I have been seeing a different dermatologist that I will not mention his name, and I was highly recommended to see him, but was truly not treated properly and the problems on my face were never healing and I just kind of frustrated with how much they peeled and we're read all the time. Dr. Andrews is an incredible dermatologist. I have had issues with my extremely sensitive skin my entire life. I felt like I had tried everything and no one was taking the time to listen to me, so I was at my peak of frustration with the whole process. Dr. Andrews made sure to listen to all of my concerns and the treatments I had used in the past. He never made me feel like it was in my head or my fault. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile from Shannon. I was late and she still smiled. A good up on my end thinking my appointment was at 8:30 and it was at 8:00 am. Shannon was kind and told me it was going to be ok. I walked through the door at 8:07 rats. Now I'm late. I filled out the paperwork. I was taken to the back promptly. There I was seen by the doctor. Dr Nguyen walked in and had taken her time with me with my skin irritation. I loved the way Dr Nguyen talked to me about my skin irritation and how to treat the irritation. Scheduled a pediatric appointment with Dr. Andrews and I never had a doctor be so rude, dismissive and judgmental. It was the worst experience and so upsetting because all we were looking for was answers for our baby's severe eczema. Had an aggressive tone the entire time as if we were annoying him being there. I have struggled with acne for years. I've been to numerous dermatologists to find a solution to help, and all have fallen short. I was even told by another dermatologist's office that my face will "never be perfect". A little over a year ago I decided to give Dr. Nguyen a try. Since then, she has worked with me each appointment to find a better solution for my acne and my scars. Took 3 months to get an appointment, and not with a doctor. Arrived 1/2 hour prior to the scheduled time per their request and noted a number of signs stating what charges may be incurred for late cancellations or arrivals. Was not seen until 1/2 hour after my appointment time, so maybe I should have charged them for being late. My time is valuable too, folks. Very disappointed in their lack of communication and follow up. I had 4 biopsies taken last Wednesday with PA Anngela Edkins, and since then the areas continue to bleed and I have puss draining out of them. I am very allergic to all topical antibiotic cremes. I'm very concerned that I could get a blood infection so I've called 3 times and left 3 messages explaining the need for an antibiotic prescription. I have also this morning left a message through my portal with them. No response, no prescription. Obviously nobody in this practice sees the importance of my urgent messages. Can't get a live person. Right into voicemail. Very sad.......where is my health concern from any of them? I will now have to go to my primary care to provide the prescription. read more

Wow the reviews are polarizing for this office. Let me give my experiences. Appointment timing- Generally I have never had an issue getting an appointment within a week or two for a general checkup. The desk staff is very helpful to help find time. I would suggest if you have a real situation you are concerned about tell them. IE i had a growth on my hand that Ive had for years and it started to bleed and hurt. I let them know at about 2pm on a friday, I saw the doctor at 9am on saturday. Wait times- generally I would say they are pretty good usually I might see a doctor 10-15 min after my scheduled time. I will say that I'm completely ok with that even a little worse knowing that Dr. Nguyen and her staff try to fit people in that may need attention quickly. Pediatrics- We had to have a cyst removed from my then 2 year olds chest. I am still amazing that the doctor and her team did this without tears and no scar after. The office isnt primarily set up for kids so limited kids area, but seriously if you are a parent bring a tablet or books to keep them entertained. Its not the doctors job to entertain your child. Care- Dr Nguyen can be direct, but thats her job. She is the expert Im the one who needs to have abnormal moles removed. Ill take her direction. I can totally see some people who love webmd and think they know better. Not once have I felt like I had a procedure that was not called for or the wrong thing. Follow up - The team is quick to test any odd samples, usually you have results in a few days to a week. If I had follow ups it was due to some not so fortunate results that needed some attention. The staff always scheduled me quickly and the team has been great and has taken care to not butcher me up. I know Ill have a scare and if you have something removed, there will probably be a scare, dont be surprised about that... All in all a great practice, from Dr Nguyen to her Pa's and other docs the team has been great and super friendly. This is coming from someone who has dealt with melanoma and has to have their body checked every 6 months so I have seen many dermatologists over my 40 years and Im a big fan of this practice read more

I had a nice experience with this doctor's office. Although, I mainly worked with one of her nurses I felt completely taken care of. It's easy to book an appointment through ZocDoc and both times I've arrived at my appointment I was seen right away. This place just doesn't know what they are doing. I needed a refill for a med for my daughter, not sure why, it never seemed to work. She's been treated for 3/4 of her life here and they never knew what she had. Here's another steroid sample and when it runs out (because it's a tiny sample, you'll need to come back). Rude front desk, long waits, tiny rooms, nothing to entertain younger patients. And you'll never see the actual md. WARNING! WORST DOCTOR!!! I'm in total shock at the unprofessional treatment of Dr. Nguyen. There is something wrong with this doctor. She came into the appt with a shockingly rude demeanor. Then she seemed to get very upset when finding out that we were uninsured and paying the visit up-front and out of pocket and only could describe it as being berated. She actually did this on a few aspects during the appt. What took this appt to a whole other level of unprofessionalism is while totally undressed, and no shielding of the paper gown they have you put on, as the doctor is checking the entire body- she decides she needs something outside the room and abruptly walks out AND LEAVES THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE PATIENT NOT COVERED AT ALL!!!! After being humiliate, the doctor didn't even address the 1 mole that the appt was specifically about and that she had removed herself a year earlier... other than saying it's not good. WHAT A JOKE! I had an appointment scheduled for myself for simple sun spots that I had to book 4 weeks out. I decided to give the appt to my daughter instead to get a script for acne medication and they said "The doctor isn't able to talk about acne until the afternoons". WTF?!? I questioned this 3 times as this makes no sense. I said "I have 30 min scheduled with the doc, what difference does it make what I talk about? What if I said it was confidential?" Absolutely atrocious attitude the doctor had. She is so condescending and acts like she knows everything but obviousy doesn't know a single thing about Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. She also completely denies any connections between mold exposure and dermatological skin issuss / conditions which LITERALLY GOES AGAINST BASIC SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND FACTS. What a horribly selfish awful doctor who cares more about avoiding being involved in any potential litigation than actually helping patients avoid their triggers. She also literally got information wrong about my triggers of my rosacea. She wrote that sunlight triggers it but it doesn't. MOLD TRIGGERS IT!!!!!! UGH!!!! WATER DAMAGED BUILDINGS AND BLACK MOLD MAKE MY SKIN FLARE UP. She doesn't want to put that in writing though. Makes me so angry. Horrible doctor who cares only about making money. She also removed a mole and now I have a horribly itchy scar on my back that turned into a raised keloid scar. Wish I never wasted a minute with this doctor. I had nonstop fungal skin infections for like almost 2 years and would dig into my feet trying to relieve the itch and all she would do is prescribe the same cream that never worked EVER. Went to Dr Ngyuen for treatment of a skin condition. I have been to a lot of experts who where not able to help.
