On delivery day the driver refused to take the refrigerator away leaving a problem of having no where to put the old fridge. They have a very strict policy and one dead cockroach my tenant missed when cleaning out the back was the reason they gave for not taking it away. I called Curt to see what could be done and inquire about canceling the order until a solution could be found for my vulnerable tenant to deal with the problem the old fridge now presented. Curt was unprofessional and very rude. He repeatedly told me I was being ridiculous and unreasonable. I was trying to inquire what can be done about the fridge and what my tenant can do and Curt refused to answer questions, just repeating "Where do you want them to put the fridge? WHERE DO YOU WANT THEM TO PUT THE FRIDGE" I had to remind him I was trying to solve a problem and needed to get some information from him about what his driver could do just to get him to stop. It was obnoxious and unhelpful. So, dealing with Spencer's left me having to pay for the appliance to be removed from the condos parking lot on top of what I paid to Spencer's to take it way, got fined by my HOA for having the refrigerator moved to the parking lot to wait to be removed and I am out the money I paid to Spencer's to remove it. As life long Spencer's customers relying on them for my rentals and own appliances, I will be moving on and will never do business with them again. Providing polite customer service and treating customers with respect is not a negotiable thing.

I contacted A4L and they gave me the run around and gaslit me, saying just becasue there wasn't a serial number sticker in it, doesn't mean its refurbished. You see, they also forgot to take off the "KM Return" sticker on the side of it. The number on this sticker was the same one they used on my invoice as the "serial number"- but it was a return number. One given to it when refurbished. Nothing on my receipt said it was refurbished, and the sales person even told me if I but THEIR warranty I don't have to wait like people do for the Factory warranty techs. So, they sold me a refurbished unit as new, didn't disclose it, and tried to play me for a fool like I dont know how refurbishment and removal of Serial stickers works. The owner said he would look into where the fridge came from, after I presented all the proof that he sold me a refurbished unit that I cant get fixed through factory warrant which it was still covered under....No response, its been 3 months. They wont answer emails. Just becasue its a little cheaper, means you get what you pay for. The Owner of this place John Li, is a liar, and wont take responsibility for what happened, even if he didn't know it was refurbished, which makes no sense as he should have known. Overall most of our experiences have been good for a big box store. This review is for our most recent experience in their paint department. We had previously received great service but this past experience was a bit odd. The paint associate seemed like he had no interest in being there whatsoever and was super unhelpful and bored when we asked a few questions on best paint for our project. The previous associate Matt was so stellar, super helpful and personable, I'm not sure if he's there anymore, but he was great. We most likely will return if the occasion arises, but I'd probably avoid their period section if I saw the same associate again.
