I have since had a double mastectomy with removal of surrounding lymph nodes and am on the road to recovery and reconstruction mid Feb 2023. Dr Tarabi is compassionate and is calming - always paying attention to questions and wearing a smile. He has options and theres no doubt he is an expert in his field! His entire staff is just as gracious and compassionate as he is. Every interaction whether with Him, the medical assistants, PA, nurses, front desk staff has alway been above and beyond. In person they run a tight ship. I have never waited long. I was late once, and they still were super accommodating to me. If you call the medical assistants and leave a message they'll call you back in little time at all - you will probably never have to follow up with another phone call. My mom, being my caretaker during my downtime- assisting me with breast cancer my diagnosis /surgery / aftercare feels the same way. She's had to call for me too while I was recovering, and they treat her with the utmost importance, compassion and care. We're both super impressed. Noteworthy- I didn't think I would see him on the day of my surgery because he was the second half of the surgery, But he walked in, greeted me before surgery and prepped me and my mom Which just helped with peace of mind. Also his office eliminated the stress of my fmla ppwk and interactions with the company my employer uses to handle that. Also the way they handle prescriptions is super easy and convenient. You won't be left feeling like the middleman constantly working on unfinished business - that was the last thing I needed. Beware of "Bait and Switch" tactics **RUN RUN RUN** Elite is ripping people off with the Semi-glutide weight loss drug. They have you get started on the drug amd immediately after your first shot that you take in the office, they double the price. HIGHLY unethical. They lowered the 2nd dose for me, but not for my friend. In fact they gave her entirely different pricing. They didn't even track progress. Brought up my concerns, they agreed to have messed things up. I have it in writing. The next email, they say "we did everything right". So which is it? BS!!!!! Also, Dr Tobari botched my Lipoma removal. I now have painful nerve damage. And it was when he was operating on me that he sold me on the semi glutide. I was referred to this practice by my insurance & just as I suspected, they were unable to do the NECESSARY PROCEDURES, even though I called ahead to Verify & was NOT Given a Single Correct Answer, with Insurance Co on a 3 way, they still required I go!! Front Desk , yelled @ by another patient for insulting his intelligence, but , that's how she treated EVERYONE, she "TRIED" the same nonsense with Me, I Shut her down so quick she couldn't even bat her eyes!! I was hesitated to write a review about Elite Plastic Surgery and Dr. Rozbeh Torabi and Dr. Kiup Alexander. Kim, M.D. Aka Dr. Alex Kim. On May 10, 2021. I had a Vaser Liposuction with Renuvion by Dr. Rozbeh Torabi. He arrived to the surgery center close to 4:00 pm (outpatient surgery center closes at 6:00 pm) I been waiting for him since 12:00 pm ( I was already put on sedation ) Despite Dr. Kiup Kim's concern telling him not to go through with a surgery. He did anyway. Then he just left me with Dr. Kiup Kim. Who just got put on probation on April 7, 2021 for the 3rd time, who introduced himself as certified Anesthesiologist. when He's a Vascular Surgeon, and already had 2 patients died under his care. I guess my life meant nothing to Dr. Torabi. I had a major complication. I got to the surgery center at 12 pm and left there at 11 pm. I was there for 12 hours. I regret that I got a surgery from Dr. Torabi. Every waking moment for over a year, and I don't know how much longer I have to suffer from the pain?. Now I'm seeing neurologist, psychiatrist, and have an appointment to get MRI. A year after I am still suffering, and It's not over by far. I still can't believe this is happening to me?. When meeting a new Doctor make sure that he, or she has empathy, and respectful, dignity for human life. I'm overall happy with my results but there was a lot of admin and clerical issues that made my ordeal with them stressful and confusing. The aftercare instructions I got were for a breast augmentation when I didn't have one. I was covered and caked in blood when I left. On my compression garment I was supposed to wear for weeks and all through my hair. I wasn't supposed to wash for a bit too so I felt really gross. When I tried to call and ask if it was ok to change the bandage I couldn't get a response during after hours. I originally had an appointment with one doctor but then was switched because I contacted through realself. Which is just kinda weird to me. I didn't see the doctor much after my procedure for follow ups. If I did it was for a very short time. But when there was a small issue it was corrected so I do appreciate that. Basically the doctor was nice and did good work but it seems they're overbook or just very busy so some info gets lost in the shuffle. read more

I researched a plastic surgeon for my cosmetic needs and found a group of three brothers specialized in many cosmetic surgeries. I had an office consultation, labs, certain tests were ordered and obtained. From beginning to end the service, quality, friendliness and professionalism was nothing short of amazing. I saw Dr Rozbeh Torabi here at Elite. I was walked through the process with Mariel who is very lovely and sweet. My procedure was on 11/9 and my fiancé pointed out that my nostrils actually look very lopsided and I'm praying this is fixed over time as my nose comes to a complete heal. I love my profile view as my hump was removed now I hope my nostrils don't stay crooked like in the picture listed. My nostril picture was taken tonight 12/1 I have no complaints as to the medical procedure. Although I do feel an absence from the surgeon in the sense of him really walking me through my surgery and procedure. I saw him twice once for about 5-10 minutes to tell him why I was there and what I wanted and 5 minutes before being taken into the OR. After my surgery I only saw him to remove my splints and after that i had a follow up appointment but I only saw his nurse who is also very lovely but I was only there for 5 minutes or less to tell them my nose was healing ok. I will update and edit my review if my nostrils come to a complete heal and don't look so different from one another because I was supposed to have both a septoplasty and rhinoplasty done. read more

