I then filled out a form indicating my medical history along with signed authorization. A staff member then had me look into 3 machines to check the health of my eyes. No longer do you have to get eye drops and experience blurred vision for hours. The new machine they use just requires you to look inside the eye opening and wait for a a green light to come on in order for it to take a detailed photo. I was then escorted to Angela, the doctor, who performed the reading exam and lens determination. She was very quick and friendly. I was told they store your eye examination records there for 5 years. The final step was to pick my frames and choose the options. In the next room, I was served by a couple of staff who were very helpful. I tried on a few pairs of glasses, with the staff suggesting a couple of different styles. Most frames ranged in cost from $200 to $250. I eventually went with some nice spring-loaded RayBan's, with the extra options of progressives, non-glare, and transition lenses. They made the measurements of the glasses on my face and put the order into the system. They are due to come in within two weeks. Apparently they are made at a central factory and then shipped to the store. An email will be sent to me when they arrive. Such a simple and smooth process!

When we first entered, I was disappointed to see that their frames were either behind the counter or in a case. I don't like the feeling of being pressured and at the mercy of a salesperson, but that wasn't the case here. Raiko asked what type of frames I was looking for. He started looking at his display and pulling out some frames. After realizing that there were some shapes that I didn't like, he started focusing on other styles. I liked that I was left alone while he was selecting frames for me and leaving them in the counter for me to try. After finally finding a pair that I liked, I mentioned that I wasn't sure if the prescription. Raiko looked my current prescription and the picture I had of my old prescription, and mentioned that it was a big change. I didn't realize that the other gentleman who was working at a computer was Dr. Masters, but he came over to take a look at my prescription. I was amazed at their care and concern to make sure that my prescription was correct. My glasses took longer than "same day" but that was due to my insurance. I was surprised that my glasses fit perfectly and didn't need to be adjusted when I picked them up. I would highly recommend them if you need new glasses!
