I have been a costumer for approx 8yrs & was charged a no-show fee of $150. I completely understand a no-show fee but $150 is outrageous. Came for a hydro facial, was told they required me to take photos, it was super weird felt like a mugshot, I just had a photo taken on the iPad up front, now another 3- with zero explanation as to why. Treatment room was super dull, there was some 90s bare naked lady ish radio playing - not what I think of when I think relaxing spa treatment. Additionally, I was quoted 199 for the hydro facial, the serum she used was an additional 50, which is part of the hydro facial itself - so I'm not sure why there was an up charge. I've gotten this same service before at several other spas and never received an up charge for the serum chosen. CAUTION!!! I was charged 150 today for a missed appointment. Now I understand that i signed paper work stating this could acure if I don't cancel within 24hrs. I am a on call crisis therapist and can have a client at any time so when I called to re-schedule my last appointment I requested a text or call reminder as my schedule can change at any moment mon-fri. not ideal I I know. I was assured i would get a text or reminder and received nothing this week. Karen the office manager while trying to teach me a lesson explains how I signed I knew, it's my responsibility all of which I agree with however when you have a one on one conversation with the coordinator and you explain your concerns and needs and they are willing to accommodate them you rely on that open communication to filter through. I would have had no issues paying the 150 had I received the agreed upon reminder and was reminded about the policy then however that did not happen thus my schedule getting filled. It's ok, keep the 150, for 150 you lost a long time customer and any more referrals! So be aware of what you sign and don't rely on conversations you have with them ahead of time because when it's convenient for them they will tell you that you signed! NOT OK. I will add that Karen threaten to come back if I posted a "bad review" my intention is not to bring harm to this location but to bring caution and awareness! Well...first things first, I liked this medical spa but they charged me $150.00 fir a missed appointment that is in dispute. Dr. I is wonderful and very real , She is to the point and does not sugar coat things or upsell you and really seems to care about women .Her office staff are very sweet but her nurse can be a little dry and straight forward but she is all business and does her job. I am 48 and have had two children, gained and lost 55 pounds along the way. After two C-sections my stomach skin was loose and I had a shelf above my scar that no matter how clean I ate or how much I exercised would not go away. I had a mini tummy tuck surgery booked whenI I found Dr. I online while researching Renuvion skin tightening and decided to have a consult. Dr. I then explained to me that she could give me the results I wanted without the scar and surgery so I canceled with my plastic surgeon and booked Lipo sculpture for my stomach and arms along with Reunvion on my stomach with Dr.I. I am still waiting for my final results and to heal completely ( it's a process and must be patient ). Overall my stomach looks like when I was 25 with no more mommy pouch and my arms look amazing as well so I'm very happy and plan to have more procedures with Dr. I in the near future. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for natural looking improvements with minimal downtime. I also started hormone therapy with Dr. I and I so far loving the benefits. I no longer wake up at night and lost a few pounds without even trying. I never had sexual issues but I notice a difference for sure. I would not recommend getting your lips done here unless you like multiple visits to fix lumps and making it even. I went back and forth so much I gave up. Between my wasted personal time gas and the pain being injected over and over and starting over with the healing process I have as done. This was my second time using this company for my lips and I only returned because my first visit was good. That was my first mistake. After having someone else finally fix my problem I learned a lot about the process and why I had a horrible experience. 1st off know about the filler options and what each one is good for because the one I got may have lasted the longest but wasn't what I needed for the volume I was looking for in my upper lip compared to other options which was never explained to me but was by another company. Also when you get lips filled they should be smoothing everything out and making sure you don't get sent home with a huge lump which doesn't happen here as that happened to me and it had to get dissolved it was so big and should have been noticed if they checked first cause I was numb. Basically I went in saying my lower was pretty good I needed my upper fuller and ended up with barely a difference in my upper lip and seemed like most went in the outline and lower with a full syringe. Went back not happy with my upper so I had to pay for another half to fix and that's where it all started with lumps not being noticed and my uneven lower which was so crooked everyone noticed. They kept trying to fix but I felt embarrassed every time I went back to fix something that wasn't my fault and I was tired of getting poked and it shouldn't be that hard to get it right. Went somewhere else she had to dissolve my entire lower it was bad and only used a half to fix lower and add volume to top so not sure why I spent $1000 on 1.5 syringes that wasn't needed to get what I wanted but again they used wrong filler type that wasn't meant for volume. Seriously don't go here!