First, Dr. Price is amazing and we will continue with her. The desk staff needs additional training. They are pleasant and WHEN you can actually speak to someone, they do try to be helpful. They do not seem to be knowledgeable in how insurance works and how medications get covered. You can tell that by reading some of the comments here that this has gone on for some time. I have had 2-3 instances now in which I leave a voicemail, no return call, and the office claims they were never received. That cannot and should not happen over and over. It is difficult to actually speak to someone at the office and patients are left no choice but to leave a voicemail. It is frustrating and time consuming to for the patient to constantly leave messages without any follow up from the office. The response is typically "our office is really busy." Not the patients problem and our lives are busy too. Most of us don't just sit around waiting to call the dermatologist. We have jobs and lives too, I personally find that to be a poor response to a problem. If the office is "too busy" to respond then either more staff is needed or a different system to address that part of your practice. read more

After feeling completely deflated, with doctors telling me my hair loss was not associated with my meds- i looked to the internet and saw great reviews about what a great provider she was. So I took a chance, made an appt a few months in advance- AND LET ME TELL YOU... she was worth the wait. Instead of feeling deflated, Dr Price made me feel like I had options. I even asked about my Melasma, which another doctor told me there was "nothing I can do" because I enjoyed being outside, Dr Price again gave me hope and options that didn't feel like I would have. My son has atopic dermatitis and we have been dealing with it for his entire life (5yrs old). He had a extremely bad flare up and I called and was scheduled with the next few days! (other offices were a few weeks wait!) My son was a bit nervous and was really uncomfortable with all his eczema hurting. As soon as we walked in, the receptionist greeted us immediately and got us checked in. She even helped my kids get settled with a show on their waiting room TV while I filled out all the paperwork. We didn't have to wait long and was seen within minutes. The nurse made my son feel comfortable and she treated him with such care and love. The entire appointment took less than a half hour. They got us seen and prescriptions ordered within that time; which is a huge plus because I am a mom of two young children and my 2-yr old is VERY active and doesn't like to be cooped up for long. I was referred by a friend to Dr. Price. Called the office only to have a recorded message giving office hours, address, and to leave a message and they would get back....so I left the necessary info/ phone #, etc. No response. Called 5 more times over the course of a week, always getting the message machine. So I E mailed via her web page. Still no response. She has glowing reviews BUT...that front office just can't seem to pick up or return a phone call to a potential client. Hence the one star. read more

I LOVE Dr. Price. She's absolutely fabulous. And she takes my awful insurance (Healthnet - worse insurance ever). She takes her time with you; very knowledgeable; a total sweetheart and doesn't over prescribe. Often Dermatologists will rush, trying to fit in as many patients as possible. I found Dr. Price on Yelp and thought I would try her. The first time I went to her she was great (the only reason this has two stars). She answered all of my questions, took the time to talk to me about my skin concerns, and then did a biopsy. I went back two months later for another biopsy and I waited an hour after my appointment time (not that big of a deal, I understand doctors get behind), got the biopsy, and then rushed me out of there when I had more questions. I understood and just thought "ok I'll ask next time." They called me with my results but I didn't answer so she left a voicemail. I have now been calling back for a month leaving message after message and no one at the office will pick up the phone or call me back. So I finally left a voicemail for them to just call me and leave my results on the voicemail since I have a newborn at home and things are crazy. I haven't received a call from them (it's been two weeks) and they won't call me back. Amazing first experience, terrible second experience. Will be finding another dermatologist. read more

This was the best experience I have had by far. To start, Cashmere answered the phone and was extremely professional and did a great job speaking to the dr's and level of service offered. She was kind enough to get me in the same day after listening to my concerns. When I arrived I was greeted by Cashmere after a short wait I was taken back to the patient room with Summer. Summer listened to all of my concerns and was wonderful. I did not feel rushed and felt as though she was listening to my every word. Summer was typing all of my concerns into the system but continued to make eye contact the entire time. I really appreciated this. Shortly there after I met Dr. Price and Shiela. Dr. Price was fantastic. She is a very kind, knowledgable and lovely person and Dr. I am so thrilled to have found her. In the end Shiela was thorough in ensuring that she covered all that Dr. Price wanted to discuss as well treatments for all areas. I had my prescriptions called in before I walked out the door with a lovely lady in the front. The overall experience was wonderful. I recently made an appointment with Dr. Price, based on a recommendation of a friend, whose skin I have always admired. I was having break-outs due to holiday stress, and being in my mid-thirties, started to see a few wrinkles creeping up as well. Acne combined with wrinkles was making me feel awful. I have been a patient of Dr. Price's for the past year. Being in my 40's, my face has gotten thinner, from my cheekbones, even to my nose. A coworker had told me of something called the "liquid nose job." So at my last appointment, I asked Dr Price about it. I had developed a divot on the upper bridge of my nose, where it had thinned out. Dr Price was able to expertly apply a small amount of filler to that area, to give me a sleeker, smoother profile.
