I then bought a used PS5 from the shop, and it had issues immediately. Instead of standing behind the product, he insisted both consoles were failing because of an "environmental" issue on my end. Thankfully, I returned it within an hour and got a refund. Since purchasing a PS5 elsewhere, I haven't experienced any of the supposed "environmental" issues. Based on his response, I'm not confident I would have received a refund if I hadn't returned it immediately.

Even worse, I wasn't given a phone call, text, or email letting me know there would be a delay. When your refrigerator is broken, time matters. Food spoils and it sucks to not have ice. The absolute minimum I expect from a service company is basic communication and respect for my time. This company failed at both. If you can't make an appointment, let your customers know.
