If I could give OLIVIA 4.5 stars, I would. Overall, we had a fantastic family brunch. We made a reservation through Resy and were seated promptly. Our server was outstanding from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and never overbearing. As a parent of a 3-year-old, I have to give the staff a huge shoutout. From the moment we walked through the front door, everyone made our daughter feel welcome. Whether it was greeting her, giving her high fives, or checking in with her throughout the meal, they truly made her feel included. Any parent knows how much that can change the entire dining experience, and OLIVIA absolutely hit a home run in that department. Our server, Travarious (I think I spelt this right) was amazing. For food, we ordered the garlic bread, truffle fries, Margherita pizza, Agnolotti, Bucatini, drinks, and finished with the olive oil cake (substituted with raspberry sorbet and mango). The garlic bread and truffle fries were excellent, and the Margherita pizza even earned an enthusiastic thumbs-up from our 3-year-old, which is about as honest of a food critic as you'll find. My wife loved the Agnolotti, and I really enjoyed the Bucatini. The olive oil cake was very good as well, although a little sweeter than I personally prefer. We originally wanted the tiramisu, but with a 3-year-old at the table, we decided to skip the espresso dessert and chose something everyone could enjoy. The atmosphere was lively for a Sunday brunch. It was definitely busy and energetic, but never so loud that it became distracting. It felt like everyone was simply enjoying a relaxing weekend meal. The reason this isn't a full 5 stars comes down to two things. First, the pricing felt just a little high for what we ordered--not enough to keep us from coming back, but enough to notice. More importantly, we specifically made a reservation expecting to be able to order from the full menu. We arrived around noon and found out only the brunch menu was available. I couldn't find that restriction mentioned on either the restaurant's website or on Resy. Had we known, we simply would have booked a later reservation. That said, we genuinely enjoyed our experience and would absolutely return. Next time, we'll just plan our reservation around the dinner menu. If you have young children but still want an elevated dining experience, OLIVIA deserves to be on your list. read more

We had an amazing girls night here on Thursday night. It was definitely packed. Despite the busy restaurant service was so fast and friendly and so attentive with table wipe downs in between courses . We made a reservation early for 530 parking lot was small, but they have complementary valet, which is so convenient. They have a special vegan menu and vegetarian options as well and the drinks were awesome as well. I got the strawberry Fields mocktail, which was perfect. I also got the spicy vodka sauce, pasta, and the olive oil cake dessert which was so delicious. Would highly recommend for dinner out or girls night. read more

Another great meal at Olivia. This time I made a point to try their $16 Espresso Martinis and it was a solid 7/10. Not my favorite, but not bad either. OLIVIA was the most recommended restaurant by my local partners in Tampa and it lived up to the hype! The restaurant was packed even late on a Monday night. Someone in our group had flight delays, so we lost our reservation and ended up grabbing seats at the bar once they opened up due to long waitlist times. Our server was great and helped us pick out our dishes. Highly recommend the Agnolotti and the tableside Chicken Parmesan. Coming from someone who rarely orders chicken at restaurants, it was SO good! Wish we had room for the tiramisu because everyone told me to try it. Then the cheese, olive and sun dried tomato appetizer was such a well thought out combination. I didn't get to try the squid ink pasta due to allergies but my friend said it was the perfect texture with a very nice flavor. The grilled oysters were 10/10. I didn't enjoy the flourless cake. Olivia was slammed when I went but our server was still very attentive and helpful. My water never went below halfway. The food was absolutely delicious and lived up to the hype. We ordered the garlic bread and yellowtail as an appetizer and they may have been my favorite items of the night. We split the lemon fettuccini, the scallops, and the Brussel sprouts. My daughter had us split a croissant with fresh strawberry jam as an appetizer. For our meal I chose the waffle with ricotta and strawberries and my daughter had the frittata. Our server told me that their waffle maker was putting charred material on the waffle so if I wanted I could switch to bombini's with the same topping. 