Well they were able to help me out with my problem they did what had to be done. Not like Estrella Banner went there and didn't even bother to see my hand they just gave me a narcotic pill which I never asked for and just took my blood pressure and that was it. But they sure bill me which I thought that was not right! I will never again go to this Hospital at all bad service! I do recommend this Dermatologist for sure!!! I have been going to this practice since there were two MD providers & one PA....1990's. It seems like the providers today, specifically the PA's, are nonchalant in their assessment skills. They do not or cannot come to a diagnosis from their assessment of the patient; but rather deviate from the focus instead of listening to the patient's presenting symptoms. It seems like they come up with a "catch all term" to make a diagnosis instead of searching for a trigger or reason why the patient came into the office in the first place. There are many options for dermatology in the west valley today & it's time to start reaching out to those other provider options. read more

Madison was wonderful. I`m old, she is a very young and beautiful practitioner, and completely knowledgeable about dermatology. She was very concerned with finding out my issue/s, and concentrated on me as the patient. She was so patient with my ramblings lol. But she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable during my visit. She did a thorough exam and follow up on my prior visit/s. Clinicians never tell a patient what their problem or issue is, but a good clinician makes the patient feel at ease and will relate to them more easily, revealing all the information needed, for they came to discuss and/or treat. I left with a feeling of having had a great outcome for this visit, though much of my condition has subsided due to prior medicines and treatments. She is a rock star. Thanks Madison read more

Why do I have to wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting area for each appointment? Double booking? Triple booking? I have a life too. My time is valuable. Epiphany Dermatology has little emphasis on quality customer service. Also, the billing people need to understand the difference between primary and secondary insurances. I signed up for an appointment online weeks ago, and when I showed up, it was only then that I was told my insurance doesn't allow me to book directly, it required a referral. There was no one who contacted me ahead of time to confirm how I would be paying for my visit, whether insurance or cash, and for my insurance to be ran at that time and be advised I can't attend without a referral or I could pay $200 cash for the visit. This lack of payment confirmation before the appointment wasted my time and the lady at the front desk's time. My feedback would be to either set up the online appointment option to submit a radio button option to provide insurance information at that time or to verify that it was a non-insurance/cash visit. Or call people ahead of time and confirm method of payment. read more

I love Epiphany, they are all so kind and patient listening to all my whines. My first visit with Dr Hines was incredible, she biopsied a couple of things on my nose and was so right, I had 2 basil cell carcinomas. I had an appointment about a week later. Dr Hill preformed the surgery and got the first one on the first try, did such a phenominal job, you can't even tell. I had the second surgery on my nose yesterday and once again I am a happy camper. I have never left review for a doctor, but felt I had too with Dr. Hynes. I took my 15 year old daughter to see her twice and both times she was incredibly rude. I tried to extend grace the first time, because we all have bad days. However, the second visit was even worse and it only lasted ten minutes. Her lack of compassion makes me question how she has any patients at all. I wish that I would have read her reviews before taking my daughter to see her and hope this helps others looking for a dermatologist. read more

I really like my provider. The office staff here is very polite, helpful and professional. My one drawback is that I have to wait anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. We all know that as a patient, if we were more than 15 minutes late for our scheduled appointment time, we would be forced to reschedule or our appointment would be cancelled. It would be nice if medical offices were as respectful of the patient's time as they want the patient to be respectful of theirs. Again, I really like this office, my provider and the staff, but I don't like my time being wasted. read more

