We recently had Pacific Cabinets & Countertops install a custom quartz counter, backsplash and sink in our 1930's home. I absolutely love the quartz I choose and have no complaints about that but I noticed there is some caulk that was missed on the backsplash and the faucet hole was cut on the side. I would have preferred a smaller sink and faucet hole in the middle as the placement is making it difficult to do dishes and water keeps spraying all over the backsplash. I don't want any mold or damage to my home so I'm using the laundry sink to do dishes. I was under a time constraint and appreciate how quickly the install went though and how communicative and prompt this company was. They even brought the quartz to our home to show me before install which was above and beyond. Even though it's not perfect, it's a great improvement to what we had before. read more

I was visiting my sister & brother in law home, and they had updated their kitchen with new cabinets and counter top. I liked what I saw, got the information. I called Marvin to make an appointment, he came out to my home took measurements, had samples of what I was looking for, and said that he could have my kitchen done in two weeks. I couldn't believe it. He emailed me a quote that I was comfortable with. Marvin and George came in like a Wrecking Ball, on tax day. They demo/gutted my kitchen less then two hours. Marvin went over & beyond on updating the unseen issue. Thank you! By day three they had put in new halo lighting, priming and painting. Day four the tile was being laid, on the sixth day the lower cabinets were being installed along with the island (Quartz counter top). I had a New Kitchen in TEN Days, yes 10 days. Danny and Marvin and the crew are incredible. They did the flooring and cabinet upgrades on my clients home that she just bought. They took great care and time to discuss the plans and options with me and my client. They are professional and take care of the entire home as if it were their own. Very professional and respectful and consistently updates the client of the progress. They surprised my client with a piece she did not order but they installed an extra granite countertop piece on the hallway cabinet linen storage counter. They don't Nickel and dime you for extra discovered repair work needed. They had to replace some of the wood floor that, evidently, had water damage from an old leak. The job wasn't simple and did take some labor effort but they didn't up sell my client to pay for this discovered pre existing damage that was hidden under the old tiles. I'm really surprised to see any negative feedback for these guys. They were amazing for us from start to finish. All calls/texts were responded to very quickly by Danny, even on the weekends when I wasn't expecting a response. Danny and Marvin came to our home to measure (and got us a quote within a day), then came back to show us samples, and remeasured everything again. They were very patient and helpful during our painful decision making process as we chose our countertop (granite), cabinets (white shaker), and tile (wood grain porcelain). This is a family run business, and we felt comfortable with them from the moment we met them. Their attention to detail and professionalism is outstanding, and they're also just really nice guys. They finished the job in under 2 weeks, which we did not think was possible. I would absolutely recommend and use them again! Unprofessional and shoddy work. A while ago I worked with a designer who recommended Pacific Cabinets for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. The work was never completed. drawers were falling out of their cabinets, because they were never properly installed. The soft closing door fixtures were falling out onto our heads when we opened the cabinets within the first month of install. The demo crew damaged part of the finish on the underface of the counter install and never repaired it before leaving. It took the designer that we worked with a while to follow up with pacific cabinets about the issue. When our designer was finally in touch and had communicated the few things that needed to be completed and repaired on the project, we went through a series of non responsive follow up phone calls. It was very hard to have a professional interaction. The young person taking the calls would say he would call back, and then he would not call back. Once he called and never left a message, and when I called back the other person answering the phone lied to me saying the person I asked for was not there....only to have them come on the line once I asked enough follow up questions in an effort to try and figure out what was going on. Once he got on the phone after lying about not being there, he yelled at me for over 5 minutes. He said that even though he said he'd fix the issues, it had been too long and "I need to understand he doesn't have to do anything after this long". He was aggressive, defensive, and non collaborative. After letting him yell for 5 minutes, I stopped him and explained that he sounded new to client communications and customer management, and that his approach was a sure fire way to receive poor customer service ratings, a negative report to the better business bureau, and even litigation. He calmed down and said that I would need to speak to "his boss" to have anything completed or repaired at this point. If that were the case, it would have been nice to have only spoken with his boss, and to have never had to interact with him at all. We paid nearly $7,000 dollars and wish that we would have worked with a crew that did better quality work with enough pride in their business to treat their clients with respect as well as to finish the work that they were paid to complete. I would strongly urge anyone looking for cabinets and/or counter tops to seek alternative vendors and avoid the unnecessary unprofessionalism that comes with working with this business. read more

