They are master cabinet makers who employed much precision in their designs for us.The result was something so fantastic; we never dreamed we could have such an amazing kitchen. What's really remarkable was how much more space they gave us through careful attention to detail, planning, and design. The same team built a gorgeous vanity for our master bathroom about two years ago, and it's a work of art. It looks just as beautiful today as it did then- a sign of true craftsmanship and talent. We consider their partnership with us a genuine blessing- one of those strokes of luck that comes along in life from time to time if you're really fortunate. And as others have said, they're extremely easy to work with and are consummate professionals. We are so grateful they passed our way, and we hope they will do so again in the future.

We were going to replace them but Alex suggested just refinishing. I'm so happy we hired Alex and his team. The price was very reasonable and the floors are stunning. LOOK NO FURTHER! A…read morepicture is worth a thousand words ... and I have several pictures to share! I had wanted to refinish the original wood floors in my 1940's home for more than 15 years. I knew it was going to be a significant investment and I wanted to be especially cautious about how I was going to spend the money set aside for this project. I contacted a number of floor refinishers across LA County, but none had better reviews than Diaz Hardwood; the feedback about customer service was confirmed when I heard back from Alex. It took us a few tries to set up a time that worked well for both of us, but in the end, it was well worth the effort. Alex came out and looked at the floors and gave me a good estimate that included putting wood over the holes were I wanted to have existing (non-functioning) heating grates removed. Alex was very meticulous in his work - he covered up entry ways and closets with plastic to control the dust, and he contacted me every day with an update. When I returned to the house once the job was completed, I honestly could not believe that the floors were the ones that were there before I left...they looked AMAZING. Friends who have been over have asked if I got all new floors - they look THAT GOOD! Alex even gave me info on how to clean and maintain my floors so that I could maximize my investment!! Talk about customer service! In short, Alex is a master as his craft, a professional in his work, and he offers excellent customer service. I've already given his name and number to a few friends looking to have their floors refinished.

We recently completed our second project with Israel and his team…read more Our first project together was our office renovation, and we had such a positive experience with the team that we decided to move forward with a full kitchen remodel, which was obviously a much bigger and more detailed project. Like any major renovation, there were definitely moments of stress, miscommunication, and unexpected issues along the way. I think people should go into any remodel understanding that no large project is ever completely perfect. What mattered to us was that Israel and his team consistently tried to work through concerns, accommodate requests, and make things right when issues came up. One thing I especially appreciated was the patience from the team during the finishing stage. They were willing to listen, adjust details, and help troubleshoot things. That kind of attitude matters a lot during a renovation because there are always small things that come up after living in the space. In the end, our kitchen turned out beautiful, and you can tell a lot of care and hard work went into it. We're grateful for the effort the team put into our home and appreciate everything they did to bring the project to life.

The ONLY downside was that I had to wait almost a month for his schedule to allow him to start my job. He and his 3 man crew showed up early the first day and got about 80% of the repairs (and there were A LOT), and the bulk of the sanding. He under promised and over delivered to a great degree. This company really seems to value doing quality work. The price was almost too good to be true. I was still finishing up two bathroom remodels on my own house and mentioned the rate I was given and those contractors said it was a VERY good rate. Over the last year I have had to hire several contractors for my own home and my experience had been overwhelmingly bad with contractors not showing up, doing half-assed work, taking time off to do other projects while I'm living in construction chaos. Cruz Hardwood Flooring restored my faith in contractors. I have refinished floors on my own before and it was a messy job. This company has amazing equipment that captures the dust created by sanding/buffing so there was ZERO mess. I have referred them to several realtors now who will hopefully provide a flow of business to them. They are licensed and bonded per the CA Contractors website. His quote was detailed and straight to the point. He needed to refinish my floor and add flooring to an area where a fireplace was taken out. He came on time and finished under the promised timeline with high quality work. His price was also reasonable as I compared it with other hardwood contractors. I would hire him again if I had hardwood work needed in the future and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of hardwood work. 10 stars for Luis and Cruz Hardwood Floors!

I have wanted…read moreto renovate my 1950s kitchen for 19 years, and Red Sea Tile & Stone truly brought my vision to life. I hired them to replace my countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash and floor tile, replace my bathroom mirror (the old one was glued to the wall) and paint my kitchen ceiling. As a first-time renovator, I didn't necessarily do things in the right order (I had another company replace my cabinet doors and paint my cabinet boxes prior to the tile work) or even know what decisions needed to be made. Gio and Julio were patient and kind and helped me through it. The crew went above and beyond, making the tile work even more beautiful than I had envisioned. There was a little damage to the cabinet boxes - which I was warned about - from removing the old countertop, but the touchups made them practically invisible, above my expectations. The end result speaks for itself! And when there was a hiccup - a Fed Ex truck crashed into the truck carrying my countertop slab - they rushed to get a replacement to get back on track within a week. Very customer oriented. Next time I would have them do my cabinets, too. I think I have hugged my countertop at least a dozen times and can't stop staring at the backsplash tile - the detail in the window box is amazing.