I was referred to Elite by a friend, otherwise I probably would have kept looking. I was not impressed by my initial appointment, but didn't have any other referral names, so I stuck it out. I wish I had listened to my gut. Elite's receptionists, assistants, and even the surgeon tried to discourage me from contacting my insurance, saying repeatedly that breast reductions are rarely covered. I decided I still wanted to send in a request for pre-approval. I received approval within a week. After receiving the pre-approval from my insurance, the doctor still tried to talk me out of using my insurance, saying that my insurance wouldn't cover the surgery unless he took out a certain amount of tissue (370g) and that their request was unreasonable and might make me smaller than a C cup or ruin my nipples. I wanted a 4-cup size reduction and wasn't worried about being too small. I told him I still wanted insurance involved, but of course did not want my breasts damaged. I assumed he would be able to remove the minimum he claimed. I had the surgery. I heard nothing for a week. A week later, when I was still in pain and my right breast was swelling from two yet-to-be-diagnosed hematomas, I received a phone call. The surgeon's assistant called me and told me the surgeon only took out 222g and that it wasn't enough to be covered by insurance . She said I now needed to pay $9000. This was Incredibly distressing. I desperately wanted a significant reduction, my insurance was willing to pay for a significant reduction, and now my doctor had left me a DD cup and was demanding $9000. What????? There was no bill sent to my house or my insurance. Nothing in writing. Just a phone call. I called my insurance company and they told me I was covered regardless of the amount of tissue removed and not to pay anything until I received a bill. Later, the surgeon called me. His demeanor was snarky and demeaning. He threatened me and told me if I didn't pay the $9000 for his surgeon fees he could charge me $40,000. When I told him that my insurance had agreed to pay regardless of amount of tissue removed, he accused me of playing games. Two days later I was in the ER with two hematomas, a complication from my surgery. A few weeks later I was back in his office (which had moved) because he had to restitch my breast because it was healing with a deep indention down the middle (it is still not fully resolved and looks wonky). This has been the most shocking and awful medical experience of my life. What kind of racket is Elite running?? Stay away. read more

I'm not sure where to begin. I had scheduled an appointment for a scar revision. Paid $100 dollars for the doctor Rozbeh Torabi's 40 seconds of his time. Waited for about 45 min for him to actually walk into my room. Not only did he make me feel like I was wasting his time he was quick to suggest a tattoo cover up after seeing how thin and painful my skin around my scar were, I thought to myself, don't you think I would of done that by now if I could have?!.. I felt it was a waste of my money and time to even come here. Im speaking from my own experience, a scar revision is not only something that has been bothering me for many months but when he suggested the tattoo cover up I just wanted to walk out. There really are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Radbeh Torabi. In 2010, I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer and was given 6 months to live. I decided to go through a treatment that I was told I might not survive which caused a lot of internal damage but saved my life. Since no one expected me to survive, my mastectomy and reconstruction were horrible and I was told to just be glad I was alive. During the following years I was horribly insecure and had excruciating, stabbing pains. When the pain became absolutely unbearable, I consulted with another doctor who operated and told me he inspected the painful area and everything was fine, however, it was not. I lost the entire reconstruction and then he unnecessarily removed all the skin, so now implant reconstruction was impossible. About a 3-4 inch hole developed on my chest and you could actually see my ribs through it. Without going into all the details, I was referred to Dr. Radbeh Torabi who is AMAZING! He is not only an amazing doctor - he is also a magician! At first he was concerned that the cancer had returned, so he performed surgery to take a rib sample to test for cancer. Thank God, that test came back negative, but he informed me that I had necrotic ribs from the radiation and that he would have to remove portions of four of them. Since the previous surgeon had removed all my breast skin, my only alternative now was a flap procedure. I am a thin person with almost no fat so he felt the only procedure that would work for me would be transferring flaps from my inner thighs and moving them to my chest. He performed micro-vascular surgery by actually removing flaps with the blood vessels from both inner thighs. He stitched those tiny veins together and created the most beautifully shaped breast - like I said - a magician! He is an incredibly detailed, talented and caring doctor with a wonderful staff that is always available to help - notably Erin (when I first started with the office), Steve and Julie. I have my final surgery in a few days for nipple reconstruction and after a long 12-year, very difficult journey, I will feel whole again and like I can finally live my life fully. How can you find words of gratitude for that? I don't know..but I'm eternally grateful and I hope he knows that. read more