Supposedly the owner stated that he has never had so many problems on a job than he has had with us. Not because we are difficult but because it all went bad. READ IT ALL AND LEARN FROM THIS! We have been working with Pacific Cabinets for over 3 weeks trying to get our kitchen countertops installed with a large 36" X 60" island. Jorge the owner kept forgetting (I think he has a lot of jobs) to call us back for an install appointment after measurments. We were scheduled for a Tuesday and nobody showed up after Dave took off work. I called and he didn't know it was Tuesday, he thought it was Wednesday. So he rushed and got his guys to go pick up our granite from the slab yard. They came to the house and it was the wrong granite. Jorge (the owner) accidentally wrote the wrong granite down. I had to go to the store to show him my copy of the invoice that stated the name of the correct granite we chose. Then he had to send his workers back to get the correct one and it took them 5 hours. By this time it was already 5pm and there wasn't enough time to get it all done. After he came to the house he stated that our sink which was an under mount was not usable. They had to come back on Saturday after we made sink adjustments. On Tuesday they were able to install the utility sink next to the washer which happened to be in the kitchen (weird I know). The worker put it 1" too high and we could see the raw plywood underneath, and he was going to leave it that way! Dave pointed it out like a Redbone Hound and the guy had to take it off and redo it. They also had to take all the wood off in the entire kitchen (64 sqft.) to fix their poor planning. Besides us cleaning up their missed El Pollo Loco Cups on our back patio they left our back door (where they were working) fully open while they were sanding the granite and the wind was blowing granite dust into our house for over an hour. We had so much to clean!!! They came back on Saturday to finish and install everything. Since there were so much variations in the two pieces of granite they put together you would've thought they would have done a diagonal cut, but they didn't and I can see it a mile away, oh well. We got the island installed and we noticed that the edges looked off. They don't look the same or match, they are supposed to be bull-nosed and we have 2 bull-nosed, a chicken beak, and a thumb. On top of it the granite piece was CRACKED!!!! They installed it and were going to leave!! We stopped them right away and had them call Jorge. Jorge was supposed to come on Monday at 6pm to look at the granite island and decide what to do. My husband called him right back and left 2 voice mails stating to call us back so we can resolve it now. Jorge was a no show/no call for our Monday appointment. So Tuesday I still didn't hear from him so I called. We had a long conversation. GOOD PART: He honestly felt really bad that everything went so bad. He stated that he has never had any problems with any customer ever and that he wanted us to know that he really cared about customer satisfaction. So, he credited us for the island and told us to keep it for free. Everything was messed up and he tried to fix it all. Besides the crack the rest of the granite looks gorgeous. He really tried to make us happy in the end instead of stiffing us, good man. ***Even with all the negative experience we are still happy at the end because we have nice countertops for a really good price. PROS: -Nice selection of granite, Quartz, Marble, etc. -They will work with you as much as possible -Customer satisfaction is thought of -Good Stone/Material -Great prices ($3500 for a 10 X 8 kitchen with cabinets and granite tops) -Nice employees CONS: -They are really bad at calling you back so you have to keep on them to get back to you, even after they come measure. -You must monitor the work STEP-BY-STEP -They can make mistakes, be on top of it. -Check your edges -Check the granite completely all around because they will try to get away with it. When the workers were here they were going to try to walk away and not tell us about the HUGE crack that went completely through the granite. They tried to buff it and made it worse because its completely uneven and not flat. Not sure if this is the kind of work to expect from any place but I wish I could've just had it done without any problems or having to supervise the simplest of moments. read more

Seems he just "forgot". This outfit smells of flake. Whats really scary, is the person I complained to and asserted his company was flaky, agreed with me. NO FOLLOW UP!!!! I called this place a few weeks ago and they came out to see my place (I'm building a new house) to take measurements and show samples. We are in the market for a new kitchen cabinets complete. We just want to save our granite counter top. I have not a heard a peep from them, no call back no email nothing. I even saved the english speaking sales guy's number in my phone and called him last week. He said they were preparing something and would get back with me. Nothing. Just finished our second project with Pacific Cabinets, and both times the experience has been great. Our first project (2012) was adding additional cabinets to finish out the kitchen, and they matched our existing cabinets perfectly. The project we just finished was to install a bathroom vanity (see picture) and add a large pantry cabinet to the laundry room. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. It seems like Pacific Cabinets is a family owned/run business, which is probably why our experiences with them have been so good. They have consistently been honest, fair and friendly. They went out of their way to open the shop after business hours so that my wife and I could choose counter tops and cabinets. Jorge and Marvin patiently explained to us the pluses and minuses of different materials, and they weren't push, giving us all the time we needed to decide on a quartz top for our vanity. More than once, they offered helpful suggestions to save us money. Their showroom has a wide selection of cabinets and counter styles and colors, which was helpful when we were trying to decide on the cabinets we wanted. To my eye, it seems like they use good quality materials. All the cabinets we've purchased were made of 1/2" hardwood/plywood, which makes them durable and look great. One aspect of the install that they are particularly good at is the final trim/molding work. The last thing I'll say is that I was pleased by how they accommodated us to get everything done quickly. Once we decided on what we wanted, we had an install date set within the week. The showed up on time with the cabinet boxes already assembled and got right to work. They had finished the install of the pantry and the vanity and were completely out in less than 6 hours. I'll definitely call them again if/when I need any more cabinets. read more

Wow, all we can say is wow, we're beyond impressed with this company! My husband called this company last minute after our original company failed to deliver. Danny was at our house for measurements within half an hour of our initial contact, and showed my husband some quartz samples (they also do granite). Danny then gave us a very reasonable quote, and said they would start, and probably finish, the following day - say whaaat??!! The following morning Danny was here bright and early (1hr before the scheduled installation) to catch me before I left for work. He wanted to show me the countertops, so I could give them the go ahead before they started installing them. He was very adamant about this because "if the Mrs of the house is not happy, no one is happy" ha ha! When I came home later that day it was all done, within 27 hours from the initial phone call, and it looks amazing - unreal!! It's like we were in some marvelous home makeover show, like it's too good to be true, but it all happened!! I would recommend this company to anyone, the owners Danny and Mario are wonderful people that really care about their customers, and the kind of work they do. I will admit that throughout this process, you have to stay on top of it, but in the end, it was fantastic. Jorge came out to measure and give me an estimate for a rental house that I own. I had to call for him a few times to start the process, but he was able to get to me within the next week. Additionally, some modifications were made, but to MY approval. You have to look at the details, because there were some issues. BUT, Jorge and his foreman, Danny aim to please and will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. So, for that, I have to give them the 5 stars. I would definitely call them again when the need arises. read more
