I called and scheduled an estimator to visit my home for our kitchen project in our high-end home. We set the time for Friday at 1pm. I received a text message on the day of that was ambiguous about the time, so I called and verified that our appointment was at 1pm because we had another appointment to get to at 2:30. The person I spoke with confirmed that our estimator, Jose, would indeed be there between 1:00 and 1:15 pm as he would be coming straight from lunch and not another appointment. At 1:45 p.m., Jose was a no-call, no-show. Very disappointing. We will not be rescheduling. I would not recommend working with a firm that does not respect a customer's time. read more

We hired Jereme and his team at builder boy to be the GC on our extensive remodel pictured below. We had him do most everything on job which included gutting the structure down to the studs, reconfiguring the floor plan, adding structural reinforcements to create an open floor plan, re-wiring and plumbing the 5 unit complex, insulating it, installing shear paneling, stucco from scratch, and all the finish work. His professionalism, communication, and timeliness was refreshing in this day and age. Considering the high demand for general contractors today and the price gouging going on due to the low supply we were ecstatic to be able to find a GC who was able to provide high-quality customer service and an exceptional finished product. Our family would like to thank Jereme and the builder boy family for all their hard work and dedication to the job. I know we kept changing plans, finishes, and pretty much everything on you guys constantly but you kept your cool and never complained. This is a reply to the comment you made on my first review. No I used my different name. I left my name, email and phone number and a little note where I drew the vanity that I want along with the dimensions. I called the person I talked to at the store a hundred times. It's either she changed her number the next day or just didn't want to answer calls. I left voicemails as well! When I was at the store she quoted me $1,000 for a bath vanity. Then she told me she was going to email me the detailed qoute. I waited for days. Did i hear back from her? NEVER. But now no thank you, flamingo cabinets already did our custom vanity for a way cheaper price and just how we liked it. I would NEVER recommend your business to anyone. read more

after reading the reviews here I was excited when my husband told me we had an appointment for an estimate to refinish our kitchen cabinets with Natalie at 6pm last night. we both left work early to be sure to be home in time. At 6:20 Natalie called me and said "can we reschedule for a more convenient time" ... she explained that there was traffic at 6pm in orange county and she was in Laguna and that she was very busy and had lots of jobs to do so sorry if she had stood us up but if we wanted to schedule again we could.. I heard about this company through a neighbor, my grandma needed her cabinets refinished, the estimate was quick and they were able to send someone out the next day. I highly recommend Cabinet Boy. I was so hesitant to remodel my kitchen, but Nathalie made it painless. She had great ideas and made suggestions that I had not considered. At the time we were thinking of remodeling our kitchen, our condo had a flood from an upstairs unit and Nathalie said they could handle this as well. Nathalie came by and gave us an estimate within a few days. Her estimate was comprehensive, professional and competitive. I contacted Cabinet Boy for a custom cabinet I needed done with odd angles and odd specs, their designer Nathalie came out and designed perfectly, couldn't have gone better. They were a little on the higher side of pricing, but the quality was on par with the price, value well worth the price! The only reason for the 4 stars is the installation crew did a poor job of clean up, leaving sawdust/shavings about and nails. I have a 4 year old, I'm just happy she didn't step on any. That said, I would definitely recommend them, though I would also recommend being there for clean up to ensure it's done thoroughly. read more

About 50% of my kitchen cabinets were in need of refinishing and As they were made in Washington State with a faux finish I was afraid they could not be refinished. But BB did a remarkable job.
