with I don't know anything about that, and used extremely demeaning statements which included but was not limited to: go look on Reddit, then compared animal testing to pulling a plant out of the dirt, said the plant and dirt hurt too, etc. I told him that I paid for an appt to get a professional recommendation (for I have already spent hundreds of dollars on products that have not worked from my overly dry skin) that perhaps if he didn't know anything, he can do a few min of research and find something for me. He said he "guessed he could do that, even though NOBODY has ever asked him for that before" As I was responding to that statement, literally talking, he got up, handed me my papers and said go up to the front desk to check out. And left. That appt was literally 5 minutes. I was belittled, demeaned, and really betrayed by him as a professional. To make matters worse, since he never examined me, after 3 weeks of using the ketaconzale, I still have the bumpy rash. I sent them a feedback form, sent a separate email, and left a VM for the office manager. NO response from the office. Nothing. This is what I am left with. I Never got an examination, just a prescription. He should NEVER be allowed to treat and speak to a patient like that. More old school than the new corporate owned practices who seem only to be interested in doing more tests more appointments and more billing. Dear fellow Yelpers, it breaks my heart to submit this negative review on Bingham Dermatology. I was first to review this practice and provided multiple positive 5 star reviews as well as photos. I've been a patient of Dr. Bingham since 2014 and had been totally satisfied with the entire overall experience with him and his staff (Please see my previous reviews and pics). This negative experience occurred over a period of four plus weeks during July and August concerning a simple refill on a medication used (Clindamyiacin & Benzoyl Peroxide) to treat occasional adult acne and reduce further outbreaks. I began the refill request (refills valid until the end of September 2017). on July 27th I left a detailed voicemail for Crystal, the office manager, requesting a refill as dictated by Walgreens Pharmacy due to a new insurance company that I started with in January. Over the next 4 weeks, in spite of providing my latest insurance card and kindly requesting follow up status from Crystal, the office manager, no action or follow up was ever received. Finally, on Thursday, August 24th, a full month after my original request, being fed up with a TOTAL lack of response, to my phone calls and email, I visited Bingham Dermatology here in Mesa in person to seek a resolution. I was informed Dr. Bingham was performing surgery and was not available. Crystal, the office manager came to the front desk where I civilly described my situation and frustration. Crystal was utterly amazing in deflecting blame and threw her two front desk colleagues under the bus by claiming she'd only received my insurance card as an attachment the week before but not my accompanying email describing my frustration and request for ANY type of follow up. Mind you, this was in addition to my multiple voicemail requesting a follow-up. Bless their hearts, you should have seen the look of disbelief and disappointment on the faces of her front desk colleagues when she pointed to both of them when I asked who would have forwarded my info to her. Her response "It's not my fault and I've been very busy" are you kidding me?!! She then offered a totally insincere apology. Amazingly disappointing conduct and response from the #2 person at Bingham Dermatology. I'd like to mention that Crystal accused me of "yelling" at her. I can assure you my fellow Yelpers, I did no such thing. I immediately challenged Crystals accusation and reaffirmed to her that I had not raised my voice or used any profanity. She then narrowed it down that I had pointed my finger at her! Guilty as charged, I did point me finger at her from 6+ feet away where she was standing behind the front desk/counter. Being 5'1, I guess that I present an intimidating figure to her! Good God Crystal, really?!! Much to his credit, Dr. Bingham (an excellent, extremely competent professional, and a true people person) kindly reached out (your office manager needs to follow your example) to me the next day, Friday, Aug 25th with his personal cell # for after hours contact. I contacted him on his cell and provided a detailed overview and frustration of the TOTAL lack of response by Crystal, his office Mgr. Dr Bingham informed me this was an atypical situation from Crystal and that he would be looking into the matter. I sincerely hope he does so, otherwise his practice will lose additional clients, count on it. I take Atypical to mean not typical and or, is not the norm. However, this was NOT a one time incident as this occurred over a period of 4+ weeks with multiple attempts via phone and email concluding with me visiting finally their office in person out of frustration. No offense to you Dr. Bingham, I have serious doubts that this is a one time atypical incident with her. I can overlook one or two incidents, but 4 separate incidents 5 if you include my visit to your office to seek a status.) spread out over a month's time? In no way is that acceptable. Additionally, Crystal's efforts at attempting to deflect blame at ANY cost was extremely disappointing to both me, your client/patient, but to her colleagues as well. Dr. Bingham, her conduct and poor response is detrimental to your office team's cohesion and loyalty. If unchecked, your practice will continue to lose business. You and most of your staff have worked hard to build your business and positive reputation sir. Dear fellow Yelpers, this honestly pains me to post this as I've rarely posted negative reviews. Unfortunately as Crystal effectively burned the bridge between me and Bingham Dermatolgy, I will find another dermatologist, and thankfully, I have many choices. I have been to multiple dermatologist around the valley for my acne. This has by far been the best! Crystal was so sweet and helpful, Sonia always returned my calls when needed and was so helpful and nice on the phone. And when I went in to get surgery on my arm, They all made me feel comfortable and explained the procedure thoroughly. When Dr Bingham was performing the incision, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend which to me is awesome! Front desk is always helpful to me as well, sweet over the phone and in person! I have been seeing Dr. Bingham for over five years, at least twice a year. Until now I was quite happy going to his office and I thought he cared about his patients and was quite knowledgeable. This all changed with my last appointment, not quite two weeks ago. My wife and I both had appointments at the same time. When we arrived, the notice requiring face coverings was no longer posted at the door. Once inside, we saw at least six people sitting in the small waiting room with two people not wearing a mask. While we were in the waiting room (approximately 15 minutes) another three unmasked people came through and spent several minutes talking with the staff or on their phones. At that point my wife had had enough and went outside. Shortly after that, I told one of the staff that I did not feel safe with their lack of masking requirements and so I was leaving. I asked the person to have Dr. Bingham call me to discuss my concerns but neither he nor anyone else did. Given the number of people that I saw without masks in the short time I was there, I would be shocked if the examine rooms and furniture were being sanitized between patients. I actually feel safer going into a grocery store than I did in the doctor's office. If you believe wearing a mask is as important in a doctor's office as it is in a grocery store you should avoid this practice. read more

I so regret choosing to see Dr. Bingham. I had a non cancerous area on my chest. It specifically told the doctor that I did not want a scar! He payed no heed and froze a hole on my chest leaving me with a scar. I got a huge blister. I received no after care instructions... pop the blister? Yes no? It ended up healing into a white ugly scar. Turns out there were other options, creams, lasers etc. I now have a scar right on the middle of my chest. I don't understand why a skin doctor thinks this is ok? Please see photo. read more
