Dr Lines removed a mole from in between my eyes and it looks great. It has been about 8 months and you can't even tell I had anything there.

Have been seeing Dr. Lines for about 6 months. Had to upgrade medication for acne as first type wasn't working. Dr. Lines seems very knowledgeable and is pleasant, personality is somewhat unique.. LOL At times communication could be a little better as far as explaining the details to where there completely understood. Front office staff are pleasant/ unless you have an issue with having to reschedule or cancel. They advise you that a $25 fee will be processed or charged to you for any cancelation in less than a 24 hour time frame. Had been given a list of location to get blood work done: three of the five locations were no longer in business. We found this out after going to each one of them. Pharmacy & location need to be on the same page with prescription requirements. Other than that, we have been happy with the progress-it's been slow, but it has improved. read more

Dr. Lines is great! I'd been dealing with some skin problems for a few years. I saw at least 5 doctors during that time with no improvement. Following Dr. Lines' advice and using the medication he prescribed I was symptom free in about 2 weeks. Wow! The staff were very pleasant too. I'm glad I found Dr. Lines. read more

If I had to travel to New York, I would travel there just to see him once a year for my check up. And his staff is both professional, kind and courteous; his whole practice is filled with a caring manner that is unusual for the medical field. Dr. Lines a.k.a. Captain Cutaneum is great. I appreciate his friendly, personable attitude. He is very thorough and took time to explain things to me. Most Dr's are cold and robotic but Dr Lines knows me by name and I can tell that he wants me to live a long and cancer free life. Very consultative, very thorough. I discovered a basil cell, Dr. Lines removed with precision and as much comfort as possible. I am a "Cash Pay" customer, and Dr Lines was Incredibly Fair & Reasonable. In the past, I visited Alta Dermatology on Power Rd/Southern. I regularly have a 6 month full-body scan of my skin because I am 'High Risk'. All too often, I was stuck in a crowded waiting room at Alta Dermatology for 45 minutes - 1 hour before I would be seen by my Doctor. Yes, I would arrive 10 minutes early as suggested, yet, I still wait, wait, wait. I was referred to Doctor Lines by a trusted friend 2 years ago. I have seen Dr. Lines 4 times now, each time, after checking in at front desk, I am asked back shortly afterwards. I appreciate that! I appreciate the fact that this office is thorough and conscientious of patients time & schedule and does not over-book the Doctor, or double stack Patients, creating long, unexpected, wait times, and frustration and irritation on my end!! Just be aware that Dr. Lines and his staff refuse to wear masks because "they've been vaccinated". This violates both the CDC guidelines and the Maricopa County mask mandate. It's also just bad medical practice to see patients, especially during a pandemic, without wearing a mask. If you care about your health, your family's health, and the health of your fellow humans that are not vaccinated, avoid this office. read more

Great front office staff but Dr. Lines himself was very condescending throughout my exam. I now understand why the first highly recommended dermatologist I called had a 1 month wait to be seen and I was able to get into him in 2 days. Next time I will wait the extra time be seen by a reputable dermatologist than be seen by such a rude man. read more

Wow! A sharp receptionist (Denise) and an appointment made quickly! Dr. Lines name was given to us by our primary physician. I am writing this because Denise was professional and kind: I not only received an appointment for within a week but she made sure I had the correct new business address.(The old one had been listed on Yelp and I submitted the new address to the editors at Yelp before I wrote this review.) Since I had just spent a very frustrating 15 minutes trying to get an appointment at the dermotologists' office which I have used for the past 7 YEARS, I am impressed so far. My go to dermatologist for a decade. Dr. Lines is warm and thorough in examination and explanation. The diagnoses are prompt and care immediate. Able to schedule an apt, pretty quickly--less than 3 days away to have some moles checked out. Will let you know, how the visit goes- demeanor, promptness, cleanliness, etc. But, so far so good. 9-22-09--went to the office, everything was spot on- demeanor, promptness, cleanliness, etc... He said that my moles were fine, but keep an eye for them; and that dermatologist are looking for the "level of sun exposure" that an individual can absorb (for example a fair blue eyed blonde cannot absorb as much as someone with my background- Filipino). Suggested, I use Blue Lizard sunscreen and creates his own comic books. Totally recommend him. Will use him again, no problem. read more

I went in to Dr Lines for a skin cancer screening on June 6th and he found two pre-cancer spots and froze them off, one on my arm and one under my left eye. The spot on my left eye cause swelling so I stayed home from work the following day. Because I drive a commercial truck, I needed a doctors note to return to work after the swelling went down. When I called Dr Lines on the phone afterwards for a return to work note, he stated that if he had to write doctor notes for all his patients that that's all he'd been doing. He was rude and uncooperative for a simple doctor note for my work. I'll be looking for a different dermatologist. read more

I will not be returning. I was trying to start a medication for my adult acne, but I first had to go have blood work done to be approved to start it. My blood work came back in a negitive state and I was unable to start the medication. The office staff could have easily call to inform me that the medication would not be prescribed due to my blood work. Instead they had me pay a ridiculous co-pay for this negitive answer. I also end up sitting in the waiting room 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I find Dr lines to be annoyingly repetitive as if he thinks I can't understand what he is trying to " discuss " with me. read more

It is obvious that Dr. Lines is there just to collect his paycheck. He doesn't refill your scripts unless you make another appointment to go in and see him. Also, the last time I was in I asked him if he could send the script he was providing me with to my pharmacy so that it could save me some time, he replied that it was an inconvenience to him and his office and said I'd have to walk it in myself. I've never experienced any Doctor's office where they were unwilling to send a script in for me out of inconvenience. If you want a genuine Dermatologist who cares what's going on with you, do not go here! read more

This doctor is a crook and a liar. I wouldn't see him again if he was the only Dr. left on earth that could treat me. I went in the office for a simple Doctor certified diagnosis on my psoriasis. Which he confirmed looked to be the case and they prescribed me medicine for it. Before I left the examination room, they asked each other if they should do a biopsy. To which they at first said No, then they both said, oh why not. Extra money for them, I mean why not right. I asked if this is going to be an extra charge and they said No, I also asked if they send to Third Party and they said No. So they took the biopsy two months ago, which I still have a dime sized scar from and I received two bills for the same amount from Dr. Lines office and Sonora Quest Labs in the amount of 180 at each. When I called the billing department they were very kind. However, when I called the office, they literally laughed at me when I told them my issue. Stay away from these people, they will figure out a way to take more money from your pocket. read more

We are winter visitors from Idaho and this Dr. Is the best !! My wife and I go to him every year. Even if he is a Mormon he is a good Dr.