5 minutes later he said there was still one good waffle available. My family took me here for an early Mother's Day brunch and it didn't disappoint. We shared the arugula salad, ham pizza, biscuits and gravy, waffle w strawberries, and the steak sandwich. Not even kidding when I say this is the only place I ate at last weekend when I was in Tampa! My bf wanted to take me because he stopped while in town and raved about the garlic bread. So naturally we had to stop in when we were together. Saturday we arrived for an early dinner. We had several drinks and many appetizers. Our server Kyle was great. This time, for my husbands birthday we started with the meatballs which are perfect to share. I got an espresso martini and he got a nice glass of fine wine! Oliva never disappoints! While my parents were visiting, we know immediately we needed to bring them here for dinner. The staff is always great, but our waitress was so lovely this visit! My mom had a lot of questions and she was fantastic about answering them. No fault to the service, but the food did take quite a bit of time to come out. It was a bit of a wait, so we enjoyed some drinks and good conversation. The Goat Cheese Sformato was a delicious starter! The bread is toasted enough without being hard and the goat cheese was so good. Two of our party ordered the Prime Rib special and that was a table hit!!! Whatever sauce comes with the prime rib is phenomenal and I'm still thinking about it!! The lasagna special was also well worth the order! They prepare the lasagna daily and we were able to snag one of the last two orders. I opted for the tortiglioni with blackened chicken and it was the perfect pasta dish. The desserts were fine, but not sure I would need to order dessert again next time. The affogato had a different spin on it than a standard affogato, but wasn't bad. The strawberry dessert was a hit for my parents, but isn't my preference. The vibes of Olivia are always top tier! She was delighted from the second we pulled into the parking lot. Hostess was quick to greet us and had us seated at a table in the middle area. The ambiance is excellent. Mixed seating, warm time lighting, view of the prep kitchen and bar. Or server stopped by to take drink orders shortly after we were sat, and he was stellar throughout our experience. He offered suggestions, was pleasant, and quick on both good and drinks. We were there during brunch but they also offered lunch options for those not into exclusively breakfast style brunches. I was not impressed with this place. My lobster was really overcooked. I did not like the fettuccine as it was hard. The added scallops were amazing and so were the appetizers but the amount of time we had to wait so long to get our food was just not impressive to me and I got charged $32 to add the scallops to my already $39 meal which I was not told upfront and thought was really unfair and wasn't told that when I ordered it so not really happy with this place. We were visiting Tampa and for a special meal we chose OLIVIA. We had made a reservation a few days in advance, I'd recommend doing that, the place was busy. The restaurant is at a busy intersection where 3 roads converge. There is limited restaurant parking, but they do offer valet parking. It was loud inside. We had no trouble holding conversations but there really was a high level of noise. As I often do, I had checked out their menu online and already knew what I wanted, the Bruchetta and Tortiglioni. Our wonderful server told us about a special they had, Lasagna, which my wife ordered, along with their Wild Arugula salad. I liked it all. We began by splitting the salad, that nice vinaigrette flavor. There was a lot of stuff in this healthy light salad, including something listed as honey crunch. This was a nicely thought out offering. Following, we had the Bruchetta, a soft bread with an easy crust. Instead of sliced or diced tomato it had a tomato relish, a nice moist topping complimented by herb ricotta. This was a great start. There was a longer than I expected wait for our entrees at about 30 minutes, but finally my Tortigloini arrived. Listed with spicy alla vodka, I did notice a hint of spiciness. The sauce itself was mild, I would have preferred something with a bit more punch, but still good and just enough to go with the pasta. What I really liked was my sampling of my wife's Lasagna that night and again the next day for lunch. Forget about a square out of a pan, this was rolled lasagna, like something individually created just for you. It is not listed on their menu but according to our server, something they offer daily but often run out of, so they treat it as a special item. Service was a step above, including providing fresh silverware, a table cleaning between courses, and more. Our server was very nice to talk with, providing recommendations, history, and general conversation. She took the time to make our visit more memorable. We had a reservation for my birthday but we had to wait another 20 minutes after the reservation before being seated (which is fine but slightly annoying). The restaurant is beautiful and there is valet parking. The ambiance is very loud and there's a lot going on all at once. It's a great place for a GNO but for a date night it was fairly loud, I felt like I needed to shout a bit at my boyfriend to converse. GOAT CHEESE SFORMATO ($9): this was pretty good even though I don't enjoy the taste of olives much. I liked the sweetness of the sun-dried tomatoes. Objectively, there was not enough bread for the dip 3.5/5 AGNOLOTTI ($27): Absolutely delicious, the star of the pastas. The sauce was wonderful and it all came together nicely. 5/5 SQUID INK CASARECCE ($24): I like Al dente but it was a little too underdone for my liking to the point where the noodles were a bit hard. I read other reviews about the same problem and I truly did not think it would be an issue bc I like Al dente but I get it now. It had a nice spicy kick to it which I enjoyed and the flavor was decent. Not the best I've ever had but very delicious for the price! 