I felt much better and more at peace with the experience and I have paid the appropriate amount and if you check in here - you do get a free gift so that was very fun! I love when that happens - always a nice little surprise. Here is why 2 stars! An employee walked in - girl at front desk "I'm here aren't I" My husband and I looked at each other - like what kind of place is this that the employee would be so openly miserable. Then people were walking in and out saying how they didn't want to open his car door because he was asleep. Come to find out, that's the pathologist who would be looking at sample. Regardless of why he was asleep in his car at 7am is none of my business and honestly, I don't want to hear that an employee came from LA and he is sleeping in his car. They have a new policy that you must have a card on file and you must pay your deductible at time of service. No one mentioned that to me - glad I had my credit card on me. I mentioned to the front desk that I believe my insurance prefix will change as we picked a new plan during open enrollment. She said, I will speak to my manger and call you once we know what to do. Okay fine. I call my insurance for something completely unrelated and mention todays visit. BCBS rep said "just have them call us and we will tell them what you are covered for on the new plan" Okay sounds simple enough Well, I call thinking I'm helping out and the business manager, Dahlia, huffs and puffs and tells me this is a HUGE issue and that I should have told them before I came in. I said "they said all you have to do is call them and they will give you the info" She said rudely "you just had very big surgery ( I was there 20 minutes as they scraped a needle head worth of what looked like a freckle on my face) and this will mess up billing". I said "okay, if you guys don't want to call, I guess we will deal with the mess when you want to get paid" she said "yep, guess so" JUST RUDE. I called back to get her name and told her I thought she was a bit rough - her response "I'm the office manager" I said "okay just needed your name for my message to the business. She replies "okay sounds good" Not a care in the world. Now I know why the guy came in all grumpy / if that's the culture and temperature in that office Again, surgeon, nurse and gal who helped me on the way out were great.

I absolutely love having a female plastic surgeon who not only has an eye for what women want, but has the steadiest hands and skills to match. The nurses and staff in her office are second-to-none and the facilities are beautiful! It makes going to surgery consults and follow up appointments a breeze. The surgical center is also on-site so it's a one-stop shop that is personal and private. I've had procedures done same-day and also stayed overnight. The night staff are as incredible as the day staff. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Dr. Michelle.

A month after surgery (chin lipo and submentoplasty) with Michelle, I began developing large,…read morepainful nodules under my chin and neck that persistently got worse for over a year. I was initially told by her that it must be my allergies and then that it was thyroid-related causes. After seeking care from a more experienced double board-certified plastic surgeon & ENT, I was informed that the nodules were FULL of pus and bacteria, located on/around the permanent sutures. I was also made aware that the nodule that was distanced lower than the rest, had a free-hanging suture that was attached to nothing. I was advised that what he found was consistent with infection related to the permanent internal sutures Michelle placed in me and was likely due to the sutures being unsterile/compromised during surgery. This was an extremely painful and distressing experience that significantly impacted my quality of life for OVER a year. When I reached out to her office regarding this, I was met with denial, zero accountability and was threatened multiple times if I ever post about this online. I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to thoroughly research their provider and ensure they are board-certified in PLASTIC surgery. Unfortunately, a cosmetic surgeon who is a "Doctor of Dental Surgery" is a very considerable, and concerning difference.