Listen up people. This is meatball surgery at it's core. I have waited a year before posting this to see if things would get better. I'm devastated over what this surgeon,Dr Torabi, has done to me. I went in for a simple eyelid surgery. Was told I could be back to work in 2 weeks and writhing a month I would hardly see any scares. When I came out of there it looked like I had been hit by a Mac truck. The stitches were large and tied very tight at each end of my eyes. Several friends who are familiar with this surgery said OMG! You need to go back in there and tell him this is too tight. I called the next morning after the surgery and sent them pic of how horrific I looked. The Surgeon was sweating profanity when he picked up the phone. He did not know I was able to hear him. He was nonchalant about it all and said it looked normal and I just had to be patient. Throughout my healing I kept reaching out to him voicing my concerns and he would brush it off and said to be patient it takes time. 3 months and my scars healed to what I would call a pull or stretched section where the stitches were tied. I looked like an alien. It's been a year and I had to finally seek out another plastic surgeon to try to remedy what this man had done. I can tell you it was like night and day regarding how the procedures were done. My new surgeon is a true professional. I feel like I went to a back alley hacker now that I know what real professional plastic surgeons are like. I could go on and on about my entire nightmare with Dr Torabi. I had a consultation on 7/6/21 (Tuesday) at 12:30. I arrived on time drove our from chandler but I made it on time. I was put in the room and this is when the waiting began. The surgeon was over and hour late and to make matters worse they just left me in the room waiting. I kept telling the nurse I really have to get back to work I took and already extended lunch and at this point it was about 1:30. He showed up eventually but it was so rushed. That was a red flag for me and my main reason for not decided on this practice for my rhinoplasty. I did not feel like he took the time to explain because he was already running late and was probably with me for 10 minutes. I received a bill today and it appears My Insurance was billed for 326.18 for the 10 minutes he took to see me. Dr. Rozben Torabi performed mesh removal surgery for me in 2017. Before the surgery I thought I was dying and I couldn't find a surgeon to take it out. I was a huge liability and a riskful surgery. Due to other medical conditions. I decided to remain flat with my breast cancer. It is a choice, and the safest one for me. My surgeon insisted I come to Elite plastic surgery and have the surgeon show me a procedure where they use belly fat to form fat clumps as breasts. So, I sat there with my daughter, who had to come with me, because of having class and rehearsals after my appointment, and it was a far distance to get to this medical facility. We sat there for around an hour and 45 min. Brought into a room. He didnt have any pictures of what this fat grafting looked like. Which would have been even more invasive with my other medical issues. When the plastic surgeon heard I wanted to remain flat, he was in and out within 2 minutes. Brushed me off. Even my teen said it was an F rated facility after that experience. So now the cancer surgeon is trying to send me here again, after my closure was made too tight, scar tissue and dog ears are ugly and painful. To the facility that brushed me off in the first place after wasting an hour and 45 min in the waiting room in the first place. And I told the cancer surgeon do not refer me to this facility again. Apparently, the surgeon who did the double mastectomy doesn't have good listening skills. And Elite plastic surgery doesn't want to do surgery on you, if you want to remain flat. But the oncology center and plastic surgeon are obviously networked together, despite hearing about awful experiences. read more

Recently I had surgery from dr. Torabi at Elite plastic surgery. Before the surgery I specifically told them and medicine that I could not take because I was allergic to it. After my surgery the prescription that was given to me was for that medicine which was incorrect and we had to drive fresh out of the hospital and surgery to his office and pick up a corrected script. I had my 1 week follow up appointment yesterday and I waited to be seen by a doctor for two and a half hours along with the rest of the 15 people that waited. Everyone in the lobby was angry. I finally got put into a room and the doctor came in and just looked at me and looked at my arm and hand and in two minutes and there was no apology from the doctor that there was such a delay and I was out of there was no stitch removal no nothing. I'm not even sure why there was an appointment. Now I have to go back again in a week and they will remove the stitches from two areas and God help us if I have to wait another two and a half hours. Just a heads up if you decide to go with them be ready to wait a long time in the lobby. On a positive note Julie and the ladies up front were very friendly and accommodating. read more

Referred here by the hospital. What a joke! Let's start off with the receptionist- RUDE, arrogant, snobby, and judgmental. The dr "assistant" is untrained, no bedside manner, and of course rude. The one and only decent person there- Heather- very polite and caring. The doctors possibly believe that they are in Beverly Hills and just too good to deal with anyone that doesn't want bigger boobs, a face lift, or nose job. But I paid my $100 just like the rest of them- I should get the same service. The two doctors I saw at this office, should remember the oath they took! The first doctor was too busy replying to text messages, and gripping my injured hand- like I was reaching down to save him from falling. The second Doctor walked in and started searching through cabinets and didn't know where anything was. He started to work on my injury, then stopped and told me I was free to go- and then started text messaging. Excuse me? My hand is swollen, fingers are numb, and I have horrible pain in it- and I am free to go? The oh so friendly receptionist- offered to schedule my follow up appt in 4 weeks though! Well if I am free to go with half ass medical advise- why would I come back? read more