4/5 TORTIGLIONI ($20): loved the noodles and how chewy they were. Pretty good dish but nothing outstanding that was blowing me away. Similar to a Rao's vodka sauce but slightly better. Everything was reasonably priced and it was very solid. I got a complimentary cannoli and note for my birthday which was the cherry on top! They offer complimentary valet parking when you pull up on the event it is super busy..we had reservations that were made weeks earlier and the restaurant was full all evening. Super friendly hostesses greeted us as we came in and checked in..we were taken to our table quickly. They have a bar area in there as well..I love the openness of this place and it was very nice...we had a wonderful server who explained the features..the dining room manager came over and introduced herself and made sure all our needs would be met...we felt like VIP's! They have a wonderful menu and all their Pasta is homemade...the choices were excellent! I was happy they had bottled water in the Glass bottle..they serve Coke products and an array of drinks.. ordered Bruschetta and it was delicious..we ordered the specialty they have right now,the table side Chicken Parmesan and it is not disappoint! I am beyond thrilled with not only the food but also the service at Olivia's. I've been dying to try this place, and my taste buds are absolutely happy as can be. I went on a Sunday and had the best experience. It felt comfortable, elevated, and easy to enjoy a full meal without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. Our server was training someone, but you couldn't even tell--it was so professional. One thing I noticed was how many people work there, and I really hope it stays that way. Each staff member had a specific role, and it made the entire service feel seamless. There was no rushing and no stress on the servers. You could tell they really enjoyed what they were doing. They also offer complimentary valet, and you can even Venmo a tip, which made arrival and departure super easy. At the end of our meal, someone even came to box up our food for us--we didn't have to do it ourselves. Very old school NY!!! Top-tier service. As for the food: the oysters we had were flavorful, and the garlic bread selection was soft and not overly heavy on the garlic. My friend ordered the scallops with risotto and crispy prosciutto, and I ordered the special chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti in a lemon sauce that they suggested. I was in the mood for a lemon-flavored pasta, and they absolutely delivered. Both plates were phenomenal. I wish they had a place like this in Orlando. This was my 4th time visiting Olivia, and I feel by far the best experience overall yet. The service was top notch on a very crowded Tuesday night. The ambiance of the restaurant gives upscale modern vibes with a space that is great for post work cocktails or a date night out. The brussel sprouts are my favorite i have ever had anywhere, and a must order everytime I am here. The pizza had a perfect crust with incredible fresh pesto. The Fritto Misto was good I wish it had more calamari and shrimp and less halibut as I feel it was a majority portion of the dish. The pasta main was delicious with the shortrib so tender it fell apart with a fork pairing perfect with the sauce for a balanced bite. First off, five stars for Camila for making our experience! I had made a reservation in advance to come and celebrate our son's birthday after we visited the aquarium. Anyhow, I specifically asked that the highchair be available at the table when we got there. It was a complete downpour when we got in there and three of the hostesses in the front were just standing there talking with one another and I was managing my toddler in one hand with a huge umbrella trying to get through one door. That was the first negative for me! Anyhow, we got in there, and our other friends were waiting there at the table which was seated opposite right in the front of the hostess stand, and there was no highchair there or no room for a stroller. After I went back outside and got my second child, we asked to move to another table. We were moved over by the wine wall. That was a much better area if you have a stroller and easier for us to maneuver with the kids. Zach was there in the interim while we were waiting for Camila to come in. We ordered some appetizers and we were able to get that in so that we could get some food for the kids. We ordered the garlic bread, the truffle fries, burrata, as well as the brussels sprouts. I thought the brussels sprouts and the garlic bread were the best things of the appetizers that we had. For dinner, a friend and myself ordered the chicken Milanese, which I thought was OK, it was very dry and there was no flavor to it. My husband got the fish and he said it was good and our friend got the Cacio E Pepe and she said it was good as well. Our drinks were good and Camilla gave great suggestions. She was very sweet gave good conversation and catered to our kids. She even asked the chef if we could have gnocchi as a dish because they did not have it on the menu. The kids love gnocchi and I was surprised it wasn't a stand alone dish, but it was very plain. She brought out a little cannoli for my son to sing happy birthday, and she was very sweet. We ordered the apple torte, which I didn't think was as phenomenal as some people say. I thought the walnuts were the best part to be honest with you.