I have been going here for months to discuss hyperpigmentation and Hyperhidrosis and everything was good until it wasn't. I had an appointment today with Dr. Seiter David to discuss getting Botox. I have been going here for months and my insurance covers most of the visits and i have a co pay. These visits are $383.00 every time I go and I pay a $35.00 co payment. This doctor made me feel very uncomfortable and less than.. I wanted to know how much the Botox procedure would cost and is there a way I can get a quote. Mr. Seiter David expressed that Botox was a very expensive procedure and how could I afford something like this. He then said that he wished he worked where I worked at... I'm assuming to pay for the services. I work for a very good company and make enough money to pay for my own health insurance so that i am able to take advantage of what my health benefits provide During this ten minute appointment this doctor questioned how I was going to pay for my procedures (I didn't know he was apart of the billing services) he told me that my insurance probably wouldn't cover it and if they did it would be hard (which is weird because my insurance has have been covering services and medicine thus far) He made me feel like I couldnt afford his services He made me feel like I was making a bad choice in what I wanted He made me feel very uncomfortable that I had to discuss my financial situation with him (which i did not) If i customer is coming to you and has been coming to you for months why now are you questioning how I am paying for my services. In a world where everyone and everything is a sensitive topic I felt like this doctor put his foot in his mouth this visit It is his job to make his patients feel comfortable It is his job to "fix" whatever it is that his patients have an issue with and if he cannot give his professional and medical advice then he should be able to communicate that Not belittle someone Not make someone feel like they cannot afford a service My insurance and myself have been paying for these appointments and different kind of medicine so far I'm not sure what the issue was today! Being a woman of color you have to think "if i wasn't a person of color would he have questioned me like he did today" Do you question ALL your patients who come in for Botox about their finances and tell them that it is just way to expensive I'm not really sure you can afford it In so many words that is exactly what this doctor did today. Today Visit was definitely my last visit with this doctor and would not be a returning customer. I did file a complaint with the company I write this review to express my concern with this doctor. I went to see my dermotologist Dr Hines today. She removed a cist on my leg. I just can't tell you enough what a great Doctor she is. Very compassionate and old school bedside manner. I would like to name all her staff as they likewise are the best group of staffers that any company would want. Kudos to Sara pa,David np, Angel ma,Baudinett front office,Angelika front office, Maria q, Ashley ma,Lupe ma,Danielle ma,and Desire ma. I have been going to this office for several years back when it was Arrowhead Dermatology. Now that it is under new ownership I continue to have a bad experience yet I keep going mostly because I don't like starting over with a new dr. However this was my last straw I scheduled an appointment showed up to be told by the front desk (who has a high turn over rate always someone new) that although my appointment day and time was correct that dr didn't work at that office on that day the front lady made me feel like I was to blame. So I went there and couldn't be seen by anyone. That was my last and final visit. read more

Unprofessional desk staff. Scheduled an appointment two weeks ago and was told there was an 11am appointment available today. I told them I would take that appointment and wrote it down on my calendar. When I got in they told me I was supposed to come in at 10 and then I wouldn't be seen. I asked if they could Atleast refill my prescription since my eczema is terrible, the large woman behind the desk laughed and told me to come back when they have more appointments. Her attitude was the most unprofessional I have seen at a "professional" office. Maybe they can give her a job in the back cleaning or something, because she doesn't know how to act professional. Now I have to schedule with another office while my eczema continues to bleed. read more

Going on 3 weeks and still no prescribed medications for my face. Pharmacy they recommended me to in Texas discontinued that type of medication. I've called multiple times and no one seems to help or get anything done with an alternative solution. read more

Epiphany used to be Arrowhead Dermatology. I had no issues with the services I received. I prepaid for a package of 3 facial peels while still Arrowhead. I've had 2 but continue to receive invoices - now $188. I've called, left messages ( no call back) and sent 2 written responses. There customer service, at least in billing is terrible. I just received my 3rd invoice today so I'll try again. read more

I'll start off this review by saying the front office staff seemed nice enough. I even had a good experience with the P.A. and nurse. However, the bad review stems from their horrible billing practices. This is coming from someone who worked in medical billing for nearly a decade. I could never get anyone to call me back after leaving several voicemails because I knew I had a balance with the office and wanted to take care of it (I have a high deductible). I never did receive any statements, but attempted to pay my balance anyway. When I finally reached someone, they told me I owed a smaller amount than what my insurance company said was my responsibility. When I brought this up, I was assured I only owed the smaller amount, so I paid it over the phone. Fast forward to nearly a year later and I received collection notices for the amounts I tried to pay months prior in a timely fashion. So not only did the office not get their money on time because they wouldn't let me pay the balance, but they now have to pay a fee to the collection company for collecting a balance on their behalf that I tried to pay directly to their office. It's a horrible way to run a business. That being said, I will not be returning to this office. read more

I have been going to this office for years. I recently had an appointment at the Avondale location. I am truly disappointed in how unprofessional the medical assistant was when she called me back as well and the way she was asking the intake questions was extremely rude. The rudeness she displayed along with her body language was appalling. She hardly made any eye contact and acted like she didn't like or wanted to do her job. The physician assistant came in and she was abrupt with her recommendations and became agitated when I asked her a question. I am truly disappointed in how this office treats their patients. I can honestly say that when I first started going to this office., the staff and providers were friendly and professional throughout the whole visit from start to end. I will be in search of a new dermatology office even if it means I will have to travel far to receive professional and friendly service. My question is why would you want to make your patients feel like that? read more