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!! Your tech should explain what will get your results and listen to what your saying and also massage your lips to make sure your bump free not make you feel rushed out of there. Below is one of the pics I took to see how it slants off and my upper looks horrible like an M shape not pouty and full like I wanted. They look awful for $1000!!!!!!! Even sent this to them and the lady said she didn't notice anything wrong are you f***ing kidding me????? Everyone told me they looked horrible. Prior to committing to having my first cosmetic upgrade done at Advanced Image Med Spa, I had checked out 2 other places for what I wanted. I decided against those places because they both had some snotty high school girl do my consultation. There are very few ways to offend me, but employing some 17 year old high school junior to talk down to me as she assesses my facial flaws and financial limitations in a tone of voice somewhere between bored and disgusted is one of them. If the doctor is too busy to do consultations herself, then she's too busy for my business. I saw Dr I on a news segment discussing a new technology and was impressed with her. So I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. I. herself greeted me and explained the procedure I wanted as well as others I asked about. When I returned for my appointment I was even more pleased with the way Dr. I. works. She is very personable, never condescending, never rushed. She seems genuinely sorry she's causing you pain. Despite her professionalism and skill, she doesn't project an attitude of superiority. Her friendliness helped me to relax and trust. The work she did far exceeded my expectations. Everyone noticed the improvement but no one guessed the reason. I was thrilled with the results of that first visit and each follow up has been just as satisfying. HOWEVER.....if you come here, be prepared to be constantly asked and pretty much pressured to buy more of their services and products. I get it - this is a business trying to make a profit. I'm aware they probably don't make too much off Groupons (how I got my LHR), but I began dreading my visits because saying "no thank you" to literally every service they pressed on me was exhausting. Due to numerous backhanded questions, I started leaving that place feeling less about myself than I did when I walked in. "We have a deal on liposuction this month - ever thought about doing that on your arms or legs?" Is she serious right now? "How old are you? Almost 30? Ever thought about Botox?" Woooooowwww. "Your skin isn't looking too healthy, what kind of exfoliant do you use? Why not try ours?" ....... That being said, other than their pestering need to milk you out of all your money, they do a decent job on their services. If you ONLY want laser hair removal services, I recommend looking elsewhere. Maybe I don't have thick skin, but I was incredibly turned off by these jabs at sales. We'll I learned my lesson fast and cheap isn't what you should do with plastic surgery. And that's what this company advertised. I wanted to get liposuction for along time. I went to talk to them it was very fast sign sign sign tons of papers but they don't take time to tell you what it says. I received lipo and it wasn't easy give you lots of pills at the end of service that cost a lot and you might not want to purchase. I wouldn't drain the build up blood I've got to scars from her cutting me to drain my stomach still didn't drain. Got a infection but told it came back as nothing huh? In a lot of pain that lasted months they wouldn't help after I kept calling they said keep pushing in your stomach to get the build up out. Wear you garments they give you. I also got a hernia and now my stomach looks deformed. I asked them about it of course I had it. And I was also told if I didn't drink so much my procedure would of worked I said what did you say I've got a drinking problem I don't even drink! Maybe one every six months. Her reply ohhh I thought you did. Said she did a lot for me. Yes you did gave me a infection a hernia accused me of being an alcoholic with a drinking problem, charged me for pills that I probably wouldn't of wanted and I only lost a few inches and 10 pounds and hurt for months. Yes you did a lot for me. I recommend going somewhere else. Also told me if I do this statement she would sue me for saying things she felt were not true. I am very dissatisfied with Advanced Image Med Spa. I paid $800 to have my eyebrows and eyeliner done (top & bottom) back in October, 2019. After my two applications I still don't have enough eyeliner on the bottom lids to go without putting on eyeliner myself. When I called them they refuse to do another application for my $800 purchase. They want me to pay another $250. I feel I paid for a product and did not receive the entire product and they refuse to make it right. I would be very hesitant in going to Advanced Image Med Spa for any services. read more
