He also inquired about and wanted to exam my previous MOHS surgery area, that had been discovered with his biopsy. Victoria assisting medical staff was easy to talk & friendly. I told them that I was not informed of this when I made the appointment. They told me that if I didn't pay it I wouldn't be seen by the doctor. They told me that if I didn't end up getting the cosmetic procedure I would be able to use the $100 towards future copays (and that even my husband could use it towards his copay). This was not true. My husband went in for a visit and was unable to use the deposit. I went into the office twice trying to sort out the mess with the person at the front desk. She wouldn't provide me with a number to the billing department. It wasn't until I received a bill that I was able to speak to someone in billing who informed me that what I was told (about being able to use that deposit for copays) was untrue. She told me that the deposit could only be used for the cosmetic procedure, which I have opted not to do. Needless to say my husband and I will not be returning to Epiphany Dermatology!

That's offensive. She had entered the year she was born and made a comment about how it wasn't much older. Oh it most definitely is. I obviously don't look like I'm near my 60s. She was offended when I told her that adding 20 years to me was a huge mistake. She must not be using her glasses while looking in the mirror to actually think she could be confused with someone born in '89. Had my first ever full body scan done here that day and the dr did one biopsy. Told me to expect results in 2 weeks. When I got the email saying my results were uploaded I saw 2/3 said positive. I had to google what they were. Both say melanoma. I never got a call about needing to come back and follow up. All doctor's offices call patients when they get a positive cancer diagnosis. This staff needs to get their shit together. I'll never step foot in this office again. Don't go here if you care about your health.

After two years I've never laid eyes on the doctors whose names appear on the door. I had been going here for yearly check-ups and chemical peels (which have been administered differently almost every time....a bad sign). One day I discovered inflamed hair follicles that were itchy. I showed these spots to the PA who told me, "...you should try changing shampoo and conditioner". A few months later my hair started to fall out so I did some of my own research on line (Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic). I went back and told the PA that I might have folliculitis. He said, "probably not, but we'll take a biopsy and have the lab look at it." Guess what? I have bacterial folliculitis! He told me to use a specific shampoo and Mupirocin ointment. Four weeks after starting treatment, it's no better. During this time I had asked him to look at a raised spot on my nose, and he had told me it was nothing; maybe a keratosis. He never asked how the folliculitis treatment was going. The spot was really bothering me, so I went back a couple of weeks later. This time he took a biopsy and, lo and behold, I have basal cell carcinoma, a common skin cancer. I'm through with this place. In the past, I've always seen a Dermatologist. I'll look for a similar type of office.
