Called twice after the initial call for a quote & the day I dropped my single cabinet door off (Oct 7th) .. I'm sure they do good work, but me calling on Oct 16th, then the 21st for a status .. didn't warrant the abrasive response from the gentlemen (John) over the phone .. I could hear him in the background "this guy is on my @$$" in a very loud tone, all I asked for was a status, as the previous call, never received one .. which confused me overall because with such a small job, 2 calls (just for status) in 14 days, I've been EXTREMELY patient .. I even tried to soften John by saying my wife wants to know how much longer, kinda nudge you know how it is (didn't work) ... (Edit): John called me back the next day, 10/22/19 at 5:35pm (after their listed closing hours) and left a voice message, being even more abrasive, telling me my door is ready. This feels like a prank, I kinda can't believe this guy and how loose with the tongue he is. (Edit 10/29/19): I stopped by 10/28/19 to pick up my cabinet door. They don't accept debit or credit cards. John (owner) tells me cash or check. I tell him I'll be back before closing. I have newborn twins, so I have to go home to help my wife out, then I'll return. I return 10 minutes post close and he let's me in, yet before I pay, he mentions "I don't like your review on Facebook" .. I correct him and state "Yelp .. I left a review based on your phone etiquette on Yelp" .. I was ready to pay and go home, I even stated I can alter it now .. yet he wouldn't let it go .. so now we're in a debate for 3-4 minutes regarding the merits of respect and courtesy. He tells me he was joking. I respond by advising him that leaving a voice message with me, starting off the message with an off cusp comment "Man, you're off the hook, your cabinet door is ready, now you can tell your wife to get off your @$$ .." before you even mention the cabinet door is not courteous or professional ... I played it for him .. he laughs, fans me off with his hands from his seat, doubles down and calls me "thin skinned". I tell him, I can make a small joke regarding my wife pushing me for a status (because he didn't give me one on 10/16, his response was "it'll get done when it gets done" .. ) to soften your tone, you can't repeat it back to me in a voice message on 10/22, we don't know each other. This is a business transaction, nothing else. He then tells me based on my review it's cash only, no check. In between that he keeps pointing to cabinets on the side as a means to prop up the work, and I remind him that I specified in the review "I am sure they do good work" yet this is about the owner's behavior .. I leave, get cash, come back 15 minutes later .. He's gone, lol. This man is old enough to be my grandfather, yet acts with the maturity of a wayward 20 year old. This company is THE BEST! They are master craftsmen. Product and materials are superior. No detail is too small. If their work abuts something inferior they will do their best to make it all work. They replaced the old half round cove base with new wood. They helped conserve and move old island and granite top where i wanted it. And talk about focus! It's go go go all day long. They are fast but never compromise quality. Their measuring is absolutely precise. I couldn't believe what they showed up with after one quick visit to measure! All kinds of weird angles and difficult to refit cabinetry. It just came in absolutely perfectly. THIS is what all companies should strive to be! Many talk like they are, but when it gets to it, things aren't as smooth. I went thru gutting of old home and my husband doing EVERYTHING himself because he didn't trust contractors and his work was also exacting. These guys are THAT GOOD. Completely TRUSTWORTHY! And after working with Johann I truly believe this is imbedded in the genetic make up of their business. Purchased a bathroom vanity that is not only beautiful but feels sturdy too. I highly recommend Flamingo Cabinet door. I had cabinet drawers that kept breaking even though I had it fixed by couple of different handyman in my rental house. I contacted Yohan and he came the next day to take a look at the drawers. He suggested rebuilding the drawers and installing new closing system. He was able to build 8 new drawers (including trash drawer) and installed them the same week (he fit me in even though he was really busy because I had to get it done while tenants were away). His crew came at 10am and worked hard all day until 5:30pm installing new drawers and sliders. When tenants returned, they said the trash bin didn't close right, and when I contacted Yohan, he came himself to fix the problem (his installer called in sick) the very next day. He was so responsible!!!! The tenants are super happy with the new drawers and so am I!!!! highly recommend!! read more

If there is one thing that people know about me is, how very particular I am with my house. I ended up having a leak upstairs that went down and destroyed part of my kitchen. I had flamingo cabinet door come out and provide information about the specialty line of work that they do. I was skeptical. I have never heard of a company that will come and rebuild kitchen cabinets and paint at your house. Dennis come out, the painter, and reassure me that my kitchen would look better than it originally was. He was very professional, very confident, and said he has been in the business for the last 20 years. He said this was his specialty and not very many people do this type of work. I explicitly told him how particular I was. He said he was up for the challenge and he guaranteed me that I would be very happy with his work. So I decided to give the crew a chance. They were on time on day one. At the end of day one I was impressed on how well they took care the after cleaning. Day two went the same. On day three when I came home I was shocked that it was done. The Color was a very nice bright white and was better than my last color on my kitchen. For the record, my whole kitchen was painted white. Dennis painted all the doors and I was pretty impressed with how fast and how professional everything was left and done. These guys do amazing work! I recently remodeled all 3 of my bathrooms. They came to my house to take measurements and talk styles. John asked me if I would like to match to my oak hallway floors? I had never thought of that. The cabinets came out better than anything Home Depot had to offer, at 1/2 the price of what Home Depot quoted me for laminates. These guys built me custom oak and birch from scratch. And the attention to detail was excellent. They listened to my requests and nailed the style exactly like the pictures I gave them from the Internet. Soft close drawers and cabinets as well included in the price. He came out and designed my kitchen cabinets so that I could maximize the small room.
