My TCL TV's screen just went dark one day and I'm glad I found this local repair shop to take the TV to. I initially called in and described the issue and the owner knew exactly what was going on. Found this place on google reviews . The actual place is intimidating because it's small And crowded with tv's don't let that stop you . I took in my 55 inch Roku it had no picture just stopped working one day black screen so I left it over night and next day received text to call him on details of my repair. It was something he could fix and he got it done same day for $80 and helped me load the tv ! Nice guy ! Really reasonably priced ! Recommend this place read more

I would give a higher rating but 5 is all Yelp has. We took our unit to Phil and he fixed it for a reasonable fee BUT after a short while, it stopped functioning properly. Called him & he said to bring it back. He fixed it promptly AND charged us $0 despite the fact that it was a slightly different problem from the 1st incident. ALSO had an issue with our TV that I asked him about. It was something another less honest individual would've milked significant fees from. Phil told me to save the $ it would cost him to fix it & buy a newer tv. I only wish there more people who operated with the integrity Phil has consistently exhibited. read more

They did above and beyond for my 1981 Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine. I had broken the CRT neck board and he was able to get me in ASAP and actually had it repaired a few hours for a very affordable price. Very honest, knowledgeable and very skilled. Saved my project. This is my first review Ive ever written but felt it necessary. My television was a disaster. Phil quoted me the price of what it would take to fix it. When one issue was fixed, another one would come up. Then another one, and another one. Phil would have to end up getting more parts and spending more. This took weeks. Finally I picked up the TV. Within hours of bringing it home, it went out again. This time I called Samsung. They told me it sounded like I had a defective television and gave me a great price on a new one. They told me I continue to try to fix it but the costs higher than a new one and way higher than what Phil charged me. I went with the new Tv. I called Phil and asked if he would take the tv to be recycled. (Since Best Buy where I bought it would charge me for recycling). He said yeah. Upon my bringing my tv back, Phil handed me a full refund on what I paid for repair. I tried to refuse because of the time and effort that Phil spent but he insisted. I can't imagine getting this kind of service from a Best Buy or other large companies. I had to replace a Panasonic VCR/DVD recorder at the cost of $400 on Ebay. After replacing the Recorder I thought maybe i could repair this one at maybe less cost. I looked up repair business' and found Omega repair. I read the great reviews and took it in about Feb 2021. The business was close to where I play golf so that worked out well. The initial thought was it was only the heads (that I attempted to clean) but turned out to be the entire circuit board. I was called initially that it was more than that (the heads) and if I wanted to pick it up. I said, well if you could do it for around $400 I will wait. To no fault of theirs' that component has yet to be found and the one that was did not work. So, a few weeks ago I thought I would drop it and see what was happening. I was given the above information and planned on taking the unit home. When I ask how much I owed, I was told nothing. If we can't fix it, we don't charge, even for the new heads. I really didn't know what to say. We came to the agreement to hang onto the unit and Omega will still look for the part or maybe come upon a unit that they can repaired and I could purchase from them. I left some money for lunch and walked out surprised and pleased. If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. Phil at Omega TV Repair was able to diagnose my Toshiba smart big screen TV's black screen over the phone and estimated what sounded like a reasonable amount to perform the expected repair. I delivered the TV to him, and the estimate I received was the same amount estimated during my earlier phone inquiry. My TV was repaired a little sooner than expected. The parts replaced were the ones identified sight unseen during my initial phone call, and the price remained the amount I was originally quoted. Can't imagine better TV repair experience than this.
